  1. Welcome to Austin! Best city in Texas. Dont forget to try out 6th street and Franklins BBQ
  2. Tool - Useful Idiot System of a Down - Where do you expect them to go when the bombs fall? Clutch - Jesus on the dashboard! Hum - She's out back counting stars... Chevelle - I might have something to say! Alice in Chains - Sitting on an Angry Chair Nirvana- Something in the way We should do a hip hop, rap one next. Thats all I listened to in the 80's until I discovered these guys above in the 90's. Now i am back to rap until System of a Down gets back together and Tool releases their damn new album that we have been waiting for for 10 years....
  3. Found for 750k today on GTN. Great Success! Thanks to that nice person.
  4. Still looking.... been leveling a new toon and made some credits. Can up the offer to 3 mil. Thanks
  5. Hey Harbinger, Looking to buy the last piece for my set for my new character. Prices on GTN have been silly lately. Anyone willing to part with the robes for 1.5 mil, please contact Offworld -repub or Inhibit-imp. You can c.o.d. them and I will be checking the mail. Have a good one
  6. Yeah. Same problem. Someone tried to buy fifa 2015 on my origin account and now I can not sub or buy coins. I am surprised I can type on the forums because a few previous times I tried to reply to a topic like this, I was not able to. And oh boy, It is a pain in the arse to get it fixed. Waited on the phone forever with Swtor and then they said they could not do anything, I had to contact EA. I told EA my problem, They were suppose to look into and clear it up. Got an email saying my issue was resolved, but nothing changed. So, I had to go the amazon route. I would rather but directly from Bioware. I live in Austin and like to support the game these guys made here. I dont even use my Origin account, basically just play Battlefield and SWTOR. Just an unfortunate circumstance.
  7. I know everyone has different luck with these things. I just wanted to share my experience. I have spent about 800k on smugglers coins, usually about 50k a turn. I would get around 6-8 kingpin coins and always go back for the lucky buff. I hit the jackpot once and it was the magnus mount, boo. I also have 34 golden tickets. I dont really want anything off that vendor. Why don't they put the rancor on the vendor for a crap load of golden tickets? Or, it would be nice to trade in a golden ticket for, I dont know, say 40 smugglers coins. That way, we can keep trying for the mount and not have to spend as much. I know its a gamble. I know people make a lot of coin in the game. Myself, I just level characters for the story line and pvp, so I am not a big money maker. I can use pvp comms as well...but I still have plenty of gear to get for pvping. Anyways, I will keep at it, when i save up a little more. Good luck to ya'll!
  8. Hey guys and gals, I was going to write this in the vanguard forum section, but thought i could get some feedback from some PT's too. I understand that our job is not to lay down a ton of damage in pvp. We protect our healers or dps while attacking or defending objectives. I feel like i could not fight myself out of a wet paper bag most times. I hear a lot of people say that our dps is good and i see some folks in pvp do very well. I am not one of these people. I would like to hear from some of you other vanguards or Pt's on how you play. This is my main and have been playing since beta with a few breaks here and there. Right now, i am full conq defense gear and elite supercommando weapon with the exception of the boots and the earpiece (both are combat tech for crit and surge) I had the combat tech gloves, wrist, and belt, but recently switched those to supercommando. Only a few pieces augmented because i thought i should wait till i upgraded everything to elite first. So, i am sitting at around 96% accuracy 20% crit and 60% surge. I have bio and use the power 52 resuseable, think i am about 520 ranged damage. 13% def chance and 30% shield and absorb. The 2 relics i am using are the one that grants a shield and protects from damage and the other grants shield rating proc. I hear i should be using the power proc ones, but not sure. So, i have my guard on my healer and both taunts are usually on cooldown. My rotation is somewhere along the lines of, storm (but not to far away from my guarded friend), stockstrike, ion pulse, HIB, and the 36 talent that gives back some ammo. I will throw the sticky grenade and use both channeled damage abilities as well. I no not work shoulder cannon into my rotation very often, i think just because i am not use to that ability. I usually try to hit the enemy healer and stay on target, disrupting, and cryo nading, but i am usually just an slight bother to them. If i am not with my brother healing (who usually follows me into the fray), i will stick around the friendly healer and do the same thing to the enemy dps attacking our healer. I just feel like i can do better in the dps department without leaving the tank spec which i really enjoy playing. I am not saying i want to have 500k damage and 20 kills, but 100k damage just does not cut it, when i feel i am always fighting when i am alive. Any advice would be great. If it's a learn to play thing, please, tell me whats up. If you have ideas on different tank specs or rotations, im all ears. Thanks for your time.
  9. Hey bud Well, depends on what you really feel like playing. Op has the healing and stealth and sniper is straight dps. As of now, the sniper is a really good class to play in both pve and pvp. I am speaking more of pvp though. They are tough. But, sometimes you feel like healing, or maybe you just want to stealth through that pve zone to the next objective. The best suggestion I can make is to create the opposite AC on the republic side. That way you can see how the class is played differently as well as enjoy a new story. Unlike myself were I have alts of the same AC's on the same side, etc etc. i have a mess on my hands. Good luck, and enjoy the game.
  10. Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the same. Since a tank spec shouldn't be about DPS anyway and more about protecting. Hopefully, a few more will give their thoughts or what works good for them. *Last night after being on the trooper all day, I switched to a few alts to play some pvp. It was a frustrating night. It didnt matter who I logged on to, i was getting destroyed. I was on my dps sage with full WH and a few Elite WH pieces and only had 19k hitpoints while the 36 smuggler standing next to me had close to 24k hps. Same thing with my healing commando. After taking many, many whoopings, I switched over to some lowbie toons (in the 40's) and had the same luck. Rough night. Looking forward to getting back on the trooper tonight haha......
  11. Howdy, I was wondering how you Vanguard pvp tanks out there where planning to gear yourself. Before these pvp tank changes, i used a shield gen and had the 4 set supercommando bonus. I used a dps weapon and pretty much all other slots were dps. Should we be using more def/shield/absorb gear with 2.0? I feel like i would like to add any dps stats i can, i havent been doing much damage and i am dropping pretty quick in my WH gear. I know it is still early, but maybe some folks messed around with it on PTS. Level 55 is soon. What do you guys think before we start buying gear. Thanks.
  12. Have fun in Austin and enjoy the music! We are suppose to have 500k more people here during the week. Should be a blast. Just be careful on I 35, traffic gonna be rough. Haha.
  13. Think about one guy with 4-5 smashers in a pvp match all jumping to the same target or attacking a node. Guilds or premades may have that kind of coordination, but a mutliboxer would be pretty rough to a random team or pug.
  14. I always looked at is as this person is my team mate, or on my side, why not lend a hand. Your help should be appreciated no matter the situation. Help them kill their mob, buff them and be on your way. From time to time, I also will help out a dirty Imp. I really enjoyed this in Guild Wars 2, because not only are you helping, but you are also getting exp and loot from who you are helping kill and everyone is happy. I wish there were group events in TOR that would bring a lot of people together for a short time while questing. Lend a hand, why not make the next guys/gals day a little brighter/easier.
