  1. I have to say the Alderaan superman outfit is tempting for a wide variety of uses.
  2. Jadus is a fun guy, I chose the 2.1 option, and it was an insane catch-22. Let mass-murdering psycho escape, dooming to another attack... Kill tens of thousands (mentioned as the casualty figures in a mail, dialog) to save millions maybe... or you can join, kill millions, all for power and the outside chance of having the people of the empire given more power over themselves. I'll tell you, Jadus and Thanaton make Baras seem like a beserk fatty blow-hard whose only reason for existence is to make his apprentice kill him.
  3. You're describing the gambler's fallacy. The RNG doesn't care how many times you failed. And also you don't count when it happens, because you don't keep track of statistical outliers in your favor because the human brain is wired to only keep track of what you don't like happening.
  4. Math says that there's a 10% chance that when you reverse engineer something 10 times you get no recipe. It isn't accumulated. Each and every chance is a new roll. You don't seem to mind it when you get the recipe first try.
  5. You lose all learned recipes and accrued skill points when you hit that little x. It all goes away. You're making a choice here, and it is also not technically feasible to track every recipe over every profession for every one of your characters on every server.
  6. And Ziost is mentioned enough that we'd really need to see it in play next time the Republic goes on offense.
  7. The differing view points on how each person views their character and their reactions brings different themes to be more prominent. Many argue that going straight HATE RAGE HATE HATE Inquisitor buries a lot of good stuff under the barrier of generic seething rage.
  8. I remember a while back stating that the system is 'in place' for neutral awards. Is my gray Inquisitor going to get some goodies in 1.3?
  9. The empire gets kicked out of the core, but leaves the three planets smoldering messes. Alderaan had its forces kill themselves over a civil war, Balmorra is a series of smoldering craters, and Corellia is all sorts of messed up. This along with the end of the Republic act 3s seem to put the two factions on even terms, which is better than the 'inevitable curb-stomp' that would have happened otherwise.
  10. If this part of act 3 were anything close to 'sane', I might be more inclined to agree with you. Belsavis is weird. It makes *Voss* with its peyote visions seem like normality.
  11. Empire characters get to start the war in style. It's pretty well explicit that the events of the Foundry will be taken as a declaration. Note this comes pretty late in ACT2, generally where it's accepted the war began in earnest.
  12. My favorite has to be from Belsavis Act 3 inquisitor, so additional spoilers It should be noted that the Inquisitor seems to be the Deadpool of the ToR characters.
