  1. I've been crunching some simple numbers trying to find out which stat I want to stack to get the most DPS for my Gunner specc'd Commando. I found something very interesting, I don't want AIM at all when compared to crit. As it turns out, on an ability that does 1000 damage 1 crit rating will cause me to do roughly 17 more damage, where as 1 aim will cause me to do 3.6 more damage. Essientially 1 crit = 4 aim. I assume this works for all other primary stats as well. Which in turn makes customizable gear terrible, and crafted artifact gear where you can get upwards to 80 crit rating much more valuable. It seems wierd to me that the high level vendor gear gives so little crit in comparison to crafted gear.
  2. Just made level 50 two days ago myself. Haven't been able to find 1 group for end game flashpoints. I'm almost to the quiting point because theres very little for me to do solo, I'm not into pvp. I've been wondering where the LFG tool has been since day one, and yeah after reading that the developers conciously made the decision to not implement it, I predicted that my time in SWTOR would be very short. The community is just way to fragmented in different chat channels / guilds / servers or what not to make group finding feasable. I gave up on sitting around for 3 hours LFGing in FF XI, I don't intend to do it again here.
  3. I'm sorry, but the convience that the tool brings far out weigh any detrimental effect it might have to the server community. And I'm not sure it really has any, if people want to stand around chatting they'll do so. But with the chat channels divided amongst the worlds, its painful to just stand around looking for a group. You want to be in a queue and off doing other stuff. Which is what TOR seems to be about doing with its crafting system, its just silly how they missed creating a LFG tool.
  4. It has always surprised me these past couple of years that when a new MMO is released with a queue system for PvP they neglect to implement a decent LFG queue for PvE. Getting groups together for flashpoints and heroic quests is rather painful compared to the simplicity of WoW's Dungeon Finder. We have to struggle with shouting over a congested chat channel and try to flag ourself as LFG that I'm certain 80% of the player population is unaware of. It'd ease my heart if I new something was in the works...
