  1. Oh, people complaining about Operatives being OP. Feels like it's December 2011 - the nostalgia is overpowering. Is it Concealment again? Ah, the good old days of Acid Blade + Hidden Strike + Backstab destroying people in two gcds while they were stunned and helpless.
  2. Everyone's playing Sorcs on the Imperial side. There are some Assassins, too, to be fair, but mostly Sorcs. Everyone is flocking to the FOTM lightning spammers again, it feels like launch once more.
  3. God, I just had one. Mandalorian Raiders hard mode. Warning signs were there at the first boss: the tank seemed to think it's a great idea to let those adorable puppies get into the boss' red circle. Well, it isn't. I'm not a great healer but Jesus himself couldn't have healed that through in the end. Especially as the DPS seemed to take ages killing the cutiepie doggies. Okay, second try, tank actually taunts the boss when it tries to run away so we kill them. Yay, loot. Move on. We wipe four times on the boarding party as the soft enrage is too much for our squishy hearts - what the hell are the DPS doing? The tank starts blaming me. Way to go, man. We get through (after we group them up properly so I can use my AoE heal efficiently at last), get to the bonus. Again, for some reason the Sentinel and the tank - from the same guild - seem to believe the glowing red circle with the spinning maniac inside it is good for them. They might have expected Christmas gifts, I dunno. Death was swift and inevitable. Next try, they realised - well, I told them - that BIG RED = BIG BAD. Trouble is, he enraged after a prolonged time of whacking. It looked like the Horribly Slow Murderer with an Extremely Inefficient Weapon, the way our DPS barely put a dent in his health. Oh well. We gave up (that's the spirit, eh!), especially as I noticed by now that the Vanguard tank's standard opener was this: Taunt, Sticky Grenade, Full Auto... yeah. Moving on... On Mavrix, our tank bravely takes on the man himself while the DPS, oh yes, start attacking two separate turrets. The Shadow quickly rectified his error but I couldn't save the Sentinel who still couldn't quite grasp the concept that RED is very very BAD. TWO REDS BAD, FOUR REDS... well, even worse. So, the combination of the tank whacking at Mavrix and the DPS dying due to a chronic case of stupidity, we wipe. Tank tries to kick me. I leave instead, after telling him that 1) he doesn't have a clue what to do yet never asks questions, 2) opening with Taunt is almost as bad as RED is. Not that he'll ever understand that particular lesson.
  4. Makeb was incredibly easy back then in endgame gear; throughout the first few sectors enemies just kept melting. I'm absolutely certain that the Oricon set will be more than fine. You'll be probably able to get away with even Makeb greens and blues.
  5. Plenty of people love Huttball, it's one of the most popular warzones overall I'd think. Personally, I'd only queue for the original Huttball, Voidstar, Civil War and Novare.
  6. I'd be okay with that. Or they could reduce healing received from other players by 50/100% while ED is active - though this has to be PvP only somehow as it would render the ability almost totally useless in PvE. As I admitted, right now it IS overtuned. But the spec isn't "completely broken", as some people here suggest. It merely has an insanely good defensive cooldown on top of other, very much necessary dcds. Like I said, any nerf/change must be carefully considered because the Guardian is the number one frontline fighter in this game and needs survivability. We are "in your face" even more than Sentinels who can at least Camo out when things get ugly.
  7. Vigilance's damage output is still mediocre at best and a heavy-handed nerf to survivability just to appease the ranged masses can easily make the spec entirely useless. The same is true about Focus since the well-deserved nerfs to Sweep bombing. FD could use a slight retune but some of the suggestions in this thread just outright want to kill Vigilance which had been a very poorly regarded spec in PvP for something like two years. I mean someone even suggested taking Unremitting away.
  8. Basically this. I remember when Master Strike was interruptable and it had no root on it in any Guardian spec, Plasma Brand still needed Sunder and its dots were ticking longer than its cooldown, we had no Focused Defense and Vigilance had no speed boost either. People playing ranged classes were happy with us back and they'd love to get that back. No wonder.
  9. It does count as healing in warzones. I'm not sure how the combat log handles it, can't be bothered to log on to my Sorcerer to actually check it
  10. Assassins/Shadows are more than fine. They have two viable DPS specs. Scoundrels/Operatives, well, yeah. They have been subpar as DPS since about January 2012. Great healers though.
  11. Then you shouldn't be able to use stims, unless you take Biochem.
  12. It used to happen all the time with Master Strike, especially before 1.2. I haven't had this particular bug for a long time now though.
  13. Mathematics isn't your strongest point, is it?
  14. Yeah, real men use Slash and Strike only. I don't even have a keybind for Overhead Slash either, I mean it's just way too obvious, everyone expects it these days.
