  1. Have you ever baked a cake before? It's not easy...
  2. You're PvPing on a PvE server. There's nothing to understand... Grats on the first server down. Pot5 did it how many weeks ago?
  3. You could have ended the post here. Over Healing and Effective healing are not an effective way of measuring a healers ability to heal. An Operative will Over heal much more frequently than a sage as the role of an Operative is Preventative healing as Opposed to Spot or Spike healing.
  4. Hey, Dulfy. Reviewing your Skill Tree and I Don't mean to nitpick, but I'm curious as to your reasoning behind taking Surprised Surgery over Evasive Imperative? I find Evasive Imperative much more practical in Fights that may require raid wide cleansing such as 8 man/ 16 man HM DF (Nefra, Gate Commander Draxus, Dread Master Brontes) as I find myself cleansing two others and using evasion to cleanse myself so it's optimal for me to have Evasion up as much as possible. If Kolto Probes are consistently up there should never be a problem with Upper Hand or Tactical Advantage.
  5. Dear Mr. JovethGonzalez, This is the type of honest and straightforward response customers want to receive. You acknowledged the problem, apologized to your customer and explained how the development team intend to resolve the issue. Thank you, Happy Customer
  6. Character Name: Maus Equipment: hazmat force-healer's mk-3 relay Faction: Republic
  7. Dear Poster, I am confused by your use of the word "entitled" do you mean to say that entitlement is neither rational or mature or that rational and mature people are not entitled to a solution? Do you mean that people who demand a fix while refusing to take measures to alleviate their problem while a solution is made to resolve their problem are entitled? Either of these cases I find very confusing. Or perhaps you are confusing actual entitlement with the phrase "a false sense of entitlement "which I believe is a common idiomatic expression which would entail the individual thinks that they are entitled to something when in actuality they are entitled to nothing. I apologies English is not my first language.
  8. Dear to who/whom ever it may concern, I belong(ed?) to an active progression raiding guild (Mostly 16 man EC nim as well as 8 man nim ec groups) Due to the recent change in repair costs our guild has cut back significantly on raiding as the costs to repair have taken a rather large toll on our players moral and guild bank funds. Now i'm not saying the change of repair costs was a bad idea. I'm simply stating that the current state of repair costs has led to many in my guild (in-which all are subscribers) deciding (risks != reward) and are actively seeking challenges in other games. As you can see I make no assertions nor do I conclude whether the change in repair costs "is" in fact a problem. I simply felt it best to state my own personal observations. I hope that your own experiences lead you to your own conclusions. Thank You
  9. I'm pretty sure there are only 3 PvP guilds that run rateds on this server so I'd say those three.
  10. As a member of a guild that's 6th in the world for downing Nightmare EC 16 man and someone who has consistently won rated warzone events. I'd have to say this point is moot. A skill can be taught. Anyone in my guild is capable of taking a complete scrub with an understanding of basic algebra and teaching him/her how to min-max his/her build and class rotation. In little less than a month you can teach someone to be a progression raider and to compete at the top of their game in PvP. You can't pigeon hole good players. What makes a good PvPer/PvEr is time, patience and the willingness to learn.
  11. Is there a way we can contribute to expedite the process?
  12. lyynk, will there be any future consideration for a live parser that connects to the web database? Torparse is my crack.
  13. Sure you can make the argument that 8-man's are more difficult. I can also make the arguement that Jacob is better than Edward Cullen and that my ancestors rode on raptors. Guild progression statistics may disagree with your assessment as no 16-man guild has been able to complete EC Nightmare. But who the hell cares about "facts", damage multipliers based on raid makeup or statistics. Those are just words meant to confuse how you feel in your gutt... As for my guild I can only say that we have yet to beat 16 man EC nightmare. It's the most challenging and frustrating ops we have ever had the privelege of running. Mad props to the first 16 man that completes EC Nightmare. Cause you deserve it.
  14. I appreciate the compliment but I disagree with your sentiment, I think elitism is completely waranted and should be welcomed and expected in competitive progression based raiding. 16 man raid groups SHOULD be held in the highest regard and all serious raiding guilds should aspire to meet this challenge instead of taking pride in accomplishments of mediocrity (8 man raid groups). Of course if we feel the need to humor them I suppose a seperate bracket is fair. We do have a special olympics after all..
