  1. I'm an Assassin tank and I current have... 45.5k Health 24% Defense 56-57% Shield 46% Absorption It's definitely possible if you know how to gear yourself.
  2. Thanks guys. So I understand in the entirety of the fight the RW relic is best, but I think I've decided to use my DF Fortunate Redoubt, then switch between either Shrouded Crusader or Imperiling Serenity depending on the fight. I feel having an extra CD to pop on those "Oh crap" moments may be more useful for my Assassin than negating 1,300 dmg every 40 seconds. I do appreciate all the info you guys have given me! Tye
  3. So for an Assassin tank the Fortunate Redoubt and Reactive Warding are BiS? Is that a typo or is RW really a 40 second ICD?
  4. Hello, Can anyone tell me the BiS relics for an Assassin tank after they make the changes come 2.5? We won't be able to heal ourselves anymore, meaning the EM relic will be worthless. Also, there are some new relics available with the current 2.4 content. I'm fairly certain the Relic of Fortunate Redoubt will still be BiS, but I'm wondering what will replace the EM relic. Tyeshali
  5. Eric, you guys are still based out of Austin, right? Makes me wonder how often you spend your weekends on 6th street. Oh, and there are definitely multiple seasons in Texas. It snowed one year and I got to enjoy watching all these Texans fly off the road... haha. <~~~ Grew up near Philadelphia (lots of snow).
  6. They should also consider making Force Lightning (with three stacks) also immune to knock backs. I know it's about perfecting your play style, but there are so many bosses now that knock back so frequently they almost always interrupt our healing for Force lightning, which is suppose to be some of our biggest self-sustaining heals. Edit: Also, has there been any word since the initial comment from BioWare?
  7. I've been reading some of the posts but I haven't found a definite answer on whether Annihilation or Carnage does more damage. I know Carnage has the burst, and Annihilation does well in Operations, but I'm seeing good numbers on both. If you were BiS 72's does anybody know which will win out? I've been playing Annihilation for the past year, and I'm only now learning Carnage, and I actually enjoy both. I think the burst from Carnage will be better on some of the newer NiM content, especially if I can sustain throughout the fight. Tye
  8. As far as lore is considered, can someone please tell me why the $#^& there's a floating datacron around Sith Assassins?
  9. Does the relic priority change with the upcoming buff in the next patch? Being able to stack two of the same relics and get individual procs from each sounds nice. If it does change, what'll be the best setup for an assassin and Jugg tank? Thanks in advance.
  10. I'm confused... Does standing at a certain point from the boss increase or reduce the amount of threat each attach does? I've only been tanking since 2.0, but If this is true, I wasn't aware of it. Is there another thread elsewhere on here that shows more details on this?
  11. Thanks again. I do believe I have a passive Defense PvP relic hiding somewhere in my Cargo Hold, but if not, I'll go with the Shield/Absorb on-use relic. A more preferred idea would be for BioWare to fix Sin tanks and let me stay on my BiS (72's) assassin for progression.
  12. Thanks Kitru. I'm not doubting you, but I thought I read elsewhere from either you or KBN that the Shield/Abs relic was horrible for all tanks? Maybe I read it incorrectly?
  13. Hahaha, thanks. Honestly, I still prefer my Sin over any other tank. Absolutely love the class and play style. Unfortunately, for NiM TFB (and soon) NiM S&V, I want to reduce the RNG of one-two shotting my tank on certain fights. Although my sin is BiS, I figured I might as well gear up my Jugg and see if I can reduce the spike damage for our nightmare progression content.
  14. I apologize in advance since I'm pretty good at understanding these types of post. I've recently decided to switch from my Sin over to a Jugg until BioWare decides to fix the spike damage assassin's take. That being said, I'm trying to understand what the BiS relics are for Jugg tanks. Could I get a quick and dirty answer? Much appreciated.
