  1. Over on the WoW Forums, one of the CM's had compiled a list of all the 'Game is Dead' reasons since day 1 of launch. It was quite extensive. Wish I had done it here back at day 1, it would have been funny.
  2. What you feel you are entitled to and reality, are two different things entirely. When this game went F2P the idea of subscribers getting anything new for free went out the window. The only way F2P works is to get people to spend moneym, otherwise the game goes the way of City of Heroes and such. You get plenty for your subscription - Unlimited instanced content, access to cargo hold, full XP, Rested XP, 3-4 times as many character slots as F2P. I could go on and on., but I won't It is only in your mind that you are entitled to anything beyond what Bioware has already told you (on the subscription page) you would receive for your $15 a month.
  3. Go to the movies and tell them you paid your ticket the popcorn should be free and see how far you get Go to dinner and pay for your dinner and tell them Dessert should be free and see how far you get You are told CLEARLY what a subscription provides. Anything else is OPTIONAL and you are not entitled to any fo it
  4. I pre-ordered the game and have played since EGA. I more than got my $60 worth. The game went F2P. When that happened, nothing changed for me. I still had access to all my characters, their gear, their pets, etc. I could run all the Warzones, Flashpoints, and Operations I wanted, as I always did. My friends, who went F2P couldn;t. They had to sped CC to get access to artifacts, they earned less XP than I did, they had a limit on their credits, and on how much instanced content they could run The whining about what subscribers are owed is like going to a restaurant and ordering your dinner and yelling that DESSERT was not provided free as part of your meal. You are not entitled to anything that Bioware creates as new content for free just because you pay your $15 a month. That $15 gets you alot of things that a F2P doesn;t. Don;t believe me, try playing as F2P for a month and see the difference
  5. Did they stop running the game? Do they charge CC to play the game? Do they limit you to 2-3 character slots? Last i checked, you were able to log into your any of your characters and play the game. Do you need to pay CC to unlock and use all your fancy purple gear? No? F2P players do. Do you have a limit on the number of Warzones, Operations, and Flashpoints you can do each week? No? F2P players do. Do you have to pay CC to get sprint early? Or your Speeder? Or have a cut off on how many Credits your character has access to? No? F2P players do. Do you get rested XP or have an XP penalty? No? F2P players do Get over yourself. You pay a subscription and get alot for it. It doe snot entitle you to EVERYTHING they release for the game to be free for you. Customization beyond what the character creation process provides is OPTIONAL. You don;t want to pay CC for it, don;t use it. Simple as that. Your subscription doe snot entitle you to free XPacs, Races, Race Changes, or anything else beyond what it states on the main page of what you get for a subscription. Your complaining is not at all valid and is equivalent to a 4 year old screaming in the food store about how they want candy.
  6. Those same trooper you are putting down killed EVERY SINGLE JEDI in the Galaxy, except for Yoda and Obi-wan, and they had to go into hiding to keep it from happening. And there is supposed to be ONLY TWO Sith, never more, never less, as Yoda says, so, by your logic, the Imperial side should have only two, one master, one apprentice. This is a game. A game LOTS of people play. You need balance so the game is FAIR. I play a Jedi as my main, and am glad my smuggler and trroper comrades are as effective as the Jedi next to me in a combat.
  7. The flaw in your logic is you state Story Mode is for those who do not want to play competetively, then argue that the game is competetive and therefore should have combat logs. If the logs you want are implemented, they would be used in Story Mode as wlel and be used in the abusive ways they have in past MMO's If you are playing this game competetively as you imply, then you are doing HArd and NIghtmare modes, in a guild. Therefore the parsed logs can be shared with the raid leader easily. You are gettign what you are asking for, just not as a meter that can be posted in game. Deal with it.
  8. Competitive? This is an MMO. A VIDEO GAME. Something done for recreation and enjoyment. You want competition go play sports or something. We do not need the infamous "Onyxia Wipe Video" guy in SWTOR. People do not WANT Ops Leaders 'helping' them, as it usually ends up being blame and unmerited kicking from runs. What Bioware is implementing is fine. You get killed, you can see your mistake. You need a parsed combat log, its saved to your hard drive to review so you can improve yourself.
  9. Seriously? They said it is coming in 1.3. If they keep the same pace, thats 3 months away. Geeze will you people complain about anything.
  10. OMG. And if this was allowed in group content everyone would be screaming how it breaks everything. How unfair it is in PVP. They limited it to when your companion is available because it is a Quality of Life PERK. Geesh
  11. Pay no attention to the arrogance of the people who usually post on these forums. It seems your problems stem not from not wanting to do the Flashpoints, but from having gotten stuck with horrible people the times you have tried them. Sorry your experience with the Multiplayer aspect of this game has been colored by a few childish and annoying people. Unfortunately, they show up in every game. I'd offer you the advice of trying to find a guild of people to hang with. Most won;t mind if you just lurk and never say anything. Spend that time getting to know some of the people, even if you never say anything. You might find some people you get interested in grouping with. I'd invite you to join my guild, but you are obviously on a different server as you mention an RP server and mine is PVE. Best advice I can give is to either resolve yourself to rolling a new character or trying to find some people you might be interested in doing the group content with.
  12. People keep saying this, but what I cannot understand is what they mean. I played WoW for 7+ years. I'm 50 in SWTOR and doing the same things here I was there at 60, 70, 80, and 85. Heroic Instances, Raids, PVP, and alts. I played DDO, CO, AOC, DCUO, STO, and an host of other MMO's and its all the same at endgame.
  13. Only thing I find funny is your post. The game is successful and you and your gang of venom posters can't take it. People are enjoying the game and are patient enough to let them fix the bugs and you don;t like it. The only one trying to put a spin on anything are you and your fellow haters Does the game have problems? Yes Are those problems being addressed? Yes
  14. You mention the Empire in the movies. You mean the Human's only Empire, where an entire planet was destroyed simply as a demonstration? An Empire founded on the blood of the casualties of a war started simply to put one man in power and ended with the slaughter not only of 100s of Jedi Knights but children? An Empire where one person kills people to death? An Empire where 'Fear will keep the local systems in line"? Face it, The Empire of the Movies was an over the top evil. This is what you agree to when you make an Imperial character. You support a regime that rules with an iron fist, enslaves those it wants, and destroys all who it feels are in its way.
  15. If complaints and "I Quit' messages on the forums were proof and the majority of opinions, then WoW would have been dead before WOTLK hit.
