  1. I can explain. You assume everyone is like you. This will never be the case. It's most likely you are a young man or woman just starting out in the world and have yet to experience other people around you who do not share the same beliefs as you. This is ok. I used to be like that in my teenage years. As you grow older, your life experiences will help you understand that everyone has different interests other than yours. It's quite shocking at first because you honestly believe that your way is the only way cause that's the most fun. But that's fun for you, maybe not for someone else. For example, some people like to rollerblade. I can't stand it. Am I wrong? Are they wrong? There's no wrong answer. We are all built differently. One day you will "get it". Today is most likely not that day.
  2. I really don't get why some of you don't want an LFG tool. I can't see how it benefits you NOT to have one. If you don't want to use it, you don't have to which means you won't have ninja's, baddies, or whatever your excuse is not to have the LFG tool. There are those of us who actually want to do flashpoints but can't find enough people to do them. An LFG tool will help that situation tremendously. Also, at least in WoW, the LFG tool has worked out great for me. Sometimes you'll get a horrible group or some *** in it but for the most part, it's been great. I get to do several heroics per day and it's a lot of fun. I would like the same experience here in SWTOR.
  3. I believe SWTOR will be here for many years even though they had some setbacks recently. They are learning how to develop an MMO like Blizzard had to. There are growing pains but I think they are actually doing a better job than SWG. I tried to love SWG, I really did but it was one bad move after another and I eventually unsubscribed the first year. If SWTOR continues making big mistakes, it will fail. I don't think they will. From the little pieces of info they offer, it seems they have a lot of plans for the future of this game and I'm hoping the mistakes they made recently will teach them as they move forward. They made some stupid decisions but they have tried to correct them as soon as they could. It's a descent game and it needs improvements here and there. Let's hope they learn quickly and add some cool stuff.
  4. I think the real concern is the op's lack of knowledge using paragraphs.
  5. I completely agree. I think all the space missions are done well graphically. Now if they only took us off the rails and added pvp or co-op missions.
  6. Leap and sweep are actually not usually used together. If you do, then you are hurting yourself especially in PvP so I can't agree with that example. So far, I haven't missed having a macro option and I really don't think it's needed and this is coming from a player who had everything macro'd in WoW. I should be more clear why you wouldn't use them together to help you understand. If you use your leap first, you can get knocked back immediately. If you just used Sweep, there goes that damage out the window. Leap should be used after your knockback or when someone is kiting and you need to close the gap.
  7. I was tired of the low FPS and lag issues and was really tired of the blurry, crappy graphics. I wanted to enjoy this game with at least descent graphics so here's what I did... I have an older rig. 2.45 (overclocked) Duo Core , 2 gig ram, 9800GTX+ (OC) running on Windows XP so I'm not going to get top of the line performance but most games run very smoothly except this one, even on low settings (the weird thing I found out is that it runs better on higher settings). After patch 1.2 it got really bad and some places I was seeing 3 fps and lagging on Fleet and warzones terribly (I had set all graphics to low). So here's what I did and hope this helps. I wish I had done this more methodically to find out what did the trick. - Defrag hard drive - Set the pagefile to double my ram and gave it the same values (Initial size 4092 and Maximum size 4092) (Since I did this, the stuttering while moving my character around the fleet has decreased and I think this was a very important step) - Uninstalled nvidia driver and reinstalled updated ones. - Reinstalled Dirextx9c (you have to get the version where you can manually install it) Graphics settings on 1650x1050 resolution: - Fullscreen (Windowed) - Off - Vertical Sync - Off - Bloom - On - Conversation Depth of Field - High - Texture Quality - High - Shader Complexity - Low - Anit Aliasing - High - Character Level of Detail - High - Texture Anisotropy - Low - Shadow Quality - High - Character Texture Atlasing - 50% Grass Quality - 50% Tree Quality - Low - Visible Character Limit I have another hard drive collecting dust and I might use that second drive just for my pagefile to see if that helps any. I'm sure you can tweak the graphics settings but I hope this helps those of you who are having some fps/lag issues who have a similar system to mine. Good luck!
  8. I will both solo and team up with guild but my #1 goal is to win the warzone and if I can get some 1v1, 1v2, and even a 1v3 I'm a happy camper. I do enjoy the solo kills mostly, especially against multiple targets cause I know they are raging on their end, hehe.
  9. I am completely baffled why champ/cent gear was left alone while BM gear has increased expertise. I am completely confused and frustrated with that decision.
  10. I thought of logging on WoW and it hit me I'm bored to death of it so I continue to read posts here instead.
  11. I was thinking of playing Assassin's Creed Revelations. It's still sitting next to my 360 unopened.
  12. I read the SWTOR forums and watch youtube videos to improve my pvp.
