  1. At 23 i was broke and realized i needed to start saving, when i hit 25 i had almost 80k, and this was from questing only, so dont worry, it'll be fine.
  2. Not gonna be a problem really, since all other profs than biochem sucks, everyone is gonna go biochem and voila, all balanced and fine
  3. Sending out companions on gathering skill mission almost always result in a loss, no matter wich gathering skill it is, slicing included. And slicing is just that, a gathering skill, as in your supposed to find nodes and only send companions on missions occasionally if there is something specific you need. Slicing is NOT a mission skill, sending companions out on missions is NOT its primary objective. However, even after the nerf, doing so will net you a small profit, so you can skill it to 400 without losing a single credit still.
  4. Got an orange belt for my sith warrior on the gtn for 300 creds, required lvl 12 unmodded, not seen any wrists though.
  5. I have been trying to sell both blue and purple aim/cunning barrels, mid 20s, but they dont sell, nor does purple light/medium armor, i end up equipping them on my companions after ive tried to sell them at standard price (loss compared to mats needed) 5-10 times on the gtn :/
  6. Hmm, that seems strange, why would anyone fancy crafting when its pointless? really a great shame, i love crafting and usually im a dedicated crafter in mmo's but this might just be the first mmo i wont be, very sad to say
  7. So, what really is the point with armor/weapon/mod crafting? There is orange gear readily available from many different aspects of the game, modding these will net you better gear then the crafted stuff, so for a while ive instead of making the gear, focused on making mods, but start to realize that mods are easily accessed through vendors, making crafting those a bit pointless aswell. So the real question, is the crafting ever going to be useful? Seems biochem and slicing is the only ones that might actually be somewhat useful. Is it the same on high levels? Im only at about 250 at SW/AT/CT so i have some hope that it will be more useful later on.
  8. and this is a good thing from a no effort click of a button? I agree with previous posters, stop being lazy and go find some nodes.
  9. I am in favor of the slicing nerf, not because it yielded too much money, but because it was too easy to make the money. Slicing is a gathering skill and should be treated as such. Then again, the nerf may have been done in the wrong way, nerfing the profit instead of making us actually have to work some for the credits. But one thing that bothers me is that people are saying that the slicing nerf brought down the economy and want it undone because of it. Do you really think that one proffession should be responsible for the whole games economy? That slicers should be able to just click their way to credits so they can buy the things the other professions have to put some work and effort into making? Then whats the point of the other proffessions if you can take up slicing and just buy everyting you need effortlessly? But yet again i agree, the nerf was too much at once, it should have been done over time, but a nerf really had to be done.

    Matchmaking

I just played a couple of games of pvp with my newbie toon at lvl 11. We had in one of the games a major level differense between the teams, and i mean major. The average lvl of our side was 19, and the average level of the opposing team was 41. So my obvious question, is it supposed to be like this? there is no chance on earth that the lower leveled team will win, this seems very strange to me but maybe i just dont get it. Any ideas/explanations on this? Thanks
  11. When are people going realize that this nerf was needed? For the good of the game, it has to be done. So stop whining and realize that slicing is a gathering skill and not a mission skill! You have nodes in the world to gather, and still get crew missions/schematics and items from sending your companions out. So the only difference now is that you actually have to put some effort into it! Just like everyone else with a GATHERING skill. It should have been this way from release imo, so just be happy that you got a headstart, accept it and move on. And btw, do feel free to drop it, you wont have any more luck with any other gathering skill.
  12. Actually, all companions have random statements when returning from missions, they do say "sorry" even though they get a crit, bit wierd i agree. But i dont really find it annoying.
  13. I agree with wanting to be able to search for a specific item name without having to use a bunch of filters, but other than that, i think the GTN is fine, no need to be able to post auctions, its not an auction house, and it is simple to use, people are just too lazy to actually learn to use it. If i see the GTN get WoWified i will rage.
