  1. Well, keep trying and don't get too discouraged. Some nights - even some *weeks* are just awful. Stick with the character/class/spec that you love, and it will pay off in time. If you see me on when you're pvping (I'm generally on Ruce, usually 9ish-midnight EST on most weeknights) it probably means I'm pvping too. I don't do too much else these days except raid once a week (if I'm lucky and the guild remembers what night to sign on). I'd be happy to queue with you or invite you to group.
  2. Thank you for all the hard work you and your guild put in for making world pvp events. I participated in a few of them and had a blast. Take care!
  3. Yeeeeaaaah ... sucks, doesn't it? They're the ones I see most who manage the 8 man premade. Kudos for staying in the warzones, though. I concur, meeting a Hoth Ski Patrol premade in regs is nothing close to fun. I don't learn anything either, I spend most of the time getting stun locked and waiting behind respawn doors. At least they're generally over fast. If I'm solo pvping, I'll generally stick the wz out (I hate leaving, even if it's a hopeless loss) but if I'm with a guildie, they won't put up with it and leave wz to get in a different rotation. As for making a completely different queue, I think regs are considered casual. As others have suggested, some improvements can be made to the matchmaking system. Not to be all doom and gloom, but considering we haven't seen a yellow post in the pvp forum in ages, I'm not even sure they concede that this is an important issue/concern for a lot of pvpers. The multiple, massive threads about premades and the huge player discussion for and against them should have warranted some kind of official response, even if it was to only let us know they were aware of it.
  4. As others have stated, Imps generally win more often than not (non-rated) on Pot5 and I'm pretty sure it's just due to faction numbers. You're more than likely to end up with 2-3 people queuing as a group from pvp guilds this way. I generally pvp a few hours most weeknights (9ish-midnight) and it's not unusual to only be matched against pubs once or twice. It's been my experience that going against pubs on Pot5 is usually (but not always) one of two extremes: 1) it's a premade and they're going to clearly demonstrate to you the many difference places lightsabers can fit or 2) it's a totally random PUG group and imps easily win. Most of the close matches seem to be imp vs imp. All that being said, I appreciate the pub pvpers on Pot5. It can't always be fun being on the lighter side of a faction imbalance, but you save me from always hearing the words "wargame simulation."
  5. I buy mats that I know I already have on alts just so I don't have to switch toons.
  6. One of the main reasons I made a healer was for the giggles. I'm loving that it's back, and I think the activation on the first TA proc is a good compromise for those who didn't want to hear it all the time. We're not laughing *all* the time and we have a distinct audible cue that doesn't get lost in the fray. I'm very happy about it.
  7. /signed Taking this feature out made my smuggler less of a joy to play. Nerf and balance gameplay all you want - I'll adjust and adapt. But I felt like taking the giggle away detracted from my smuggler's personality/character. She's not giggling anymore, and neither am I.
  8. I'm pretty upset they took it out. I'm just adding my voice to the rest in hopes they'll put it back in. I want my giggle back.
  9. I've been lost in Mass Effect 3 for the last month and I was really excited to return to my smuggler - until I realized she wasn't laughing. I cannot begin to describe how bummed I am about this. The laugh was a huge reason *why* I liked my smuggler! I don't need everyone to hear it, but it sure made me happy. I feel like half of my smuggler is missing. Would love to see this return client-side, as others have mentioned. Dang ... I don't even feel like logging back in.
  10. Or does this sound really, really familiar to anyone else? You've heard it getting off your ship at the Republic space dock: Something something .... then "Together, we stand taller than any obstacle. Let's get to work - together." I am wracking my brain to figure out where I've heard this before. I want to say it was from something funny. Maybe on Arrested Development? Better Off Ted? Parks and Rec? Even the cadence of how she says it is so incredibly familiar to me. I just feel like it's a dev easter egg and I can't for the life of me place it. I could be totally wrong and it's just weird deja vu, but I was really wondering if anyone else could shed some light on this for me.
  11. Just checking in: another girl gamer here with a big 'ol pixel crush on Corso.
  12. I have to smile every time I hear the little, teeny bell-like sound after the kick connects. And I agree with everyone who loves the crotch-kick-pistol-whip combo. I don't see it getting old any time soon.
  13. Loving these screenshots, everyone! Keep 'em coming!
  14. Captain Teek Sunflash - Scoundrel
  15. Some of the complexion options seem to add age, but that's all I've seen. I had never noticed it before now, but I think you're right about the no wrinkles thing.
