A couple other people as well as I are having problems post-this patch as well. I am having this exact same problem. Was thinking about going back to play the game again, but the same problems you are describing are happening to me. I tried to re-adjust the resolution from the Preferences screen and the entire screen freaked out. Doesn't happen with any other games I play or programs I run. My drivers are fully updated, too. No clue how to fix this problem.

You have to restart. It should be fine then.

14 hours into my update and just hit 87%. Looks like today is a complete wash.

Yep. I've tested out my connection multiple times while waiting for this game to download. Downloading multiple things works just fine. The updater isn't even close to maxing me out.

Congratulations for you, but you're still incorrect there. There are quite a few people that are having problems. I myself am sitting on a high end PC that I've shelled out quite a bit of cash on with a strong internet connection. There are threads and threads of people having problems.

Try restarting the game. It's a common problem. Tends to be the solution.

Nearly twelve hours in and I'm finally at 80%. This is ridiculous. Utterly disappointed in Bioware right now. And I was one of its most staunch defenders.

I disabled it earlier this year, but I guess it's back again if it's going like this. Do you have to disable it every time a new launcher comes out or something?
