  1. Encountered this as well. Combat log shows several 'ranged attack' hits for 26k within the span of 2.5 seconds. Tank just getting instagibed, not from AOE but just basic attack from walker. Boss putting down 6+ blue circles in first round, rather than the usual 1, as well. Super peculiar behavior.
  2. Hi, I recently purchased the Fire Trap and Electric Wall trap from the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife event. We'd hoped to use these in a guild Rishi stronghold for Huttball matches and team deathmatches, but... The damage is almost non existent from these decorations! (And, honestly, I was hoping the wall trap would have some kind of stun effect.) It would be wonderful if the damage of these items (and future 'traps') could be increased to the levels found in warzones. Otherwise, they're not much fun or use. Thank you!
  3. I joined this guild a few months ago and it's been an absolute blast. They run a weekly bounty board, do mercenary jobs for other guilds, and have a complete clan system. They've also had some really cool one-off events like a dueling circle, guild raffles and give-aways, and a bunch of PvP tournaments. If you're looking for an active group of Mando'ade to add some flavor to your SWTOR experience, you can't go wrong with these guys.
  4. Let me add that the PvP 'community' is broadly perceived by less active PvPers and non-PvPers as toxic, rude, and gate-keeping. That's for a good reason, especially in ranked! Gate-keeping is really important to maintaining (The admittedly already highly variable) the reasonable level of skill in Ranked that we have on SF. But it's hard to get the balance between incentivizing ranked to a degree that you have a substantial player base against introducing way too many clueless conquest-seekers. The greater the rewards, the more players, but the more unhelpful idiots and bots you're going to find. I suspect a population of ~50 active, vaguely decent PvPers is all you're likely to get for solo ranked without seriously disrupting the ecosystem. As others have noted, why would the devs put effort into this limited aspect of the game that so few players take advantage of? (When was the last time you heard about a GSF update, for example?) Nip dead buds. Unpopular opinion: arenas are dumb, bring back 8v8 ranked.
  5. Are you pub or imp side and are you funny?
  6. i usually try to keep things interesting for teams with identifiable premades that're queue'd against scrubs: give a couple nodes for no reason, call incs when there ain't none, /stuck randomly. until bioware adds even vaguely reasonable matchmaking to regs, it's a moral obligation.
  7. Not many guilds that large or active on the server, tbh. Maybe one of the Pax guilds will float your boat. I hear tell that Aisthesis is still monstrously large, though I haven't seen their tag in ages. Keep in mind that /who <guild name> isn't exactly...accurate. You're almost certainly getting an artificially low response rate on those searches because the game is dumb. (That said, 95% of the guilds on the server are 10 accounts or less. Most of them far less than that.) You might not be open to this, but I'd suggest evaluating what exactly it is you want to do in the game. If you're really just looking for an (overly) active gchat, then your approach seems swell. If you actually want to play the game, you'll probably have a better experience finding a guild with the culture/set of people/enthusiasm/end game interests that matches your own. There are dozens and dozens of successful, active, but small guilds on the server that are really some of the best citizens we have. It's hard to say the same for the large guilds, if only because they are by nature so insular.
  8. Lots of 4 mans, lately, but I haven't hit an actual super queue in months. Weird. You sure you're not seeing things? ps, they deleted my dick weasels post, but super queuers are dick weasels for sure.
  9. It's mostly a PvE guild. What PvP occurs is not organized. You may be looking for <Republic Honour Guard>, which was created by an ex-member to troll the original guild by playing poorly in PvP (). I'm not sure the original guild has even noticed, tbh.
  10. Can this thread continue forever, please. It is my favorite thing.
  11. Playing this game w/o guild tags was the best decision anyone ever had.
  12. try the community site. very few rpers come here with any frequency. swtor forums are mostly for trolling.
