Someone online told me to go with biochem bioanalysis and diplomacy, and he makes a good argument. does synthweaving give me as much healing bonuses as biochem would. are there other places to get plane robes? I hate choices. Does synthweaving give me more stat boosts and does it have clothes i cant find other places.

Yeah, that is what I have noticed. The higher level players look lame. What do you mean by 2.0? So I can't get a purple saber in this game? Or I can only get it through drops? So far it sounds like Synth is better, though it's almost tempting to choose something that isn't synth or artifice.

I don't know which one to choose. Really what I want is just some standard jedi robes (like bland brown robes like the ones Obi Wan has in a New Hope) and a purple lightsaber. I'm assuming you can get both of those things without these but I don't know. That said, I will probably get bored of the blank robes, but I tend to dislike stuff that is too flashy. Which has better boosts for DPS and healing? Which would fit in the middle as I would rather be between DPS and healing. Also, I would prefer a steady income with scavenging type stuff. I have NO IDEA what to pick there. HELP! haha, thanks P.S. I'm pretty sure I am going to be a healer if that is important.

ok I guess I will just make a alt account for slicing, though I must say it's frusterating as mako is good at slicing... that said, couldn't i just make an alt account for scavenging and m,ake my main for slicing?

I'm a level 24 and just getting into Crew Skills (I know, a bit late). I'm trying to decide whether or not I should choose slicing as it is apparently a good money maker and Mako has +15 slicing. Currently I have armortech, underworld trading, and investigation (I think). All of them are at around level 30/400. My main concern is that I won't be able to make armor with armortech if I do slicing, but I'm assuming I can just buy the components I need out of the galactic trade market for underworld trading or investigation (whatever skill I would be replacing). Is that true? What do you recommend?
