  1. Sure, that must be it. They probably don't want people abusing gambling with in game credits for possible winning of in game credits, it's much more legit to gamble on cartel packs with real money. Other mmo's have gambling in game, or mini games, TOR should as well
  2. Space PVP? First you need space combat, than you need to convince people that pvp based on skill is fun. I'm thinking by the time the super secret space project finally does come out, I'll be playing squadron 42/star citizen for my space pvp needs. Still hoping for space pvp, or space combat in SWTOR, but I'm not even believing that it will be added anymore. -off to enjoy one year anniversary fireworks.....
  3. you know, I was thinking this game was missing something. Glad they figured it out, new gear with same skins. The only set of gear I want to get it the gear everyone on Ilum is wearing(the gear that makes you completely invisible, even to your own faction)
  4. It's heading towards six million lol, I remember when swtor came out, people where quick to say space is a niche and nobody would play it, if it was too complex.(this game needed swimming and the ability to sit in chairs first, and space wasn't a big deal lol) I wish bioware would leak a clip of the super secret space project.(just to quench my need for 3d space combat)
  5. They should just allow Mercs the ability to use a companion in warzones. That would make them a little closer competitive wise to other classes lol.
  6. Yeah, I'm really excited about that game. I hate that its two years out. http://www.robertsspaceindustries.com/star-citizen/?rid=29303
  7. No it means your an arsenal merc:p
  8. Not to be the negative nancy but we formed up our guild(bout 25% from are original guild) and asked how many people are riding out the free time remaining. That was kind of a blow to my optimistic side. I loved today as people I haven't seen playing in months logged back in to transfer, but something has to be done to get them resubbing. I agree with what you said, I just think its still a little more dire than people think. Me personally, I'm only sticking around for the revolutionary space thing that a couple of developers have thrown out there, but I really wish they would announce a couple warzones/raids and the reopening of a reimagined ilum just to get people actually subbing and not riding the free time express.
  9. Sorry for the op. Seriously though, you need to ignore and pay for a transfer when they are available to an older group/server like jung ma.(rp-pvp servers are alot more mature, and I'm not sure if you would actually ever see role play other than "the republics invading x planet everyone attack" which is fine in my book. I've never been able to roll play so I can't judge or comment too much on it. I just know that usually a large number of people there come from the age of RP Or a pve server would be fine. It has all the same pvp that pvp servers happen minus "open world" lol, thats where you would find helpful people that will really try and help you out. Off topic though: The only reason I'm posting is I'm curious about the actual rule set for the afk vote kick option? I've never used it or seen it used. How long do you have to engage in combat? Or will merely moving cancel it? Just curious.
  10. I'm actually ok with the lag spikes on fleet lol, its good to see several fleet instances all sporting close to 300 people. Its a good problem to have. OP-my transfer was good, faster than I expected(from other games), and I did my weekly pvp in an hour, I haven't been able to get a que in weeks lol before the transfer. I had to change my legacy name, but thats cool in my book, I don't put too much value in a name.
  11. 1. quintessential epeen player? Cool, lol I'm an arsenal merc without warhero. 2. I play to see my name high on a scoreboard, haha again refer to 1. 3. I do know what recruit armor looks like, I farmed it in outlaws den in my dead server. As far as following them around, well, not really I'm usually trying to kill healers. 4. Don't know about pounding pugs, we only have two groups on the other faction, and if I'm in a pug they litter chat with "L2P, get better, and terribads" things I've never typed. In fact the only thing I've ever /say is gj 5. rated wz's are going to save you? HAHA thats the funniest thing you said in your list of assumptions. Rated wz's are going to be farm fest's still. With this game having what usually takes other mmo's two years of gear progression to achieve, they've forced you to do it in 6 months. Now they are raising the level cap, and I'm sure conqueror gear is on the horizon, and now you will need even more wz comms for adrenals since biochem's outlawed. Rated wz's will be farmed by groups of fully augmented warhero gear with the "perfect group composition", and if you played any game with ratings, you would know the talkers are even worse.
  12. The agent giving the wedgie gave me a good laugh!
  13. You play to win, than once the score is 5-0, or you've got two points in alderaan/denova than you play for medals. On voidstar we get the last room, than when its the other team we selectively decide when to let the other team progress(this gives them hope) than we crush them repeatedly at the shields before the last door(you never let them past that, just in case they get lucky). Thats how you grind medals, while winning. Now that you'll be using wz comm's to buy adrenals only, your going to have to medal farm.
  14. What the empire can't have pets?
  15. you can change the mod, just not the armor insert and now you can throw an augment on them. All in all not bad.
