  1. Name: Renegade Deathbringer Occupation: Bounty Hunter Position: Security Officer 1. As the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy I enjoy new death-defying challenges, and will do any job for the right price. Having previously seen some of Czerka's machinations first hand, I am confident that as the Security Officer I would be able to utilize my combined skills to help the corporation 'push the limits of engineering innovation'. 2. I've killed some of the toughest foes in the galaxy, including Hutts, Sith, Jedi, Dread Guard, ancient and advanced droids, terrors beyond imagination, and the odd annoying sand person. Most notably I killed the Archon of the New Hutt Empire (that was a fun day). I also captured the Chancellor of the Galactic Senate (just for kicks), and completed all my contracts and destroyed all my competition to become the Grand Champion of the Great Hunt. I am constantly looking for new challenges that test my abilities. 3. I completed the above via a combination of cunning, daring, intelligence, and good 'ol fashion brute force. I have contacts on both the Jedi and Dark Councils, SIS, Imperial Intelligence, Republic military, and have a vast network of underworld allies. As such I always have the latest tech, up-to-date intelligence, and the leverage to get myself out of any situation. 4. My moral compass is determined by the highest bidder. If you pay the bills, I got the skills. 5. I would continue to indulge in the cocktails and snacks, and enjoy the frivolity that ensues from the escape of my colleagues experiment. Once I deem it necessary (or I run out of snacks), I would kill the experiment and then stuff it and mount it on my wall.
  2. Actually, that number is the number of FPs you are queued for.
  3. @cyrus_krell – Bravo to you sir. I have tried to write similar threads but have never been able to encapsulate it as well as you have. To generate this much positive and constructive feedback is a testament to how great your OP is. Also, your follow-up work in the thread is fantastic, and works well to keep the thread on the rails. I have been compiling this list for a while now, and have edited it to fit the purposes of this thread. Crew Skills Window • Add a counter of deployed crew members (e.g. Max Deployable: 3/5) • Allow extending the height of the crew skill window so all companions can be seen without scrolling OR allow a “compressed” view so all companions can be seen in the standard window • Update companion portraits for equipped companion customization kits • Crafting window to remember sorting method (Difficulty/Rating/Level) Character Window • Move Legacy Surname/Title from Preferences to Character window • Toggle hood up/down, in addition to helm (if available on the gear) • Allow helm toggle/gear match on companions • Allow viewing/equipping gear on all companions when not on ship (allow viewing of companion gear whilst in group) Map/Mini-map • Allow hiding/change color of low level quest giver markers • Change color/icon for Heroic quest givers • Allow hiding of group member quest objectives • Allow zooming from Planet Map to individual zones • Map pinging Character Selection Screen • Allow custom order of characters • Do not automatically move last used character to top of list • Allow zooming out to see the entire character • Show weapons • Characters to random emotes at short time intervals • More facial hair options for non-humans/disconnect facial hair and cybernetics implants for cyborgs UI Customization • Include chat windows in the UI config interface (they are currently saved to a config, but are moved/altered outside of the UI config interface) • Add more quickbars (preferably 2 or more) • More customization for buffs/debuffs (style, size, position, filtering) • More customization for fly-text (position, filtering, direction, speed, duration) Inventory • Allow hiding/moving to low priority section for commendations • Allow prioritizing of commendations to be shown at the top of the window Legacy • Legacy Wallet • Legacy bank tab • More abilities Legacy-wide instead of character only, or allow them to be bought Legacy-wide at a higher price (e.g. 3-4 times single character value), or automatically assign to all characters on a Legacy if purchased by a certain number of characters • Legacy-wide datacron acquisition (possibly only after class story is complete) • Heroic Moment Quickbar (i.e. a separate bar that opens up when using Heroic Moment, with all those abilities that are unlocked) • Linking of Legacies cross-server [bWA has said that this is technically difficult] Launcher • Don’t require me to entire my authenticator key every time I log in, only if I change PCs/IPs, and on a periodic basis • Don’t require a second click after “Login”, unless a patch has to be downloaded/installed Companions • Companions more reactive to combat, especially for Snipers • More companions, and not the same one for everyone – see http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=467897 for details Mail • Auto-fill Legacy character names when composing mail • Upon sending new mail, do not switch from composition window to inbox Talents • Allow saving of skill tree templates (if not dual spec) • Allow saving of quickbar configurations (or link to skill tree templates) PvP • More Warzones • More Huttball maps • Allow disabling of Voidstar/Denova intro cutscenes • Less stuns..... please! Flashpoints/Operations • Ready Check for groups (OP: an audible check for all players in group to signify if they are ready/not ready, usually done before a pull) • Auto-start group conversations when all players have joined • Return to previous location when exiting a Flashpoint upon completion • Hard Modes of all the current Flashpoints that do not have Hard modes • Abilities that require a target to be stunned and can only be used on weak/normal/strong targets seem a bit of a waste, especially in the context of PvP and Operations • On-ground persistent location markers in groups Gear • Weapon preview in gear preview window • Add “Already Known” to known schematics • Only allow one roll option (i.e. everyone needs) for crafting materials (like Biometric Crystal Alloy), speeders, and pets that drop in FPs • Newly-bought Rakata/Columi/Tionese gear has the set bonus attached to the armouring • Eliminate the double-load screen when wiping in and re-entering a flashpoint/operation • Sometimes when people die in ops, people who rezone can’t see them to rez them Other • Quick Travel to ship • Outfit quick-change (have sets on mannequins on player ship?) • Quick travel from ship to planet surface (possibly limit to after the class quest for the planet has been completed) • Add pan/tilt/track/zoom to conversation camera • Allow emotes (if just the chat window text and not the animation) whilst on speeders • Space Operations objectives shown on the associated mission in the space map • Have (more) companions call out more/different/appropriate comments during space missions (some companions don’t even say anything during space missions) • Add a persons’ Legacy to Friends list • Add notes to Friends list • Saving of key-binds and other preferences to all characters on an account, not just a single character (or key-bind profiles) • Health Percentage on Target of Target/Focus Target • Allow showing of more helms on Miraluka [addressed by devs] • Allow linking of items in secondary chat window inputs (currently items can only be linked in the primary chat windows input) • More regular community involvement by all in the BWA/SWTOR team (particularly developers). The weekly Q&A is nice, but limited • In-game weather (maybe just for a new planet where it has an effect on gameplay/story) • Auto-populate GTN search field by clicking an item in inventory • Don’t reset camera zoom after any zone/instance change • Color-blind mode (for me, telling the difference between blue and purple is difficult, so telling if something is Prototype or Artifact quality from the icon alone is near impossible) • Powertech Shield Tech 31-point talent (Vent Heat) is useful, but very underwhelming when compared to other classes’/specs’ 31-point talent • Companions not re-appearing in 3-person groups • Conversation option texts need to be closer to what is actually said (sometimes it can be VERY misleading) • When logging in or changing planets, you should be put into the same instance as the majority of people in your guild • Whisper direct from Guild list And lastly... • Less lag, particularly in operations (where a little lag can wipe a group, particularly on Heroic and Nightmare modes) Love this idea Huxxar! Sniper Rifles and Assault Cannons have higher damage because their mirror classes dual wield two weapons.
  4. Just a couple of small changes I;d like to see in an upcoming patch. - The ability to hide certain types of currency in the currency tab of you bags (i.e. hide planet and old pvp comms that are no longer used). By hide I mean make them invisible (maybe by a selection box when you right-click them) not just collapsed (or maybe just in a collapsed section at the bottom of the window). - Hide low level quest giver icons from the mini map, or make them a different color so you can see in-world or on the minimap that they are well below your level. - Add an "Already Known" tag to known schematics, so that you know when looting whether you know the schem or not. - An outfit changer (might require some work though) - Current time in and expected time left in Group Finder queue - Pan/Tilt/Track/Zoom camera operations in cut scenes. This may or may not be possible, but would make for much more 'cinematic' cut scenes (e.g. remember the static 'reveal' the first time you see your starship, and then imagine how much more impressive it could be with a tracking, zooming-out camera).
  5. Grade 5 is not the highest grade, grade 6 is. These are made by Cybertechs (5 of 6) and as a reward for completing one of the grade 5 missions. Getting a full set of these will help you out a lot. I have a full set of grade 6 gear and all 4 comms bought upgrades, and I find even the hardest missions pretty easy and have plenty of time to complete them. Even without grade 6 gear, if you prioritize your targets and use missiles where appropriate you shouldn't have too much trouble completing the main mission objectives.
  6. Agreed, but having a few customization kits for him would be nice, to make him look like other models of protocol droids.
  7. Nice idea, but I think with the advent of group finder it will make getting groups so much easier it will be unnecessary. Also, from dailies you can get all the pieces you need to fill in Orange level gear (from the quests, not just token buys), so it is pretty easy to get a full complement of gear around level 124 by only doing solo/small group dailies in about a week. Plus, should we be encouraging more solo play over group play in an MMO? While I love soloing, I always find it more satisfying completing an objective while in a group.
  8. Nice idea about multiple people on one ship. An space mission ops may be a bit difficult to balance in terms of levels of difficulty, and I don't have any facts on what proportion of players would play any type of space mission (current or future), regardless of it being an Op.
  9. A genuinely good idea here, and probably fairly easy to implement. Something they could add to the hotkey menu.
  10. BWA has said that they are designing something fantastic for space combat. Have patience my young padawan (the new space mission coming out this year is stated to NOT be a part of the new design).
  11. Indeed. Different icons for dailies/heroics would be really nice, or even if they were just a different color on the minimap. Also changing the icon/color of low level quest icons would really help when going around the fleet or a low level area, as I constantly find myself thinking "ooh, is that a new quest for my level? No, just a low level one I skipped or is repeatable.
  12. Some interesting ideas there. I really love "Life of the Party". That would be really fun to see, but may become a lag fest if everyone on the fleet did it at once. As to the other three combat ideas, with how Heroic Moment is now (with all the legacy abilities) I don't really think you need to buff your solo/companion combat abilities, particularly to the extent you are talking about. I have previously posted about having multiple companions out at once for missions (see: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=4550903) and I think it can be worked in, but not as a cooldown you're going to use as a "God Mode".
  13. I agree here. I keep my PvP gear in order on the lowest row of my bag so I can quickly change by *click* *click* *click* across the row, but it would be nice to have a one-button change. If you are gonna move alternate armor sets out of the bags, maybe move them onto manikins on your ship so you can see them when you are not wearing them, and have a one-click to swap them around (maybe with a short cooldown it necessary). I'd love to see some of my old armor on display, especially when I have spent so much time attaining a full set (although I do often just put it on my companions).
  14. I made a similar suggestion last week - http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=4550903 I think the companions are a huge untapped resource. I'm sure it's on BWA's to-do list.
