  1. Hey all, it's been a while since I posted a thread here. Anyways, I have lately been playing the game a lot and taking advantage of the 12x XP. (I got a toon to 55 in a week.) And I want to keep taking advantage of it for as long as I can. So I want to know which of of my 2 agent AC's I should level first: Sniper or Operative. I know that one is ranged and the other is melee. I know that one is damage and heals and that the other is just damage. I know it depends on my playstyle. I know all of this. What I want to know is the following: Which class: Can control the fight, have more/better survivability, have good group utilities, do better in PvP on average, do better in PvE on average, take the least amount of damage in a fight (Which one can better kill the enemy before they kill you.) and what are some advantages that one class has over the other? I appreciate your help. Thanks.
  2. Well, I don't have EVERY move yet, as my sorc is only level 50
  3. Hello all. I am a bit confused, as seen in the title. I am in a bit of a predicament right now. You see, I love my main (Lvl 60 Jugg) and he does great DPS and tanking, but I feel I need something different. As a result, I went back to playing my Sorc who I almost gave up on and I did well with him, but, I dont like how Sorc needs a long cast time for every move (And yes, I know, mages are supposed to have that.) On top of that, I think Sorc has gotten kinda squishy. So, I found all the other possible alternatives that I think are best. Keep in mind that for my new class, what I mainly need is relatively good DPS, good survivability, being able to control the fight and mainly being able to hold my own in both PvP and PvE. So, these are my choices (Please help me choose.) : Sniper Operative Sith Assassin Mercenary Powertech If you can please list the pros and cons of each and your suggestions, that would be very appreciated. For the Empire!
  4. Well, in my opinion, it all comes down to your personal preference. You see, there are many choices here: 1. You already played Vanguard, so why not have a little variety and go PT?(I'm not saying go PT it's just a suggestion.) 2. Do you want to be melee or ranged? (Melee = PT, Range = Merc) 3. Both classes can DPS pretty well, but one can heal and the other can tank so, aside from DPS, would you be more comfortable with healing or tanking? These are just a couple of suggestions so you can better choose.
  5. Hi. This post is about the new PvE gear that dropped in patch 3.0. There are 3 types: Yavin (Tier 1), Massassi (Tier 2) and Deceiver (Tier 3). What I am focusing on is the Massassi and Yavin gear sets for the Sith Warrior class. I want to know which one looks cooler/nicer but they are both cool so I cannot decide, so I want your guys' opinion. Which do you think looks better, the Massassi or Yavin sith warrior set? Please let me know and thanks.
  6. Hello. I have seen this and similar situations a lot in the game and some people act like it's a huge deal and I really want to know if it is. Ok, I will give you the example of how it happened to me. So, I was in an Ops Group getting ready to fight the boss. I was DPS specced but I was unknowingly wearing Tank Gear (The Bulwark pieces. I later discovered that the DPS set was the Pummeler.). The Ops Leader then told me "Learn endgame content before you try to do an Operation, idiot." and kicked me from the group afterwards. So, I want to know from you people: Is it really that bad to be DPS specced and wear Tanking Gear or be Tank specced and wear DPS gear? What are the effects of doing that? Is it really a major problem or did the Ops Leader exaggerate? Please let me know and thanks.
  7. Hi. So, I recently made a thread asking whether I should pick a Mercenary or Sorcerer for a ranged DPS/Healing class and I've narrowed it down to Mercenary. But now, another advanced class caught my interest. The Operative. And, I know that Operative DPS has some melee characteristics, but the 2 classes are very similar in regard to what they do. So, as usual, I can't decide and need to ask other people what they think. So, what do you think? Which is more fun to play? Which does more DPS? Which does more healing? Better storyline? Please let me know and thanks.
  8. Hello, I've been playing SWTOR for quite some time. I originally chose to go ranged DPS, but it didn't work out so well for me, so I switched to melee. I'm not saying anything is wrong with melee, it's great and fun except for those times where you get destroyed because you got too close to the enemy's team. So, that said, I am looking for a ranged DPS class that does a little bit of healing besides doing DPS. So, I've narrowed it down to 2 classes. Mercenary and Sorcerer. I want to know from you guys: Which is more fun to play? Which does more DPS? Which one does more healing? Which has a better storyline? (Irrelevant question but I took the opportunity to ask while I am here.) And please, dont say anything melee because I already have a Level 60 Juggernaut. Anyways, thank you. (If you want to quest, or do Ops/FP's I am on The Bastion Server. Main Character Name: Arceos.)
  9. Hi. I wanted to post this because I had a question mainly about PvP. I have a lvl 55 Marauder (Carnage specced), and I always keep dying in PvP because I always get raped by a stealther along the way to my objective (mainly Assassin). So, I wanted to know, between the 2 specs, Carnage: (which I'm pretty sure is PvP based.), and Deception:(which I'm almost positive is PvP based), which generally puts out higher numbers of damage? Which one has more survivability and dies less? Which one is easier to play? Please Let me know. Thanks! 10. Hi. I wanted some people's advice on this. You see, I just finished leveling my 2nd lvl 55 toon ( a Marauder aside from a Jugg.) and I am turning back to my 2 Inquisitor classes. I have a lvl 33 Sorc. which I haven't tried leveling since patch 2.0, and I am working on a lvl 26 Assassin. My questions are: Which is better for a burst type DPS that puts out high numbers in PvP? Should I just delete one and forget about him or try leveling both? Please let me know. Thanks. Lukarios: Level 55 Sith Marauder: The Bastion Drexxius: Level 55 Sith Juggernaut: The Bastion
  11. Hi. I think that for the characters in the game, they should be able to choose whether they want their hood up or down on their chestgear because there are SO MANY armor sets in the game that would look totally amazing with the hood on, but no, it just has to stay down. Please change this. I hope that the SWTOR Team hears me out. Thanks.
  12. Yes. A lot of people still do.
  13. Hi. I think it would be a good idea to be able to transfer commendations ( Ultimate, Elite, Warzone, etc.) between characters so that you can be able to gear up faster and better. Just a suggestion
  14. Hi. I want to post this because I think that the current level 55 gear sets in the game look kind of ugly (no hard feelings, SWTOR). These include: Obroan, Oriconian, Dread Forged, Arkanian, Kell Dragon, etc. I don't think that these look good and I want to add the old level 50 gear sets back into the game. These include: Rakata, Centurion, Battlemaster, Xenotech, Champion, Columi and Tionese. Most of these were gone after patch 2.0 dropped and since it's been replaced with the new level 55 gear. All the gear just doesn't look good anymore. And I'm not asking to take out the level 55 gear, just add the old level 50 gear on top of it. I hope the development team hears me out on this one. Thanks.
