  1. Greetings! It's always been jarring to flip on my Heroic Moment ability and have Ep. 1 podrace music swell to the forefront of the scene. At its best, it can add some excitement to a mundane combat, but at worst, this decidedly non-epic music will override any currently playing combat music, such as climactic boss music, often undermining the best showdowns of the game. That latter possibility is especially vexing since boss battles constitute most of my use of that ability. Is there a possibility of replacing that music with a more appropriate set of tunes?
  2. I must say, the Smuggler truly got ripped off, Skavak style, with the title 'Butcher's Bane'. The fact that it has no significance to the Republic, or other players, and that it legitimately sounds worse than the 'Captain' title before tenth level, really discourages me. I also agree that it wouldn't take that much effort to have a leader of the Republic Privateers call you and give you the rank. The only potential problem with Admiral is that it implies a more militaristic standing than the Smuggler seems to entail. Though 'Butcher's Bane' sounds like a cooking show award, it's possible that something more crime-oriented might be better.
  3. Droid Technician: Under supervision of Lead Technician, qualified applicants will guide the assembly and programming of state-of-the-art droids. Requires a strong understanding of motivators, complex circuitry, and combat algorithms. Greetings, Czerka Corporation. To protect my own identity, I am simply known by Ralus Drake. I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't scrutinize too much over this... probing any further could be, well, 'greatly detrimental' to both of us. I'm here to apply for the position of Droid Technician in your organization. Trust me, with your resources and my skills, we could accomplish quite a bit. I used to be a slicer, but the Exchange stopped giving me my cut for my work, and I don't take kindly to being cheated. I feel my talents would be better suited for less... well, less shifty organization. The Exchange is pretty tough to get in good with, and the only reason I made it in was because of my slicing skills. I was one of the few who worked on the HK-series assassin droids. We implemented those droids with state-of-the-art combat systems and servos, plus quality adaptive programming. As a second accomplishment, I managed to intercept Republic military comm signals and decode the encryption, which is pretty tough to do, even with proper relay equipment. I also hacked into an Exchange database (after they cheated me) using self-coded algorithms and wrecked their systems. As for how I managed these, I certainly used the 'anything it takes' mindset, because my kind of tech work as a former slicer could be tedious and dangerous. You had to do what you had to do. Obviously, I know what I'm doing around technology, and this was also quite essential for achieving these things. I used to have morals. Then, I left my pampered haven on Corellia and took a look at the real galaxy. Throughout my years, I've learned that you won't last out here if you've got the galaxy divided up into 'good' and 'evil'- that kind of thinking is what almost got me killed. Finally, for your question about the... experiment... whatever it was, if it was even remotely useful, I would probably take advantage of the situation and remove the inevitable enemy that I would have made using the said experiment. Especially if it was tech-related, I would find my own uses for it. That's it for me, so hurry up and get to work hiring me, because I really need to get off Malachor...
  4. Often this type of thing depends on your Spec. Class: Sorcerer: Especially if you spec heals, make Khem defensive. Always go defense, and while he's drawing fire you can keep him healed and try and pick off the enemies. Assassin: If you're a very stealthy, DPS type guy, you might want to also spec Khem defensively, but make sure to pay attention to his attack. If you're a tank, go offensive with Khem. Hope this helps
  5. I believe that the balance has been maintained by Bioware pretty well, considering the diversity of classes. Unfortunately, Sith Warriors have a major advantage if they spec and gear right, along with Troopers.
  6. Bioware!!! Our Characters need more customization!!! For example, my Sith Inquisitor. In the new 1.2 Family tree, there needs to be a new customization option that allows characters to have wrinkles. I need my Inquisitor to be ancient and powerful!!! Please Bioware!!! Answer the call of the players!!!
  7. The Force is everything, binding the galaxy. Yet it also rips apart the galaxy with its different sides. Basically, it can be manipulated by Force Users. About its powers, basically they are all different aspects of the Force. Powers aren't like spells, they are the Force in different forms.
  8. From a different point of view, Vader is passionate and the chosen one. You can't deny that he has power and strength when he isn't blindly raging into a fight. Revan can coolly and tactically take down any enemy, a feat Vader really doesn't possess.
  9. Revan is so much better than Vader. Vader was turned by blind love and hate, while Revan willingly delved into every dark secret of the galaxy. Vader was beaten by a single Jedi. Revan slayed countless Jedi (arguably so did Vader, but not really alone) and raised the entire Sith Empire. He discovered and took over the Star Forge. Honestly, Vader was just a pawn in Sidious's plan, like Maul or Dooku. Revan, the Dark Lord of the Sith, all the way.
