  1. I'd rather have a ghost town than a queue (or even a High pop server). I feel for you, though. If I could give you my transfer I would.
  2. Your post is as readable as the OP, which is to say: I could read either post without any difficulty but find myself instantly disinterested based upon obvious visual cues. But you put less effort into writing yours, so I guess you win. Congratulations.
  3. Short answer: no. Long answer: if I begin to feel that it is taking more effort for me to figure out what some chuckled is trying to say than he is putting into saying it, then I dismiss said chuckled as not being worth my time. This is different on two levels. The first is that I am only put off by poor grammar in it impedes understanding. The second is that I don't think I'm better than That Guy, I just don't think he's worth my time. Both of these are important distinctions.
  4. That is very disappointing. Should it become a trend in their event design then my subscription is going to have a short lifespan.
  5. people are complaining on the internet clearly this is the end times
  6. You know a post is really high quality when the thread moves in this direction.
  7. Now you're just being mean. If you had a bad growth on your face I wouldn't just bring it up all the time just to make you feel bad, so why do you have to keep reminding us about Texas?
  8. Threatening to quit is always silly. There is a not a single fault in any game ever that makes a threat to quit not be silly and absurd. The concept that the hood issue is any more trivial than any other game issue is equally silly and scorn-worthy. I think most of us could come together over the issue that threatening to quit is dumb, but we're hitting a stumbling block because much of the scorn is being directed at the poster's pet issue rather than the threat to quit. Frankly, I think the people who take that tack have no room to say anything about Mr. HoodOrI'llQuit. Scorn. Scorn for ALL of you.
  9. I hate the term "free to play". It is a lie. A more accurate term would be "Pay-to-win". I much prefer subscription based play to micro transactions. Development seems to shift focus to releasing tiny little things to be added to the games at cheap little prices, with more traditional content updates being fewer and farther between. At this point I am no longer willing to give any pay-to-win game a second glance, and that will include swtor should it change models.
