  1. Yes, definitely. My group killed IP in 330s and as we progressed and got more gear it became easier. I think the nerf to IP will be fine and more groups will be able to kill it. I personally like this return to old operations, where you had to EARN the gear as you progressed instead of having max gear before entering the raid. Having max gear prior to entering the raid, lost part of the appeal and drive to clear a raid. The whole point was to prove your skill and show off the gear you earned. The various bugs need to be fixed: Appearing dead in the ops frame: a group shouldn't have to do an inventory of who is appearing dead, duel, stun and be ready for the fight. The hallway leading up to Kanoth: please explain why in Veteran Mode there are like 3 or 4 attractors all on top of one another that spawns way more adds then it should? My group can do it 2 pulls, 1 if we manage to kill the correct attractor immediately. But it shouldn't have to be that way. Honestly, this hallways is harder than Watchdog. Alt + F4 to see Horizontal and Vertical Growth: why do we have to do this? We should be able to enter the fight and not have to close out the game to see a mechanic. Yes, as a tank those stats are slightly better than purple gear. I've only picked up a few purple gear pieces for those that are better than 340 hazardous. Otherwise, I've prioritized the dps and heals in my group for gear. My group and raiders don't raid all hours of the day in their free time. For me, it's taken a bit of time to upgrade most of my pieces to 340 hazardous, I'm still not completely upgraded. I'm a tank though, it's not as needed. We prioritized getting the gear pieces my dps and heals needed but haven't spent all of our time upgrading like some groups have. We still made time to work on Lady Dominique since it doesn't require a fully upgraded group. My group hasn't completed it yet. Still working on Lady Dominique. However, it has bee helpful since my group could upgrade the pieces they didn't have in purple to 340 hazardous, then switch those pieces out when they got the piece. As a tank, since the stats are slightly better than tank purples. Definitely not. The armor sets are absolutely HIDEOUS. One of the worse looking sets in the game. Definitely not. See previous response. Definitely better looking armor. In past operations the armor sets looked better. Sure, the nightmare operation sets were always the best looking such as Kell Dragon and Dread Forged. Maybe return to something that is actually uniquely Star Wars. No, it's not uniquely Star Wars. It's a butterfly... One of my raiders really wanted this mount, so we did Kanoth like usual if it dropped great, if not also fine. It's dropped twice for our group and we've killed Kanoth far less times than most groups. Definitely not clearing R4 for the mount though. Yes, I'd like to see a clear drop chance for mounts. I would also like to see something uniquely Star Wars. In past operations the mounts made sense and looked absolutely amazing. The mounts from NiM TFB, SNV, EC, DF are absolutely still the best looking mounts in the game. DP fell short with its Dread Rancor, the wings from GFTM are meh, and a burning nexu doesn't quite feel like a reward from Dxun. Now we have butterfly wings, Kanoth isn't even wearing them... Thank you for allowing the community to provide their feedback to this operation. It's been fun so far despite the bugs.

  7. ^I taught that tank hm df/dp at tier...was good fun. I'm a tank, I have six republic side and I queue fairly often alone or with guildies. I have been in groups where I tank with a very new tank and I whisper him and explain things. I have also been in groups where my co-tank buddy felt the need to do everything himself and get us both yelled at for dumb stuff. And I've been in groups where I do all the work and get yelled at. I admittedly have an attitude in these groups for obvious reasons. I rather enjoy taking my stories back to my guildies to laugh at. We at least figure out which guilds and which individuals we don't want to run with EVER. There are a shortage of tanks. Tanking can be a steep learning curve for some and learning through group finder is a terrible way to learn tanking and ops but for some it's all they have. I generally try and give tanks the benefit of the doubt and assist them where I can. OP, you need to realize tanking in pugs can be stressful. Being nice goes a long way to ensuring that tanks continue to queue. It really isn't just your time they're wasting, its theirs too if you're unwilling to be patient with them. It is just storymode but if you're unwilling to give them the time needed to figure things out, you're only going to cause yourself distress.
  8. Just so you know...you misspelt your guild name in your recruitment title in both the Harbinger forum thread and the recruitment thread...
  9. What is the current NiM operations? The current tier only has HM of which you make no mention.
  10. Congrats! Good to hear you made some adjustments and downed him! He can certainly be a tough boss.
  11. I'm not sure what everyone else is talking about in terms of not wanting to taunt during scatter blaster but I vanguard tank in my group and I definitely use my aoe taunt just after I take the 2nd scatter blaster hit so that my shadow tank buddy gets sonic rebounder. We also have a vanguard dps that will aoe taunt so we both get sonic rebounders for the last set. That's just how our group composition is. But even having a guardian tank aoe taunt for guardianship isn't a bad idea. As long as both tanks are spread far enough from each other that they're not being hit by each others cleaves and heals are ready for tanks to take the damage you should be fine. Really its about positioning and timing. Tanks need to not cleave each other and heals need to be ready to expect increased damage on tanks. Also, don't know what your dps lineup is but, the dps with 1400 dtps is bad. If its melee, they're standing in cleave or taking damage from your exonium carts. They need to work on their raid awareness and move away from the boss for a few seconds, its unnecessary damage you healers don't need to heal. Both heals over 1500 dtps means they're getting pelted from adds. Tanks NEED to be on top of controlling them. Either by aoe taunting them, grabbing barrels, or placing mass barrage on them. I think from the log, you all just need to experience the fight a bit more and get comfortable with it. Your healers need to expect and anticipate heavy damage phases and regen during lulls in the fight. Your dps need to a better job staying out bad stuff and tanks need to not cleave each other and work on a better cd rotation for scatter blaster.
  12. I think itsrambo would have more class, if that even accounts for much. He at least would take all applicants, even if he does intend on just taking the loot for himself. Wouldn't it be just as loyal to be guilded under your guild tag, show up on time to raid, put in the time and effort to get the clear? Or am I missing something? Having to require your "hardcore" raiders to do conquests is a bit much, unless they want to do it. Requiring certain classes and specs aside you're excluding a large population of raiders that don't have the time to show up outside of raids to do conquests but are just as committed to your guilds progression even if they're only on for raid. Or maybe come on every now and then outside of raid to parse to be better. As a raid leader, you're really only shooting yourself in the foot by requiring such lofty demands. *tips fedora*
  13. Thanks to Rev, new thread is up. Have fun all!
  14. Not sick of the participants, I really don't mind everything that happens in the thread. Its entertaining to read through. Just tired of some other things in game. For those of you who messaged me about taking over the thread I will be replying in a bit. Thanks again.
