  1. Besides the Pillars not breaking his shield and the random floor disappearance he is working as intended. Bring Tank and off-Tank in DPS gear. Taunt after he casts mind trap. After DPS phase move him to the center and wait for the next pillar while group DPS's mind traps.
  2. We got HM SOA on first attempt. Used a 2nd Tank to help taunt to get him in possition in P3. Only missed 1 pillar and all of the pillars that hit broke his shield. RNG was in our favor tonight. After DPS phase bing him back to the center and wait for next pillar while group dps's mind traps. Taunt after he cast mind trap to regain aggro.
  3. Debuff is applied to the people attacking someone else target or healing someone that is in combat.
  4. 1 heal or 1 damage ability every 60 seconds, but once the 1st Member is down, he can heal him to full before he starts attacking the 2nd council member.
  5. If your complaining now just wait until Karragas Palace and you get knocked into the acid on the first boss. Or you get thrown in the air on SOA during transition. No Soup (loot) for you.
  6. centurion is equivlent to tionese champion to columni battlemaster to rakata If you PVP in PVE gear you will not kill people as fast and die faster (no expertise) If you PVE in PVP gear you will not kill monsters as fast and die faster (less stats and endurance) But wearing purples is better than wearing blues or greens. Replace with the needed gear when possible.
  7. Expertise = pvp pvp and pve don't count towards the same set bonus's.
  8. Yes sit's down and twiddles his thumbs. We have not tried it in HM as our HM people can all kill their council members. We just had a fresh lvl50 healer (like 1 hour) that was having problems. So we had our top DPS kill one of the 40k HP members and then the 20k HP member (normal) when he would normally be killing the Jug with has 80k. He finished both off before some of the other people finished 1. It would probably work on HM, but he would have to be doing massive DPS. And with the 1 min debuff the rest of the raid could help as needed. Something else to try (have not done this) is have your healer pick him up at the beginning, everyone get their 1 shot off, then go kill their assigned council members (by then the debuff would be gone) and then everyone get a second shot on the healers if time allows. Just food for thought.
  9. If 1 person dies, but his council member is low everyone can do their most powerful attack and still have a chance to kill him. (also the debuff is for 1 min, so if you use your attack right away, it is possible to get a second attack in before they reset) Also if your healer is having problems killing Jael and you have a dps that is smoking his council member you can have the healer sit out and have the your fastest dps kill their member then go kill Jael. Your healer will still be able to loot.
  10. We spent 6 hours on HM SOA last Saterday. Mastered all the transitions and was able to get him down to 32k with 1 tank. I think we will be running him with a Main tank and Off-tank in DPS gear for him this week. Good Luck everyone.

  12. I think the money would be in making the StimPack, since they persist through death and they would only need 3-4 a night for raiding.
  13. So even though they dropped the BioChem requirement and made them BOE the Exo and Energized items are not reusable? Guess I won't be dropping biochem just yet. Hard Core raiders that don't have BioChem may still pay for them, after all what else are they going to spend their millions of credits on, but hard core raiders already have biochem.
