  1. Yes, lets. Force eating assassin that grows to respect you and sacrifices himself to save you. Becomes semi-possessed by your ex-master who now is willing to work with you to find a way to free her. An ex-pirate who grows to find a bit of a kindred spirit in you and just wants to fly. Respects only freedom and those who seize what they want. Delusional ex-Jedi that begins to think of you as her sparkly vampire... did I mention she's delusional? Academic who wants to be Indiana Jones, but doesn't quite have what it takes, willingly joins you to seak adventure and artifacts. Probably hopes to interview all your ghosts. Murdering apprentice who follows you out of fear, respect, hunger, and personal desire. Likely to be completely loyal as long as you treat him decently and train him to be as powerful as you are.... so teaching him to cheat and wait on deus ex machina interventions... The only companion I worry about trying to kill me in my sleep is Buttkissing Droid. Have you listened to how tightly wound he is? We're talking Glen Close in Fatal Attraction levels of tightly wound. Yeah, she is. All her combat taunts reflect her Jedi heritage and how much she wants to cling to them. Her mission acceptance line isn't "Yes master", it's "If this will further our goals"... "Our goals"? No. They are my goals, she has no say in them nor should she be questioning them, ever. Yes. There was zero reasons I'd have taken her and actual reasons I'd gut her like a fish after she swore to obey me, and then began failing to do so.
  2. The Sorcerer robe isn't bad either. I'll try to get a screen shot and post in the next day or two.
  3. Any chance you remember which ones give negative affection to Ashara? I'm trying to drive her to -10,000 and an help is appreciated.
  4. I'm still working the numbers... however... Two of my Companions have Affection over 6K. These two have a roughly 50% crit rate and less than a 10% failure rate. Two others are merely positive (less than 1K Affection), their crit rates are roughly 20% and failure rate is 20%. Shipbot is crit chance is roughly 10%, fail rate 30%. My final Companion has negative Affection (2 points) and the same as the two whom are merely positive (though the numbers suggest this companion actually fails less). I haven't run enough missions to publish the statistics yet, but when I've got enough recorded runs for each companion I will.
  5. I know. I refuse to be someone's sparkly vampire. So I ignore her whilst hunting for ways to quickly lower her affection. I'm aiming for -10,000...
  6. I do. It's not my Primary self healing route, but every little bit while burning down foes is less time I spend after combat healing. It is but one of many tools in my toolbox and one of it's purposes isn't working as described.
  7. Exactly. Even if it was just me buying a droid to fill a combat role.
  8. I play a Madness Sorc (3/7/31), I roll with Andronikus, and I rarely have problems unless I'm facing a large group of Strongs (4+), or multiple Elites and Strongs. Always lead with Deathfield. If you are rolling with Khen this means any melee foes will get "target rich paralysis" where they run at you, then spin around and run at Khem. It's aggro ping-pong. Ranged foes will just shoot the hell out of you, then target Khem once his area taunt goes off. Follow by WW the strongest foe (if they are all weak, or you know you can handle them, don't bother). Make sure you've turned Khem's AoE attacks off (losing Consume Essence very much weakens Khem, but you can trigger it manually if you think it's necesary). Follow with your DoTs and direct damage attacks. Keep an eye on Khem's health, Bubble him and Heal him when necessary. You will likely take much less damage than I do. But me and Andi can burn through a pack of at level Strongs very quickly. Final note: Double check Khem's gear. If he ins't in oranges by your mid thirties, get a move on it and kit him out properly. You can easily double his sats with good insets for orange gear. Also, keep your eye for Khem's ornage Vibrosword, it's a quest reward at some point. From what I can tell all the companion's (except Shipbot) get orange weapons.
  9. What do you think the thread's response would be when they say "There are no plans to change Ashara in any way"? Which is the only response your going to get on this issue.
  10. The problem is my character would never do that. I literally have no option for long term romance aside from the cultist. Which I'm fine with, as that semi-****/Stockholm Syndromed relationship is the only one I think he'd bother maintaining.
  11. If you want her to make sense you have to realize she is delusional. Any personal conversation you have with her is not what you are actually saying, it's just what she is imagining. You are her sparkly vampire and she is quite insane.
  12. I had the same problem. Unfortunately there is only one work around: Reset the quest. I don't remember how far back it sets you ( I think it was to the immediately prior portion of the quest) but it cleared it right up for me. [/EDIT] Nevermind. I just realized you've already reset it one step. Maybe try resetting it, then resetting it again?
  13. The Tulak Hord quest is after the Veshikk Urk Quest. I didn't get the last part of the VU quest until I was on Tatooine. However I then got Andy... so I stuck Khem on the ship. I just started grinding up his affection. I'm past Hoth (technically I'm level 50 and on the Corellia class quests), have gotten him over 6K, and just got the second part of the Tulak Hord quest.
  14. Seriously? It's not a bug. The writters thought was a stellar "romance", nothing you do will ever change their mind.
