  1. I wonder if the redemption problem has to do with the fact there are limitations on the currencies. There are caps that could be preventing the rewards being counted properly. Tech fragments still generate error messages when people have over a determined amount. I hope that the currency caps get adjusted soon. I guess we wait and see.
  2. The company should not care how fast people gear up. They should care about making a quality game and not angering the players who pay their wages. Capping is stupid and it makes people quit. I have 25 characters. I am trying the different ways to play my characters. Turning my light side assassin into a shadow, my dark side jedi into an assassin, or any of the other combinations that are now possible. All the company should care about is the time and money I spend on their product and if I would recommend the game to someone. There are many reasons to subscribe and enjoy the game. Gearing should be the least concerning to the company. Many people don't like to swap gear between alts. They are killing the mood of the player base by slowing people down in the initial way to gear up. Reasons to play the game should be obvious. I have spent serious money on Cartel Items and unlocks over the years. If they want a happy player base, they better get rid of the design they thought and give people what they want. Players play and gear as they wish and as long as they aren't violating TOS the company should not care. The customer is always right; without us they are unemployed.
  3. I agree. They put a "cap" on a major currency and expect it to be okay. Developers are supposed to make people want to play the game more not less. The cap needs to be eliminated. Some developers need to play more than one character when they propose ideas like this. Their entire QA team should be fired over this expansion because of the amount of "bugs" and ideas like this. The problem is they don't test how the tested parts work in the whole design.
  4. Yes, it should not exist. I can and have capped it playing five characters in one day. That means i get zero when I play my 20 other characters. People don't like to have caps anyway. Who was the developer that thought this would be a "great idea?" I don't mind the limit on the number you can hold (though it should be 2000 if you give them in 200 lots). The whole system seems unnecessarily complex.
  5. The gear should use mods again. The weekly caps though need to be removed on currencies. I have 25 characters and max my medals of commendation out the first day. I liked the play your way concept that the game had. Give people their choices back. Fix the Malgus bug and I would be okay.
  6. There should be a way for some companion gifts to be crafted by players. Especially droid and creature companion from the Cartel Market because their gifts are specific. It would be best if the gifts used regular and rare materials. The diverse list of companions would encourage players to sell gifts on the GTN and boost the economy.
  7. The Commander's Share crates are taking too much space in Cargo Holds. These appear after you give them to a Resistance Follower or the Endgame Base Admin (such as Hylo , the Admiral or Doctor O). The orange armor pieces need to find a collection or a Stronghold Display item ( i.e. you can hang the Armor Set fike they do in department stores today) because you want to collect them all. Also the Conquered Exarch gear should have their own collection because players rerun the Star Fortresses weekly.
  8. I have been wondering why the higher my level the tougher the class quest missions are to solo. My gear has kept up and there appears to be a sense of humor in some areas. The mobs in some class instanced areas appear to favor tank types. My DPS sniper has had a hard time soloing content with multiple elite class mobs. I am on Taris and the range tank companion has been dropping in her effectiveness. There are often times that I need a group to kill the mobs in my class story area. The off-world areas appear to no longer allow groups also. Are other people having the same issue?
  9. I personally like Mako and the male bounty hunter. It was neat to get to the end and have a "republic's most wanted" and his "more than just a pretty sidekick" in both the Republic and Imperial Marriage Databases. She also crashes 10 holonet sites with Hearts because she feels romantic. It just sounds fun and she emails you something about you making that face as she is crashing the holonet. It made me bust out laughing as I imagined it playing out. She also sets a gift registry. It was really a cool story.
  10. So far I have played an inquistor, imperial agent and a bounty hunter through Alderraan and each class quest before Taris has had some type of bug attached. The bugs were bounty hunter the boss was not spawning. The inquistor the strong and a normal mob would not die (the two before getting to the boss). During the fight the agent 'cannot see' the boss (which is bracketed by two frozen green mobs) unril you are right on top of him and he kills my 'tank' companion in 4 hits. I am getting to the point of frustration. Why do these quests appear to be really hard to solo? The IA should be able to see the target at range and not cover into a railing with the opponent behind him. I like challenges, but, this is getting to the point of needing a group each time. The sniper IA cannot heal and gets the healing companion at Taris (which is the latest I have seen yet). I love the game and spend lots of time playing. Please help the players by making the fights normal elite fights without odd rules of engagement.
  11. Hello: Just wanted to know why Armorrmech cannot break down found armor pieces like Armsmech can with the gear drops? Seems like I can only break down player made gear.
