  1. This excerpt is from the roadmap This is amazing!! Last year I had submitted this suggestion and it looks like they made it happen!! You Devs RULE!!!!!!! I don't care what Chuck & Brian say about y'all.
  2. I wasn't sure where the best place to post this. I logged in this morning to do conquest & claim some bounties & noticed Dark Project crafting was a thing & I am able to make many of them (clearly I hoard crafting materials). I made one & noticed that my conquest points were only 3000 (reward for crafting) & not 4,500 (I have the 150% stronghold bonus). does the Bonus only apply to specific conquest missions or is this a bug? I've included a link to my screen shot showing what I mean. luckily I only completed the crafting mission so the math in this case is easy.
  3. I went to Twitch.tv/swtor to watch the stream this morning but it will not play, just has a black screen. Is the Video not available for replay?
  4. I thought the NPC limit was removed from Strongholds some time ago. but while trying to decorate my Yavin Stronghold I got the "Limit of NPCs reached" message. Is this still a thing, and if it is, any chance it will finally go away with one of the new updates?
  5. With the United Forces update, the Leaderboards do not reflect the updated servers & I have noticed are not tracking (At least they do not show that they are tracking) games played Wins achieved, MVP Votes earned, Ect. When will this be updated & will games played be reflected once the update is completed?
  6. MY apologies, i just realized the time-stamps i am looking at are an hour behind my timezone. Still have 10 min left of maintenance. Sorry again for not catching that before i posted.
  7. I don't mean to be impatient, overbearing or a plain jerk, but this was posted over an 90 min ago. is there an update on the delay? I hope this will not be another 5.4 episode.
  8. The Culprits for the update issues were found!! It was sabotaged by Eric & Charles so they could get out of attending the Badfeeling Buvette on Belsavis. I hear Chuck & Brian are devastated.
  9. Since i made Keith Laugh, do i get a code?
  10. No, the Bots will get a change for a code.
  11. We're sorry to report that the Developers responsible for implementing the update have now been sacked. We regret to inform you that those developers responsible for sacking the developers responsible for implementing the update have also been sacked. Please Note: the sacking of developers responsible for sacking developers will continue until the patch is patched.
  12. I believe the "REAL" reason this "bug" is staying for a couple days is b/c Keith didn't want to have to take action against himself for knowingly using this CXP "exploit."
  13. Now I realize this was mostly a joke post; however, I wanted to throw out the idea that having a PVP option for our stronghold would be an EPIC idea. For those that are so inclined it could have an option to "Allow PVP," "Open for PVP," "Allow Invasions?" etc. just like there is an option to make a stronghold open to the public so others can tour & admire our decorating skills. I've actually given this idea quite a lot of thought & rather than post all the ideas here in this thread I've started a new one Here I'd love to hear from some Devs about this.
  14. I've given this idea quite some thought ever since Strongholds were 1st released. I honestly think there are so many possibilities here & I am going to list what ideas I've had. Also, for purposes of Example, I am going to be using the Yavin Stronghold whenever I need to go into to location detail. This is by NO means to be considered as the only use for these ideas as you can easily apply these ideas to whichever Stronghold you wish. 1. Free for all: just like arenas only 8v8. 2 teams go in (8 invaders & 8 defenders) and only 1 team wins once you are down you are out till the round is over. I think a 5 minute time limit will be fine because strongholds are so much larger than arenas. once the timer goes ends all doors lock & rooms fill with poison. 2. Capture / Defend Command Point: Both sides would have a command point. Attackers command point would be the Starship entry point where you access a Stronghold & Defenders command point would be a specific room (this would be a selectable option by the Stronghold owner). As an example, If the Defenders capture the Attackers Command Point & hold it for a set amount of time (i.e 90 seconds) defenders win & visa versa for attackers. This will be a ONE time run meaning both objectives are able to be captured at the same time. Spawn points are going to be important with this mode. As attackers clear an area they spawn closer (away from the ship) also defenders spawn farther away from the attackers command point, but closer to theirs. this however, did bring up an issue about how are areas determined? I think by area is best. by way of example, invading Yavin, area 1 is the front lawn of the temple. Attackers clear it & access the temple. Now attackers spawn at the temple door instead of the ship & defenders spawn at the balcony above instead of the door. then the attackers clear to the bridge, now attackers spawn at balcony (inside the temple) & defenders spawn in the courtyard (behind the 2 smaller temples). This is important because depending on where the command point is selected to be the defenders might end up spawning behind it & be out of position to defend allowing attackers to capture & hold. Also, it is possible for attackers to advance too far to be able to defend their command point if defenders sneak past them to capture theirs. now how does the system know you've reached a new area? Since doors are permanently opened once unlocked I think the best solution is an interactible Panel, terminal etc. should be used. I'll detail below my ideas about that also. 3. Capture the Flag: Huttball for Strongholds. but instead of only 1 flag both sides have one. 1st side to get the others flag & return to the starting point wins. These ideas also can include Decorations SPECIFIC for PVP & be required if the owner wishes to enable that feature for PVP. some deco ideas include (but not limited to): Interactive Door Panels: These Small Wall Hook decorations must be placed next to a doorway signifying a checkpoint Interactive Door Terminal: These Small Floor Hook decorations serve the same purpose as the Door Panels Flag: I chose to go generic with "flag" because honestly the name doesn't matter. Also the Custom Huttball could be used for this purpose. Command Consul/Computer: For the capture the Command point this deco could be used to Signify the actual area that needs to be captured & MUST be placed in the location that is flagged (an area cannot be flagged as a command point by the Stronghold owner unless this decoration is located in that area) Turrets: This could be something new, or enable the current interactible turrets to be used. The damage of the turrets should be equal to a whatever the current bolster level is. But why some may ask? because If you get a group of 4 healers & 4 tanks there should be something that can actually do damage. Heal Station: We already have them in Huttball, Voidstar, Novaracoast why not have a decoration that can be put in the Strongholds to make PVP more fun Crit Station: See above Powerup Stations: We have it in Odessan & Uprisings why not have a decoration that can be put in the Strongholds to make PVP more fun. these decorations could be sold from the PVP vendor, Stronghold Vendor, or a new vendor. Also you could implement a crafting option (like for door panels) This has so much potential. it eliminates the boredom of cookie cutter PVP matches because although the mode might be the same, each stronghold is differnet based on how the designer sets it up. Also it is COMPLETELY voluntary because ONLY the owner can choose to enable PVP mode & decorate accordingly.
