  1. Hi why have medpacs disappeared from vendors (or is my game bugged?), all i can see at level 80 are ones for both you and companion. Specifically where have the level 80 Kyrprax Medpacs gone now? You have introduced a patch that removed them while fixing some other stuffs i guess? Also why can't crafted Medpacs be usable for all legacy characters? Like my Bio toon can then make for the rest of my toons yes?
  2. Hi I apologise if this has already been asked but do we actually have to choose a combat style? I for one think that this whole combat style is just smoke and mirrors, most of us would rather have had more new content instead of all the bugs added with this system. I DO NOT want to have any of my characters using this dual combat style rubbish. I personally can't see the point. As you can't change within an instance anyway. And it removes the need for alts. I think im like most of your player base and hardly do Operations at all. In fact in the 10 years of playing this game I would not have even done one operation per year. They are a distraction from the actual story ( I know part of the story is in the operation) in my mind. I love grouping with players doing dailies or helping new players to level. Please tell me combat styles are not a necessity, your whole KOTFE and KOTET were bad enough as it turned an MMORPG into a single player game essentially and removed the need to level with others. Every update seems to be a downgrade as the game is continually made easier for some reason?? This new UI should not have been released in it's current state, you are already seeing how your customer base feels and the haemorrhaging of active subscriptions has begun. I for one will seriously consider cancelling my Sub if this whole "Combat Style" is a mandatory thing. Would love a response but don't expect one given your track record to date.
  3. Hi there having just one viable way to get these necessary items seems very limited. I think you are losing an opportunity here, many players find the Iokath area very convoluted and disjointed (plus hard to navigate). A lot of us bypass and do not even do the missions on planet/area. My idea is to have the "Iokath Recombinator" drop from elite/boss fights as well as a reward for the weekly missions. Another way we could receive them is from conquest reward when Iokath are listed as objectives. Seems kinda vague and not thought out to get "Iokath Recombinator" from Odessen. Please consider these ideas or add some of your own. I DO NOT want to fuel the GTN market trade. Appreciated.
  4. Hey Bud I used to play all types of content except for starfighter... but even then it was only in the early years that you/I/we needed special gear...in MOST cases now you could get away with pretty much anything, including non class specific gear.....it seems to make little overall difference. I was wondering if anyone was going to bring up "ops" as I have run a few of those as well...tbh not as many as a lot of you (as I can't see the point of getting gear that you can't use except in operations and only to a negligible extent), I think the focus on gear and "playing the way you would like" is a bogus scam....As IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE overall. Sad that the focus of the expansion is on gear specialities when there is absolutely no need for it anymore. Make the game demanding again and watch players flock back. It is far to sedentary now. Also it's been my experience that end game content ie "ops" are normally so broken it matters little what gear you equip....have been in 8 players and above with a good 40% of the team wrongly equipped and we have still completed the missions.....originally if there was even one wrongly equipped we made sure he/she sorted it out as we would have failed. Maybe you didn't play the game originally and only play the "vanilla" version now...if you can't remember??
  5. Hey so my question is why do we need the new gear sets and other combat enhancements when I can have all my buffs on and my companion on heal then calmly kill up to five NPC's without lifting my finger. Surely im not the only one questioning this.....? The game is going to get harder then?? If not what's the point....most players that have left the game have done so because its just a key smashing opportunity with no real need for specific builds. I just don't get it? With all these things that Bioware etc are talking about are you going to FINALLY make the game more of a challenge?? You have to know the three modes you can play the game at also make no difference either right...if I play on normal or for example veteran this is only a negligible difference in the toughness of my opponents?? Please say you are going to make the game a challenge again? Great concept and story (except for kotfe/kotet) but no actual challenge since the changes made around the time of removal for companion modifications...does this upcoming change mean you are trying to make the game as great as it was then?
  6. Any chance that we can quit the Alliance in the coming update...a lot of the purists don't believe that there would have even been an "alliance" in the first place. I'm hoping that you can see a way that we can just go back to our "roots" completely. Personally I wish KOTET/KOTFE had never happened or at least did not still effect the game and your actions within it. Maybe we can defect or let them (choosing what companions to save) be ambushed, as an empire player, and as a republic player leave the "alliance" because of ethical reasons..... Not sure where this post should go...just want to get this message out and talked about. I know of friends that would come back to the game if we can wash our hands with the 'alliance" experience once and for all.....
  7. The main thing i didn't like was that they were single player...they took a MMORPG and turned it into a single player game....at least Revan was multiplayer and believable.
  8. I agree with your statement, it needs to feel natural....and being a leader of am "Alliance" as a Sith Lord definitely does not feel natural. So hopefully Bioware/EA/Disney, whoever, give us the option of leaving the "alliance" permanently. I think selling them out to the Empire and getting a lot of them killed would be very Natural.
  9. Hi i would be interested to know how many of you would like the option to quit the Alliance permanently? I myself found the KOTET/KOTFE experience very underwhelming and would really love the opportunity to either disband the Alliance or Resign as commander. Id like for my characters that played those two really nonsensical expansions to realize the error of their ways and get back to basics. I think im going to try posting this on a few different threads because if there isn't going to be an option to do any of the above im either going to be forced to delete roughly five toons or simply never play them again. If someone knows who i should be asking to make this happen please let me know. I have no wish to be rude but the KOTET/KOTFE expansions must have been made during a writers strike.... NB I find it almost rude to think that we are supposed to believe the content of those expansions...the total lack of plausibility behind the so called "Alliance" is just the tip of the iceberg. I'm really hoping that im not the only one that finds this to be so.

  12. Hi there i was wondering (surely im not the only one), if there will be a chance to divorce myself completely from being the "Alliance" commander and return to my roots, so to speak. I would like for an option that would see me quit the Alliance and go back to either the Empire or Republic. I am one of the many that left the game because the content in KOTET and KOTFE was just borderline stupid/unbelievable. Please tell me there will be an option to QUIT THE ALLIANCE?
  13. Hi there, can you please make this content skippable as it does not represent actual events to most of the players i have polled. I understand that you have chosen this path...for reasons that make no sense to me....but the content represented in KotFE/KotET makes little actual sense. There is no way that any of this could transpire...even remotely. A very large proportion of the players i have polled choose to start the storyline then immediately abandon it, so they can at least unlock Odessen and the following areas. Just look into your figures of the amount of players that have gone to Odessen to unlock their original companions...that should give you a good idea of the state of things. It would be a very good idea to make this content completely skippable, as the Umbara FP plus the Iokath content is quite playable (as long as you block out the fact that it's caused by the events in KotFE/KotET) I would like to see a reworking of the events that caused the latest content to transpire....in an ideal world KotFE/KotET would just be a figment of a badly thought out storyline team lol. If you are looking into extra places to create storyline content why not go back to Dromund Kaas and expand on the Revanites...SOR ended far to soon as was not fully utilised with a staggering ammount of content that could still be used to create hours of believable satisfying multi player game play. (why would you take the multi player aspects out of the game as you have done with KotFE/KotET anyway?). Another place you could expand with reality would be Manaan. The key is storyline MULTI-PLAYER driven content, that is believable and can be played with friends....not the SINGLE player badly written, barely plausible drivel that is KotFE/KotET. I for one will be very interested to see if you even care about this....or is the focus just on making money at the expense of reality and fun? Not remotely hopeful. Obiwaffen
  14. Hi i don't know why i'm even bothering because you all seem to be keen to destroy swtor for the gamers, but here goes anyway. Do you understand the concept of MMOG, because since you now no longer need other players to help you there seems little point to the game. Bad idea one:remove heroic 4s. Bad idea two: Remove the need for multi player cooperation. Bad idea three: release all the new content so far as single player story mode (do i need to mention again MMOG????). Bad idea four: Make the game so easy now i can complete class missions fully five levels below the so called threshold. I can go on but what's the point, underneath all the glitz of the latest release its obvious to most of us that you have run out of ideas and seem content to have it all your way, this alienating the true fans and players. Whats the point of an MMOG with frak all MMOG content, its just a joke now...a redneck from Alabama with one arm and no sight could play the game now. After playing this game since beta stage I'm VERY DISGUSTED with what you have done to what had promised to be such a great game. I could even deal with your refusal to make the game graphically better (make the game playable to more people, at the cost of the game play) But there are to many things that are just far to easy now. Its a sad day...but i have given up on change. I will not be renewing my subscription any more.
