  1. The Si is politically more powerful as a member of the Dark a council. Save for intervention by the Emperor, The Si is effectively the chief executive of his sphere of influence. The Wrath does not serve as an executive. He instead acts as a watchdog at the Emperor's behest. He doesn't control any aspect of Imperial life. The Wrath is outside of the normal imperial chain of command and is not over the Dark Council. His authority only extends over the Dark Council when the Emperor himself gives him that authority
  2. If you stick to TCW then the lore is that the Ones as a race can "manipulate the force like no other". They have a racial advantage over Sidious. Their invulnerability is also a major issue. the son displayed force powers that no one has been able to match. The father noted that his children can rend the universe. I imagine that it's safe to say anything Sidious can do, the Son can do better. If you go by Abeloth as a measure, she was reputed to have the power of approximately a dozen Luke Skywalkers and she continued to gain power. She could be in multiple locations at the same time and cannot be permanently destroyed. It took the combined power of the Son and Daughter using tremendous technology to contain her. Sidious is not in that weight class.
  3. Darksiders we are aware of. 1) Potentially Anakin Skywalker (most potential, could have been the mediating figure over th Son and Daughter) 2) Son 3) Abeloth (an interloper to the Mortis family) 4) Sidious 5) Plagueis 6) Vitiate 7) Caedus 8+- Unnamed Sith who have been increasing the Sith's Power since Darth Bane for a millenia 9) Darth Zannah (who surpasses Bane) 10) Darth Bane/Revan (Arguably more powerful than Bane, but Bane was the perfect embodiment of Sith philosophy. At their height I'd imagine Bane edges out Revan slightly as Bane inherited Revan's dark side philosophy and perfected it) Honorable mention goes to Jerec who briefly tops the list for a few seconds. Lightsiders, omitting Anakin Skywalker, Jacen Solo/Caedus and Revan because of their appearance in the prior list 1) Kyle Katarn (obviously) 2) Daughter 3) Anakin Solo (briefly, otherwise replace with #4) 4) Luke Skywalker 5) Yoda 6) Mace Windu 7) Exile 8) Jek Porkins 9-10 Kyle Katarn (because he can).
  4. I am indeed referring to the Tatooine planet storyline but am trying to be as unspoilerific as possible. I'll address the good points you make here. 1) The emperor does have alot of power individually but there is nothing to indicate he can't be taken down by sheer numbers (and to a degree this is borne out by how he hides and protects his real body). 2) We don't actually know this. The characters who resist don't have to be force users. Similarly there isn't (to my knowledge) anything conceding that there is more trouble converting Force users. 3) We do see living characters get converted, and there is a dialogue reference suggesting the player lead its armies, so death isn't likely to be a prerequisite. As for an RTS, you can't compare our abilities to play a video game to this type of creature.
  5. At this point we all know that the Emperor can do a little brain invading and possess certain people. However he's not the only one in this stage of the timeline who can do something similar. For example, Killiks have this to some degree with a communal mind. On a mid level planet, we're introduced to a certain intelligence that borg-ifies a number of non-force sensitives into its personal army, even referring to to his minions as his "hands". To me, it seems entirely possible that he can possess them to a degree and act directly. For whatever reason (no spoilers) this cybernetic threat hasn't made its way out to the entire galaxy. This is as great a threat as anything we see in the game. Lets say an infected made its way to Korriban. Shortly thereafter, this intelligence could have an army of force users linked to its will. In addition, he can control his army directly (as opposed to a Sith Emperor that has to work through intermediaries). As a result, we have a singular malign intelligence which (potentially) can body hop. If a Sith Lord could work this, he'd be more omnipresent than Vitiate.
