  1. the writing has been terrible for this patch, there is more plot holes than in a 5 lb block of swiss cheese. but BW has to go somewhere from here, and as much as having us be the defacto emperor of the galaxy seems awesome, there is nothing to strive for, and our characters will become sort of hum drum. With that in mind there is nothing to make us "feel" and rage against our situation, than to get it all, and lose it, to someone we trust.... which means its going to be the one closest to us, heck maybe both of them, Theron and Lana together, got tired of following the puppet they drove all the way to the throne, and finally decided to get rid of you and start their life together as the emperor and empress of the galaxy.....
  2. Yea I agree, I think its Lana or Theron, (sadly) but just tossing it out there
  3. Unless..... it is someone different for every class.... Mako for the BH, Jaesa for a Warrior, Ashara for the Inquisitor, every class has someone who hasn't returned yet Grell, Temple, Risha, and Carson, what if Bioware pulls a full on Coup and customizes the traitor to the class.....
  4. I stop to think about BW's current motives, they have now made it possible, for a player to have access to a huge stable of followers, but in the future they have to take it somewhere, and tailoring everyones experience seems to be be a big thing, I think they are purposefully whittling down half of our potential followers, while allowing us to maintain the ones we really (miss\care) about, I really do think that each character will have a different potential traitor, but I also think the options are Lana, or Theron.... I also really don't believe that either have plot armor, in fact, I think the traitor might end up unseating us from the throne, and become our new nemesis.... otherwise, where exactly will BW take us from here, most sith want to rule the galaxy, oh wait we already do that..
  5. Yes but Malgus isn't a "traitor" he is a has been 2 or 3 expansion ago "enemy" not the same impact when you have already whipped him and sent him running with his tail between his legs.
  6. The truth is the whole story is bollocks, the Outlander should have arrived and brought holos of the eternal fleet leveling tython and korriban to the ground, and let them know that coruscant and Kass City are next, unless they leave Iokath immediately.... then use the omni cannon to blow them out of the sky once they board their perspective fleets to leave..... just because they didn't heed your warnings about coming to Iokath in the first place.... of course that is only what my Dark Side guardian would have done....
  7. Valkorian won, and the real you is a the traitor attempting to get your identity back....
  8. And don't forget Lana was on Iokath before you arrived, on a mission....
  9. I hope your right, but I don't think you are, I think for the sake of impact, its going to be Lana, or a combination of Lana / Theron, based on how well they like you. Because if / when we find out one of our specialists betrayed us. I think most will think the betrayer needs to go the way of the Koth, Scorpio, Malavi...... and then who would we turn our daily crates into.....
  10. I thought of that, and it could be an either or situation... the one you angered the most is the one that betrays you..... in the cut scene though, look at the hands..... they are totally feminine..
  11. So I am leading towards Lana.... which is horrible. It can't be, scorpio, Senya, Koth, Kaliyo, Aric, Vette, Acina or Torain, because all of them could be dead by that time.... Also it has to be a character that you absolutely must get, and not one that is optional. ie , Not Leyta, Bowdaar, Lokin... etc. I am pretty sure that the figure was female, screen captures and SWotorhead gave some strong evidence of the feminine aspects. So that leaves Sana-Rae, Hylo, or Lana.... Sana and Hylo are not really that close...... Every one has been waiting for the return of Darth Malgus, what if Lana was his apprentice... and we have the betrayer, Avenging the Betrayer...?
  12. I posted this elsewhere..... but I wanted to make sure that my feedback was out there. I know Sam over at SWTORcentral doesn't think this is ridiculously priced. I respectfully disagree, and think that Sam who has 115,000 cartel coins from his fans, might not be in touch with how the rest of us play. If I bought the lightsaber skin this week, I might not be able to buy another game that I have been looking forward to, also from BW, which shall remain semi nameless..... mostly because this one lightsaber skin costs upwards of 60 DOLLARS in cartel coins I posted earlier, and was bit snarky, but I want to weigh in and be more objective and clear in my feedback. I pay every month for my sub. I feel like the money I pay does entitle me to a bit more than the FTP players as well as the preferred players. Which I get, I get more access to the game, and I get better xp and leveling and all that. However, I don't feel like the benefits outweigh the cost. EA, or Bioware has had SWTOR on rails for about 5 years now, putting as little money into innovation and content as humanly possible, some might feel different, but the truth is, they wrote the game off when they went free to play, and use dirt poor tactics to squeeze every last drop of lifeblood from the player base that they can get. I am all for the game making money, but cheap tactics like charging 60 dollars for a the flashiest item in the game is garbage. While all the drops I am getting from my 300 command levels are totally shameless reskins, and probably 2/3 of the crap from their cartel market are as well. No item from the cartel market should EVER be a reskin (imho). I infuse the game regularly with money. I would like to see that rewarded. I understand your (sams) comments about the pitfalls of selling the item too cheap, offending those who spent mass dollars on the cartel market to get the saber (or whatver it is this week) and frankly, its garbage. I don't care what other people spent on the super flashy items. What I would like to see is an option for subs to get a BOP version at a huge discount (one option). I don't play SWTOR exclusively, and every time I leave the game, its because I get tired of crappy money grabbing practices, and it tarnishes the good work they do on story content. They have some good ideas, but they rarely continue to support and expand on them (I am looking at you GSF) =) Anyway, I will quit ranting now.
  13. True that, well I got the bug, but the fail is strong with this one <-----
  14. I think the real problem is that since GSF has come out, they really haven't followed through, maybe the real problem is that they need to work the system add a few more GSF themes, like team escort, or a different capture the flag mechanic type scenarios, and they might get a more devoted following of people, instead of the die hards, who dominate, getting mixed in with people trying it, but finding the learning curve to be to steep to make the grade.
