  1. Right. When people get tired of buying pixels from the store what's left? PVP has never been taken seriously in this game it's always been a carrot dangle tactic and this go around the carrots are rotten.
  2. I like what SWG did to camp clubs, they dropped 50 gold elites on their asses and killed their base timers so no one got rewards.
  3. The announcement of the push back had huge numbers of the PVP community leave, whole pvp guilds disappeared so I ask have you been paying attention at all? Also have you been paying attention to what he PVP community has been asking for? Not PVE events that have some PVP content but actual planetary PVP control. IMO the best PVP guilds from SWTOR are now playing WildStar, ESO and Acheage and will a PVE event with some PVP bring them back? GSF didn't.
  4. I think the PVP community gave up because it was a dead horse. It was a hot topic after the first Illum was shut down. Now Illum is a seasonal amusement park. I don't think there is any interest in building the PVP community by the devs because they're too busy coming up with new collectibles to sell on their star wars home shopping network.

    Premade ruins PVP

This! Bioware has already fixed the premade situation. It's called join a pvp guild with VOiP.
  6. Having beta tested both those games I doubt it. IMHO based on plenty of group discussions in those betas the players want don't want SWTOR PVP as it is now. Instead of random selection arenas they want a cross server lobby system so you aren't forced to endure a WZ with all heals and no DPS or any of the other complete mismatches the random selection system creates. They want Open World PVP that matters not some PVE dailies where PVP can happen on a PVP server. Planetary control of some sort with bases or PVP objectives. No more gear grinds. Bring back all the PVP gear vendors and have them sell the shells for a low amount of credits from old school Battle Master to the newest gear. Have 2 Tiers of modifications PVP and Ranked and then sell the 2 Tiers of Armorings, Mods and Enhancements. Let the players min/max from the get go not 15k warzone comms later. Fix bolster! There are plenty of posts explaining why and how it is exploitable. I've been a loyal SWTOR subscriber since beta and I've seen some good gaming guilds come and go on three different servers. I think it's pretty telling what's left of the PVP community when a PVE server is considered "the best" PVP on SWTOR. Change up the SWTOR story in your next expansion please. We want to go to war! We want 3 or 5 planets that are not a themepark but a sandbox where open world PVP matters. Please, please make your next expansion PVP based and please listen to what the PVP community has been saying and asking for. I know from first hand conversations with guild leaders that dominated Jung MA and POT5 after launch that they won't come back to SWTOR until a major change in the PVP system is live. They're tired of the credit sinks. We have what might be the most exciting expansion coming up with guild ships and bunkers yet returning players will see a 50M price tag and won't grind out the credits because its just another carrot dangling andf they're tired of carrots. A lot of the guilds I spoke to that you lost to Wildstar won't come back unless there is large scale PVP, a more meaningful crafting system (which is a whole other post on its own) and less grinds and more playable PVP content.
  7. I updated this to reflect changes in the PvP system. Hope it helps any of the other PvE haters out there.
  8. Every time we log in, we see the same post by several people. “Looking to do Ranked Arenas, who’s queuing?” “Need Tank and DPS for Weekly.” “Looking for Heals and DPS for 16 man.” Same thing as soon as we land on any planet to do daily quests. The Gen Chat is full of players who are the last active players in their once bustling guilds looking for help to finish their daily and weekly missions. Having loyalty to your guild is a noble quality but when you are the last person or 2 or 3 people left active you are just being loyal to a name or the memory of what your guild once was and hindering YOUR gaming experience. The hope that THEY will all come back after the next expansion or update usually goes unfulfilled. Titan is a gaming guild focused on community that has members involved in many different games. We are offering a home for the Republic refugees, returning players and new players to the game a home. A place to gather and find your Raiding team, Ranked Arena team, Warzone premades or casual PvE dailies. A use of a Team Speak, website and a community of mature and able gamers. If you are looking to be competitive Titan is a place to call home, if you are a casual gamer but don't want to spend half your gaming time trying to get grouped up to do your favorite things in game Titan is a place for you. If you are new to SWTOR and need a little guidence and coaching Titan has a place for you to get the help you're looking for. Returning Vet but feel a little out of the loop, under geared and want someone to walk you through the new stuff, we have a place for you in Titan. Like any community you only get back what you put into it so we ask that you treat other members of Titan and the PoT5 community with the type of respect that you would like to be treated. Lets get organized Republic Players and lets get back in the fight. http://www.titan-guild.com
  9. Everytime I see someone nit self buff after death I *facepalm*. Had a mando with no cell and not self buffed running around ACW typing out orders in GEN CHAT! He is my new hero.
  10. On my server I have have 4 toons on each factions. 2 55 Pubs and 2 55 Imps and 2 lowbies on each side. I get instant queue pops on my Imps toons because of faction vs faction there is always a match to enter. On my all Pub toons it takes forever to get a queue pop. There just isn't enough Pubs queued up for WZ and ranked.
  11. It's Queue! Giving victor comms won't work because most servers have way too many Imps and not enough Pubs and it will be the Illum fiasco all over again. Imps will be fully geared and Pubs will still be waiting to finish their weekly. How about ranked matches where gear doesn't even matter? Just your skill and team comp? I know crazy talk.
  12. ^^ This! The biggest smack talkers in this game are the worst players most of the time. Now that there are rankings there will be more egos running around playing bad and telling you how pro they are. Arena PvP is the lowest form of PvP IMHO. Remember when you actulally had to use tactics and terrain and try and out weigh the odds of bigger numbers against you? Not if you've only played theme parks you don't.
