  1. The game keeps crashing in the exact same spot every time..... ......every single time and in the exact same spot every time. I tried just about everything from clearing my cache to defragmenting my hard drive to many other things. Is anyone else having a problem like this or similar ?
  2. This makes more then enough sense to me. I didn't figure it was going on a hourly counter.
  3. I know this will sound VERY petty and I'm sorry for that ahead of time BUT when I re-subbed a moment ago I purchased the two month / 60 day option and when I went to check my account it said I only had 59 days of game time. Where did that one day go ?
  4. I was in a dialog with Lana, . While talking with Lana the server bounced me and when I came back I could no longer resume the dialog I had with her and missed out on a flirt chance with her. Will that disconnect prevent me from "locking in" a romance with her do to missing that one flirt chance ?
  5. Can anyone explain to me who is on the cover art of the SWTOR game besides Satele Shan and Darth Malgus . To me the trooper looks like a human version of Aric Jorgan and that Male Jedi seems to be a focal point of the box art yet he gets killed off in the opening cut scene of the game. Can anyone fill me in ?
  6. Please note that this is just my opinion and its completely open to debate...... (1) Server Lag Issue / Game Crash to Desktop : Personally I don't see this issue ever being fully resolved if resolved at all. With so many posts, threads and CS bug tickets submitted EA / Bioware has yet to acknowledge this as a problem outside of a "sticky" asking people to state their problems which is nothing more then what they asked of us before. This is a SERIOUS game breaking issue for ALLOT of players and they "EA / Bioware" needed to make this a "High Priority" problem to fix and for whatever reason after many updates / patches have been released since 1.4 ( when the problem began for players ) the Server Lag Issue / Game Crash to Desktop problem still persists. (2) SGR options in SWTOR : After the pre launch announcement of this option and the many hints about it since then the SGR ( same gender relationship ) options in SWTOR has yet to come and in my opinion will never do so despite MANY threads supporting this option. They already have fans to settle down after the Mass effect 3 ending "problem" and the failure of Dragon Age 2....do they want even more problems from a vocal minority of fans that wont want this option? ( I think not ) . (3) The many Cartel Coin issues : EA / Bioware is well aware of this issue but allow me to tell you why I think they'll do nothing about it or at least for the time being......this game placed them in a serious hole and with the implementing of the Cartel Coins they could use the possible loop holes in the Coins issues and if worst came to worst fall back on the TOS if any players started raising to much of a fuss over the fact that the issues around the Cartel Coins are costing the players money or in game items. To put it simply....they want to make as much money off of this issue before being forced to fix it. ( If anyone else would like to add issues to this list feel free )
  7. when in a group 99.9% of the time I'll always ask before selecting Need on an item and more often then not I pass on items I know another group member truely needs. I never take something any member truely need but this time we both rolled and he lost and I ended up in this mess because I chose not to ask this once thinking everyone would be ok with it like they where in the past ( not all the same groups ) ...big mistake lol
  8. I came here to ask anyone willing to listen a question in hopes it can be answered. I was caught up in a situation today where I rolled need on an item for my companion. I rolled need and the person after me rolled need and lost. All of a sudden the leader of the group got heated with me right off the bat stating that I needed to hand over the item to the person that lost the need roll because it was an item that he was spec'ed for ( of which I saw the logic in that ) but then when I asked why both the player and the leader started getting even more heated with me and started calling me a "Ninja Looter" . I explained to them that we both rolled on it fairly and he lost and I told them I'd gladly had over the item if he really needed it but I ended up not doing so because of how hostel they got right off the bat. Now for the record I want to state that I ask before I chose to need an item and I always get told "If you need an item just NEED it" and it would figure the one time I don't ask this would happen. ...my question is if I did anything wrong or how I should have handled this situation. Any advice on this would be appreciated.
  9. When I logged in after updating ( F2P update ) I noticed I no longer have the ability to toggle off / hide my Legacy name anymore. I don't use my Legacy name on all of my characters and this would suck if we can no longer have the option of hiding it when need be. ( Yes I am a sub )
  10. ( Please note that I'm not one of those psychotically mad TOR players that wants to burn down Bioware/EA for a forced name change...I'm just a bit surprised and I want to get this off my chest ) I've been here since around the time the game launched ( give or take a month of so ) and always on the same server ( Harbinger ) . I've had the same name for a long time. It wasn't sexual or suggestive in anyway yet when they merged the servers I was forced to change my name when I logged in one night. What I don't understand is why I had to change my name if I was on the server first with that name. I personally don't see it as right or even fair that I had to change my name because someone moving over from another server had it too. If anything they should've had to have changed their name. If anyone can help me understand this I'd be appreciative. ( please note that before some "mod" comes in and posts some "copy and paste" response to explain my problem I do want to say that I've played ALLOT on my toon and have it MAXED. It was my original toon from the beginning. These "other factors" that the SWTOR staff speak of simply translates into " we needed a way to explain a screw up so don't flood our call centers " . ) What this breaks down to is that the most popular names in the game go to the people TOR want them to so those players keep playing. More then likely the players that spend thousands in the micro transaction shop. Seniority, Time played and other things they claimed that would factor into a player keeping their name is a lie because if thats true I'd still have my name hands down. There is no system or concrete "factors" as they claim because that would complicate things way to much for them......point blank is they screwed up and they needed to explain to angry players why they don't have their names anymore.
  11. I agree with you on the history of "Same Sex" options being in the past games but it seems like the most modern of them have really downplayed it into a vague action. Take for example Dragon Age: Origins and the first Mass Effect. When EA took over Bioware it really seemed downplayed into a vague action compared to those games and I think Mass Effect 3 is a great example of this considering how they played out a long standing "Same Sex" relationship in that game. I do hope something is done on this subject but if not I guess I'd understand on why they may have dropped the whole idea.
  12. I'm almost certain I'll catch heat for this from various forum members do to my question's subject matter but asking CS about it always results in the same " Copy and Paste vague PR response " . Upon launch of SWTOR they ( the Dev team...I assume ) announced that there would be "Same Sex" companions. I know that the announcement of this didn't sit well with various parental groups and some others to say the least. Since then there's been zero mention of this and with the announcement of " HK-51 " at E3 this year I was wondering if Bioware/EA and the Dev team abandoned the whole idea of the "Same Sex" companion for the player. I'm only asking because I have a vested interest in this do to my lifestyle of which is NOT easy for me to admit on a forum of all places but since I can't get a solid answer on this subject from anyone ( if there is one ) I thought I'd ask the SWTOR community. ( I'm very sorry if the subject matter of my question offends anyone )
  13. Forgive me for my noobness or how "useless" this thread may seem but I've always wondered why in alot of promos from SWTOR they feature a female bounty hunter ( or atleast it looks like one ) with long flowing hair yet there isnt a hairstyle in the game that even comes close to that. Personally I would love to have a hairstyle like that....but was that just for the promos to make the promo character look more attractive or did they have any intention at some point to have a hairstyle like that? I dont really like alot of the hairstyles in SWTOR but then again I'm sure I'm in the minority in thinking that :-(
