I play from Australia too (well usually I would, this year I have been in Florida, but return home next January) and and got by on the East coast servers by just trying to be predictive with what will happen, which is much easier in a pve scenario than pvp. I can see how it is a considerable issue for us International guys who chose west coast cos it was the closest route home, guess I will have to wait to go back home to see just how terrible it must be now

That bad huh? guess I just assumed it couldn't beat the 360 or something I get on an East Coast server, wonder how it can be worse when I assumed the east coast server was further away from the new position of the west coast one

It's hard to relate to all this outrage, since I have played with high ping since launch. Even now i notice little to no difference in my ping when I play the game, so is it really just a minor ping increase that has got everyone's knickers in a twist?

not sure if something like this is already in the works, but I wish there were some way to get old seasonal rewards from ranked pvp. For example I really like the looks of Baron Deathmark's huttball helmet, but wasn't good enough to get it back in season two, only being able to get the holo of Giradda's barge, and would really like another shot at earning it. Some people may not like the idea of these old rewards being brought back as the rewards for a future season (like if in season 10 they just offered up the Swashbuckler weapons again) so maybe a vendor could be brought in that offers either a selection of old rewards or even all of them for various prices. So people don't have to pick between new and old rewards, perhaps convert all our old ranked tokens into a single new currency that could be used to purchase the old rewards, calling them like Vintage ranked tokens or something

much like the others I am all for the idea of the vibroswords and what not, though specifically I would wanna see one for my Ludo Kressh Warsword, been sitting on that one since 1.0 and would like to make it even more special than it already is

Did they hint at that and I just missed it? Or is it pure speculation at this point? Either way it would suck if true

Would be nice to know soon if I should spend the season 7 tokens now before it is too late. Or if it is worth hanging onto them in the hopes they convert to season 8s (or some other currency, though I got my fingers crossed for 8s)

Why would someone do ranked if there was no incentive?

Maybe unassembled components could work, but part of me would want to keep ranked tokens exclusive to ranked. Buuuut I might be saying that cos I got a toon with like 100k or so S7 tokens sitting around cos I didn't really spend them last season, and miiiiight wanna use then to buy a whole bunch of decos, maybe the weapons if I don't end up getting to silver before the season ends

Not sure if it has been asked yet but what will happen to our season 7 tokens? In the past I believe it was said that unspent tokens would convert to warzone commendations, but those are gone now. Is it entirely possible that our unspent S7 tokens will convert to Season 8 ones? A one to one would be wonderful, but I think a 2 for 1 would suit me.

So I probably missed this in the stream earlier, but will we need to have a ticket to Celebrations in order to go to the Cantina event? a while back I thought I heard it might be offsite, but now I am not sure. probably the only time I will be able to go to one of these, would be a shame to miss out.

Anyone got any idea if the swtor fellas will have any sort of presence at celebration this year, even if only a minor one? Been having a bit of a look for any info but I guess I haven't looked hard enough. Would be the first time I have ever been in a position where I could attend any such event and figured it would be kinda neat if they were there.

It does make the point feel a little less valid when it breaks down to that, but clearly they just feel that passionately about it, which there is nothing wrong with. It may have been a tad unnecessary to try and directly get the attention of the Musco, if anything I feel any thread with his name on it is less likely to get him to look at it, still it was worth a shot.
