  1. Please add more faces and hair to the market. Especially faces; and especially faces that could be from various ethnic backgrounds, not just European-style faces (as most games do). I'd be happy to pay for more faces and hairs.
  2. I'm not talking about more "space shooters", but to open up space in a more PVE sense, with free-flight capabilities allowing you to go where you want to go, in a ship of your own custom design. How cool would it be to salvage wreckage from big space battles, smuggle artifacts from Korriban, or explore new areas? In a way, I actually agree with you in that the game doesn't really need anymore combat-based content.
  3. I hear what most of you are saying; that open space probably won't happen...a nice compromise would be to have more missions, even non-combat, in space. Maybe a smuggler mini-game or something! I think the biggest thing is having the leveling rallying option for players - - to connect your player base would really help solidify it.
  4. Space should be something that should be traveled in; not just points on a map where you click and then "poof" you're there, but a living, dynamic place that hosts its own store of dangers and adventures. In practice, it would look somewhat similar to Star Trek Online's space travel, but with Bioware's own twist on it - - yes, it would be sort of "co-opting" something from another game, but if Blizzard can practically steal and perfect IPs and gameplay from other MMO's, why not Bioware? Here's the bullet points: --Open Space: where we travel about and can encounter random zones, GSF battles, and many adventures that include smuggling, ship scavenging, rescue, exploration, and probably more ideas that I can't think of. Plus, this gives Smugglers something to do in-line with, well, smuggling. With new space missions, we can travel about space in a sandbox environment, do cool space missions, and never leave our ship if we don't want to. --Customizable Ships: that we can decorate just like our fortresses, letting us travel about in space as we want to be seen. There can be plenty of models available, with tons of customization options. We no longer have to be stuck with whatever ship the game forced on us. My agent would never travel around in such a flashy ship like the Phantom class model, and would instead want something innocuous, like some dumpy freighter so as to not attract so much attention. Also, the GSF star fighter ships are amazing - - maybe we should have the option to be able to travel around Free Space with them instead of our personal ships, with a chosen companion in our gunner seat, just like Luke Skywalker in his X-Wing. --Open Planets: planets are now open to all factions and we can even team up with members of the opposing faction if we wish. How cool would it be as a dark side Jedi to team up with your friends and help them on their missions, even if they're on the other faction? Which leads me to my next point... --Level Rallying System; hate outleveling your friends? Want to take part in a low level guild members exploits? With the level rallying system, you can always play with your friends and get the xp/cash equivalent that you would normally get at your real level. I've seen this done in City of Heroes, where you the leader of the groups sets the group level, but Guild Wars 2 has adventure areas that will cap your level at the highest level for that zone. You keep all your gear and abilities, but they get nerfed down to the appropriate level. With this, you can go back and enjoy some planets and 2man/4man heroics that you really liked. Plus, if you have this option and it rewarded Basic Commendations for level 55's, you can essentially have the entire galaxy map be level 50-55 areas where we can grind for commendations on our favorite planets, and you (Bioware) really didn't have to release new zones to do so. --Non-Combat: Part of what makes an MMO great and stand apart from other game genres is the immersion that it offers. Often times, MMORPG's focus waaaay too much on the combat, and not enough on some of the cool non-combat that can really draw a player into the world. How about Sabacc games in cantinas, where we can play against other players for big prizes? There can even be a monthly big tournament on Nar Shadda for some big payouts and exclusive loot. Star Wars is ripe with images of smoky cantinas with rogues playing card games...how bout we have that in SWTOR? Also, swoop bike/pod racing circuits! --Switch Character Builds: We should be able to switch our builds, depending on class, from DPS to heals, Tank to DPS, and so forth as the situation merits. I don't see any reason to be fixed into a combat roll. I really do enjoy this game, and it is turning into something that has, in my opinion, far surpassed the films in terms of story. These are just suggestions, and I really think they would help give the game a new dimension. What do you guys think? Is it possible? Would it help the game? Hope a Dev sees this.
  5. Kaleesh. Those guys are so cool. I want a bone-face mask!
  6. I quit about 2 months in due to really, really, really bad performance issues.10-12 FPS maximum, with all the graphics turned down and cores unparked. Even a lot people with very nice gaming rigs were having issues. It seems a lot of people left for that reason, too. Besides the optimization/performance issues, I found the game excellent and refreshing. If they ever get around to fixing it, I'd love to give it another shot.
  7. This is a great idea; as I try to recruit from my RP guild, it'd be nice to have an "extra tell" to let me know what a player is about. Yes, it's not perfect, but it helps. I remember EQ1 had a /roleplay command that would color your name purple in the game.
  8. The Bloodhawks have a website: www.bloodhawks.shivtr.com
  9. Liberty. Honor. Justice. *** http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa406/bmosley45/150x150hawkicon.jpg The Bloodhawks Ord Mantell's finest militia and freedom fighters! Named after the hunting hawks that were tamed by the first Corellian settlers on the Ord Mantell, we fight for the sovereignty of our homeworld and against the tyranny of evil regimes and criminal organizations all across the galaxy; slavers, Hutts, the Empire...we're coming for you! For now, we pursue a tentative alliance with the Republic; although the corrupt Republic Senate is to not be trusted, a temporary partnership with them would allow us really take the fight to the Empire and keep Ord Mantell free. Once this war with the Empire is over, we'd like keep Ord Mantell out of galactic politics. Check us out online: www.bloodhawks.shivtr.com ((Some OOC Points of Interest: 1) Good aligned RP, Jedis are more than welcome. Our theme is part militia, part mercenary unit with a "conscience". Think a mix of "A-Team in space" with a little bit Robin Hood and his Merry Men. 2) We are seeking mature, articulate, and active players who have a relaxed approach to gaming. We are not a super serious guild, but eventually, as we grow, I'd like to see the Hawks getting into raids, Galactic Starfighter runs, and 55 heroics running regularly). 3) We do have a naming policy, but that is as about as strict as we get. No Chet Awesomelazors or anything like that. Please have name that you would find in the Star Wars universe. We are RP guild. 4) Check out our website or contact Jhett, Teleura, or Kingett in game to set up an interview ))
  10. Guild: The Bloodhawks Guild Master: Jhett Officers: Kingett, Teleura Active Accounts: 16 Website: http://www.bloodhawks.shivtr.com The Bloodhawks are a mix mercenaries and militia (and even the few odd Jedi) from Ord Mantell who are essentially pro-Repbulic...for now. We fight for the sovereignty and freedom of Ord Mantell, but acknowledge that the best way to do that is to temporarily side with the Republic - - we will help fight in the war, but after the dust has settled, we would see Ord Mantell stay neutral and out of future conflicts. As a Bloodhawk, you're a gun for hire and a Mantellian Patriot who loves his/her home planet and upholds the simple ideals of Freedom, Justice, and Honor (think the "scoundrel with heart of gold" and tied to a planet). If this guild sounds like your cup of tea, please contact Jhett ingame or via ingame mail. I'm looking for people to help me grow the guild and attract like minded people. The Bloodhawks are very new and a very small guild that is looking to grow! We're a RP/PVE guild that has plans on really delving into Galactic Starfighter and, eventually, Operations. Please, no "Awesomelazor69's" or "HaxxorElite" names. You don't have to necessarily join in RP, but please have a name that could possibly be seen in the Star Wars universe. Call signs are cool, too. I'm looking for quality over quantity; mature, articulate players who want a light-RP, very laid back environment to hang out in. No drama. Just fun. See you in game!
  11. This is a fantastic idea and one that I've held for a long time! I'd love to see an Open Space option (more like Star Trek Online, in lot of ways) for us to fully experience the Star Wars galaxy, complete with: 1) More personal ships that are fully customizable both inside and out. 2) Space missions - - discovery/exploration, smuggling/legal transport, blockade running, salvaging wrecks from previous battles, etc. 3) The option to travel around in your Starfighter instead of your personal ship, like Luke does in his X-Wing fighter. Also, a brief aside from the Space Missions; gambling and Pazaak tables! After finishing a smuggling run, I'd love to pull up a seat in shady cantina and play against other players for credits/items - - kind of like a cool Poker mini-game. It would also be cool to have monthly big tournaments on Nar Shadda, with big prizes! Some more non-combat things in the game would really help flesh out the galaxy and help with immersion into the world. Really looking forward to the Guild flagship features!
  12. I'd like to see more war, too. -- A "level down" option like in City of Heroes (RIP) and in Guild Wars 2, where you level down to the max level appropriate for the content in the area OR level down to whomever is leading the group; that way you can always play with your friends and never worry about out leveling them. You'd even get rewards appropriate for your actual level despite being "de-leveled" to group with your friends. --A Mac client. I have both Mac and Windows, but most people I know have Macs and would love to play the game... -- More character story/plot lines. That was the best part of the game, and I'd like to see more what happens to my Agent and Smugger. --Open space, a la' Star Trek Online. Smuggling missions. Blockade Running. Explore space. More ships that we can travel around in, and an ability to easily get on other player's ships. --guild instancing and housing would be cool, too.
