  1. I would say that post 1.2 Mara/Send did take some skill. I made one before the fotm because a really good one kept owning me in a warzone and I wanted to check it out. I learned the class and was pwning people , it was my first 50. I didn't really feel powerful until the 40's when you get guarded by the force and invis escape thing. I even took ravage off my skill bar because the damage was a joke and it always got interrupted. After 1.2 even low levels are pwning. Just wait till they are stunned (which is all the time) ravage and profit.
  2. 15 to 30 second delay would eliminate any advantage of spectators, this could work.
  3. To avoid cheating how about more rewards for opening your game to the spectator arena so ranked teams would want to do it and would also know the risks of doing so. It's not really hard to figure out where the ball is, only thing maybe is keeping track of players and tipping off if a stealth is in your endzone, which they would only know if they were counting players and couldnt find one really.
  4. Couldn't agree more! Had a game the other night where a Sage healer took the cash. He had 0 expertise. When asked him about it he said "I guess you don't want my heals then" I told him "your not going to be able to heal" He did 38k heals, we lost. Selfish and inconsiderate IMO
  5. Well it is most definitely a gear issue to imply otherwise is dishonest in my opinion. I do have full BM so I have played some just not any lately. Before WH became readily available I had no problems at all. Recruit to BM wasn't great but it wasn't as bad as BM to Augmented WH. I just pvp really, not into pve so credits are a concern. It's just a shame because I was having fun and I'm just not sure it's worth the effort, which is more of a concern for the game in general than for whether I continue to play or not, because I would if it wasnt such a painful grind. I know maybe it's not the game for me. I don't mind gear progression just think its a little out of hand here, and you gotta augment now which requires money which I dont have so...
  6. I am full Battlemaster just did two warzones where most everyone on the enemy team had 4k to 8k more health than me. Obviously mostly all augmented Warhero. I don't mind a challenge but seriously the gap is to great and the pvp is not fun. 10-49 is alot of fun. This mess has to change. Honestly do most people feel that this is good game design?
  7. Same scenario here is my point. That ranked gear and ESCPECIALLY the weapons were far superior. In this thread I believe we are talking about the casual player. Can't recall how many times in WOW You get stomped by the arena people screwing around in BG's. Then they made it available to everyone for honor before cataclysm and boom overnight I was a force to be reckoned with. Same situation here, geared hardcore owning casuals. Just like WOW. WOW is ok with the BOA twinks owning noobs and Arena ranked owning casuals. For me this would keep me paying a sub, which is what Bioware should consider. Who do they have more of hardcore 6 hour a night grinders or 1 or 2 hour a night casuals.
  8. Little information missing here? How many hours a night did you play, how many ops GTN trading did you do to afford fully augmenting your gear, how much time invested crafting. Add that together and I'm sure you don't fall into the casual crowd for which this thread is for. Those people who enjoy pvp leveling up but won't continue because of the gear grind, that ultimately hurts everyone, unless you like free to play games. This game has a huge crowd that liked Star Wars but not necessarily into the whole mmo paradigm. It will not have the lasting power of WOW if they simply copy the way they do things at end game.
  9. They can and they should normalize it or pretty soon your gonna lose your casual base and then what? Make it fun in normals, make RWZ about the min maxers.

  11. Ah sarcasm, gotta love it! Good point though, another thread about equalizing stats in the normal warzones would solve the issue you ate bringing up here.
  12. Love this idea! They should move away from the WOW end game pvp model where once you get behind on gear your screwed.

  14. This is a question Bioware should ask themselves. Do they want the PVP only crowd to keep playing or not. If so make it viable for them. I assume they are doing this for money otherwise they would have created something new and risky instead of SWWOW. Working hard for stuff has nothing to do with it and is childish to ridicule someone for in a game that I am paying for. I would simply like reasonable rewards for time spent, Pvp is a significant amount of time that I enjoy, reward me reasonably for that and you will keep getting my money. Life has stuff you don't enjoy because there is no way around it, games shouldn't.
  15. My experience was oh great we get an exp bonus so I can pvp level my alts. Incredibly bored with the pve side of things, the instances are some of the most boring I have seen in a game, I don't want to do the pve side again and I only have 13 legacy so max I can get now is 6% more exp unless I want to daily my *** off. The way I look at it they just lost 15 bucks a month. If they made pvp a viable leveling strategy even like WOW then I would stay. Instead they force me to pve to pvp. Your right this might not be the game for me even though I enjoy pvp. But bioware should have tried to make it a game for me to keep getting my money.
