  1. Carnage is obviously underpowered for a purely DPS class and for the level of difficulty as mastering the spec, it should definitely be pulling higher #s. Here are just some of my thoughts on how to give Carnage a bit of love to make it more viable. These buffs will mainly apply to PVE (because I really don't PVP on my Mara) so I can't speak to PVP buffs. I might be way off in all of these but I'm just throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks. 1. Carnage relies almost exclusively on white damage. Maybe add a bleed or internal damage effect either from a tactical or set bonus. For example, Carnage has no good exclusive set bonus. Here's an idea: -2: +2% Mastery -4: Devastating Blast/Gore/VT has a 50% chance to cause internal damage for (x) seconds. -6: Devastating Blast/Gore/VT has a 100% chance to cause internal damage for (x) seconds. 2. Give Berserk a higher alacrity boost so bursts are faster. 3. Increase the crit multipliers of... well... everything, but especially Massacre and DB. I say crit multipliers and not overall damage because you still have to time your crits (especially DB) and you're still subject to RNG. 4. Do something, anything, to make Ravage useful again. 5. Give the spec a baseline higher alacrity boost. Ataru Form is about hitting hard and fast, thus using Ataru should reflect its intended purpose. This means an alacrity boost is appropriate. 6. As some other people have suggested in other threads, make the cooldowns for the burst abilities shorter. When 10 out of 15 of the abilities in your rotation are filler (Massacre), you have too much filler and not enough burst on a burst spec. I may be way off on all of this and if anyone has any better suggestions, I'm open to them. This post is just to get some wheels turning in we the players who pay for this game and maybe get the attention of Bioware on some tangible solutions.
  2. So just about everybody I've talked with this about agrees: Forcequake is a lame counterpart to Force Lightning. Shaking the ground as an AOE is awful in comparison to shocking people to death en mass. So, I think Forcequake needs to be replaced by an ability called "Force Barrage" where you basically take a bunch of Project rocks and throw them from the air to the ground like a meteor shower. Now THAT would be a cool counterpart. If anyone else wants to contribute or has questions, let me know on this thread. I think we can get some decent ideas shooting around.

  4. Personally, I think for the run to be counted as "progression" and thus the achievements of the kills to be allowed, the team should have to kill the bosses in order. If a group skips the DG and downs Op9 I don't think it should count as a part of their progression on this Thread because I think for someone to progress in a raid, their kills should be in the order of the bosses themselves. However, if the general consensus is that a group can skip the DG and kill the other bosses and have it still count, I'm completely OK with that.
  5. Thora, there's a TON of posts in the Flashpoints, Operations, and Heroic Missons Forum about the difficulty of the Dread Guard. I saw a guy did the math on the dps needed. He said the dps need an average of 2965 and that DOESN'T include the Legionaries And Ciphas' bubble to avoid enrage. I've even seen several people who claim to be in the top PVE guilds on the game state it is impossible, or very near impossible. They said they 4 dps in full 72s only getting 2600-2700. So, I think BW will nerf or lengthen the enrage timer with the Dread Guard in 2.2.1.
  6. Kenji, if I came across as hostile, I sincerely apologize. My statements were my own and they do not reflect the opinions of my fellow guildmates as I cannot logically speak for them. That is why I began that reply in the manner I did. As for you giving us the benefit of the doubt, I disagree. Do you honestly believe we would alter our logs just to get on this particular Thread? As for the screenshot, we are all aware there are a vast number of bugs in this game so is it such a stretch to say the lockout window shown was another bug? Furthermore, the picture of Dath with the pet seems to provide very strong evidence we did, indeed finish the Op has he was server-first to get it that we know of.
  7. If you look at Dath-cody's log and the individuals he was healing, they were: Amberlina, Dath-cody, Savar, G'reggy, Klehitt, Gagoogin, Bishuup, and Lirel. The individuals in Chyanis' screenshot outside SaV were Amberlina, Dath-cody, Savar, G'reggy, Klehitt, Gagoogin, Bishuup, and Lirel.

Furthermore, I'd like to add, as an individual, not as a member of DWBI, I am disappointed in my fellow gamers on Begeren Colony that they would so enthusiastically dismiss the achievements of others due to any per-formed opinions and biases. I would hope the people I get to share my server with would be humble and mutually appreciative enough toward the other guilds in the server in recognizing their achievements without bias in order to create a better gaming atmosphere. I sincerely hope all of you reassess opinions, actions, and beliefs in each other so we do not have to argue over petty things such as these. I understand you need proof to confirm that people have done the hardest Ops in the game so you don't have random guilds saying they have done them when they have not. However, your actions toward a member of my guild paint very poor pictures of yourselves. I urge you to reconsider how you are seen by others if you wish to find the kinds of friends I have in my guild. Thank you.
  9. G'reggy of Don't Worry Bout It here. From what I read there is a bit of a dispute on DWBI accomplishing HMSaV. Here are 2 Combat Logs uploaded on TORParse of Dath-Cody and myself when we beat Dread Master Styrak.   10. I already hit Zen quite a bit. I try to use VC to get Zens up faster but I'll admit I'm not most efficient at it so should I start working on getting better at using VC?
  11. I use a Razer Naga mouse so I'm good on keybinding. Also, I experience little to no lag. Furthermore I did a parse on a buddy of mine's ship earlier and still had ~42 APM. So, my low APM is all me. After looking at several parses my conclusion is focus management and prioritizing abilities. I added Leap to my rotation to help build Focus which actually worked quite well. For my prioritization of abilities I basically use BS, MS, PS, and Dispatch when they're off CD and Zen when I have full Centering which did help, but I'm wondering how I can increase my APM more.
  12. Ok. The reason I ask is because my APM seems to have plateaued at about 43 and some of the best Combat parses I've seen are 47-48 APM. I've tried keeping the BR buff on as much as possible at that did very, very little. Does anyone have an advice on increasing APM? I also currently do not have the 4-piece set bonus.
  13. This is a very basic, simple Thread. Does Combat need Alacrity? Since we stack so little Accuracy due to our Form and Steadfast, I was wondering whether or not I should stack some Alacrity with my Enhancements due to the extra points and my Surge gets in excess of 70%.
  14. Also another question: Power or Strength Augs? I've heard Main Stat for everyone due to Crit still being useful even though stacking it in Mods and Enhancements is a waste of points.
