I still believe there could be Star Wars movie that would be able to fulfill my expectations because once upon time there was video game that nailed it, name of the game was Knights of the Old Republic. Little bit more about Snoke... Few positive things for a change... Gonna watch it again from bluray when it is released, I think my disappointment is subsided by then and I can watch it again with fresh eyes without expactations.
  2. Really mixed feelings about this, you could say I kinda loved it and hated it. I am also one of those few that liked Force Awakens, yes it was too much like reboot, but it created interesting mysteries like Snoke or who are Reys parents...
  3. I forget east and west all the time. Sure, I knew them when I was in school, but never used them after that. I know there is lot of other people like me that have forgotten, so east and west is not as ideal as some of you seem to think. You can say "all people know where east and west are" as much as you like, but it does not make it true. Luckily in most of warzones you can clearly see what nodes you have or where your team is, so just "INC" is usually enough, except in Voidstar can be bit tricky sometimes. I find "left right" from spawnpoint to be safest way to go, not perfect, but works much better than "east west".
  4. Same issue. I have content from Progenitor legacy bank, but not from Tomb of Freedon Nadd and The Red Eclipse. Items that are missing are worth more than 100 million credits (cartel items, gear, materials, flagship plans etc.). Nothing was merged, I can see only Progenitor legacy hold and no overflow tabs or anything like that anywhere.

I fear they wont bring light side Jaesa back at all, we lightsiders get just one extra dialog "I fell to the darkside when you were gone" and thats it, that makes choice I made on Hutta with Jaesa meaningless. I am fairly certain that is how it goes and I wont see my lightside Jaesa ever again. I think there was originally plans to bring for both Jaesa's (ds Jaesa was searching something, ls Jaesa was helping people, master Ranos said something like that), but it seems those plans have changed. I will be extremely disappointed if this is true.
  6. What if you would bring companions back in fully voice acted sidequests dedicated to them? Example: Jaesa Willsaam Default (non sith warrior classes) Dialog with npc defines Jaesa's alignment. Dark: We are chasing dangerous artifact You find out that dark jedi is also looking for dangerous artifact and there was another sith lord looking for same artifact, but dark jedi killed him/her. Light: We heard we could find potential jedi ally here You find out that this jedi is chasing sith lord that is trying to find dangerous artifact. With sith warrior Jaesa comes to you instead npc and together you chase sith lord (light) or artifact (dark). How about making companions part of main story same way than in class stories? I know, I know, there too many companions now to include all of them, so: New chapter, you can choose from 2 or 3 companions, companion 1, companion 2 or companion 3, if you killed companion 3 you can choose companion 4 instead or vice versa. Companion 1: Dialog in story, companion comments about something and MC responds, dialog countinues. Companion 2: Dialog in story, companion comments something different and MC responds something different, dialog countinues same way than in example above. Deepening relationship/making them feel that they are part of alliance instead just absent: Why companions are not seen in main story, like they don't seem to exist anymore? Because they are doing some other super important alliance stuff, in sidequest you help them and deepen bond with LI if you did not kill him/her.
  7. In middle of battle is hard to see if I am guarded by tank or dps, for me anyway. Offhealing dps doesnt make things more difficult to actual healer, only their own dps will suffer. Was answering this from above "Hybrid classes are vital for PvE- and in warzones, they can be disadvantaged without that utility. " , but was too lazy to quote it Anyways I am just bit bitter that guard swamp days are over and its back to single target guard, it took one friendly operative healer to start me doing guard swamp long time ago. Have played mostly pvp tank in this game, might switch to dps now, no great loss, was below mediocore tank at best, if even that.
  8. If dps is guarding healer, real tank cant guard that healer or that dps. If guard for dps so useless that you shouldnt even use it, then whats the point having it as dps? If opponent has a tank in pvp and your team dont, then you can even out things with hybrid, but you also can gain advantage in matches where opponent dont have class with guard. Its interesting to see if tank population goes even more down that it already has, if it does this affects pve group finder queue times too. Sure, you can respec, but grinding two sets of gear is bit chore now. So hybrid specs are needed for pve? So "sorry marauders/sentinels, no guard, no ops for you"? You cant hop to tank stance anymore anyway. Though I dont think those who like their dps guard has nothing to fear about losing it, I think its more likely to all dps get guard. Maybe they go so far that in future all classes are like companions now, all can heal, tank and dps equally.
  9. I have little different approach, I take things as they are, as factors that you cant control. I never expect no one to call incs, so if our team outnumbers enemies its time to check if something going on at other side. I have noticed that I am often only one attacking marked target and usually get killed by red wave of players that are around healer, but kinda understand why people avoid attacking healer because if only 1 is attacking that red wave kills you over and over again. Still focusing marked myself so I dont learn bad habits and start ingore them like majority seem to do. I do however to avoid guarding as I see those who spammed 1w, 2w, 3w, 3w!!! get blamed "Why didnt you call!?", I try to help myself of course and also go guard if I see it empty, but its most boring unrewarding job in wz and I personally have issues dealing with sins cc - phasewalk - whirlwind or two stealth classes when guarding. Anyway I enjoy more chaotic matches as there is more room for improvisation, so that might be reason why I have trouble to relate to complaints about chaotic warzones, I prefer chaos over order. Also bad wz doesnt frustrate or anger me, but trash talk in ops chat does. Anyone ever tried reverse psychology and marked everythin else but healers? Have been keybinding for a while with my G600 mouse, though not very comfortable with keyboard + mouse combination. Used to have fully augmented brutalizer + stims and all one time with tank jugg, got bombarded with insults again and decided "why borher when feedback is exactly same than before", now I am back to unaugged pvp gear. Have all 48 advanced classes and then some, though played only about 8 or more lately. jugg tank, merc heal and lightning sorc most. Played lately more lv 60 pvp lately, usually did mostly lowbies earlier. Had big break from pvp because leveled up some more alts with 12*xp. I apologize if I came up too strongly in my earlier post.

I have been active on pvp from early access, but I am still one of worst players in whole game (average dps 400, hps 1K, tank dps 150 [50 at arena], protection 100K, died +20 times in several matches). Thing is its different thing to know what to do than actually doing it, not everyone can break 1K dps no matter how hard they study or learn. If they are still able to enjoy should they still quit playing? No. Not everyone can be pvp superstar. Also who in their right mind would ask help from players that have insulted them over and over again in pvp? Your insult our intelligence because we arent that good, but lack it yourseld to act in civil manner that requires much less brain power than playing. Telling first timer in pvp or even in mmo:s that (s)he is an idiot and should uninstall isnt helpful. Never wondered why nobody cares about other players and everyone do whatever they want in wz? It cant be because all the rage can it? If you throw insults every time you see less skilled player what is most likely that will happen? "Oh no, I need to up my game then" or "/ingore"? Rage keeps skill levels low, but hey, maybe this is what they want, you need someone to stomp. So insults are harmless because they are not personal? Sure, if people have high self-esteem, but what if your insults are aimed to someone with low self-esteem that already thinks her- or himself worthless as human being? Sure, there are those pro players that are trying to improve pvp community, but they are quickly shot down by elitist players "how DARE that traitorous carebear cater casuals and newcomers in OUR game!". I thank you for trying though. Anyway us bads and casuals are come here to stay, so I am sorry, but you just need to deal with us or use "leave wz" -button. There isnt any non cotributing auto kick mechanics from dps under 1.5K, hps under 2K or prot under 200K in pvp, so we will be there. You dont decide who belongs in pvp, so whine straight to Bioware instead of other players, if they see your complaints as valid they will add gates something like I mentioned above or divide whole pvp to casual and elite queue buttons or something. Its obvious that us bads and casuals enjoy this game far more than majority of pro-players, so what are you doing here in the game that is known for having casuals as majority of playerbase? There isnt any competitive pvp here, without cross-server its pure guesswork who is number one. Sure, if someone gets highest rating in the game even from casual RP-server player must be pretty good, but from pvp server that players rating could have been much lower.
  11. This new backfilling system sucks. Now "no hope" situation is defined. 3 capped and farmed at spawnpoint is hopeless situation, 25% - 75% is NOT, but it is when it's 8 vs 6 or 5. I have been in team that turned around 80% - 2% to 0% - 2% win, best wz ever. Also been in losing side in hypergates with big lead when we didn't play smart and opponent dual capped. Without last minute reinforcement those matches would not have been possible. Either of those teams wouldn't give up in difficult situation and got rewarded for it, but last minute backfills made this possible. Earlier I didn't mind those who leave because they did us favor by leaving, they didn't have motivation to play difficult battle with low chance of winning and they offered also chance to get better fitting class. I hate idea of WZ leaving penalty, but now it is necessary if player leaves within time where there is no backfill because leaving in that time takes away any chance to turn things around. Also new system rewards for leaving and punishes staying. Those who leave get backfilled in better WZ and us who stay will play without backfill when things go badly. Maybe as casual, bad or whatever I just don't understand how things work. Maybe I should start leaving when there is first sign of trouble. That's how this game seem to meant to be played right now.
  12. Why not encourage players to play Flashpoints, Warzones, Operations, dailies, open world PVP etc. by offering dye packs or CC coins as rare drops or something like that from them as alternative for real money?
  13. /antisigned I dont want to play lv 50, but I dont have a choice because eventually my character is at level 50. I play for fun and lv 50 was not that. You say it takes only week to get competitive gear, but what about augments. Rather remove bolster from ranked, make it easier to access, put all gear grind in there and make it so that starting gear for ranked you can grind from regular bolstered lv 55 wz. Leave regular 55 for us bads. You wonder why there is bolster. Well, I assume because players complained about solo-queue option and something had to be done, so thus bolster.
  14. Being good takes lot of time and work and even that wont quarantee that you actually woulld be good. Some come here to have fun and relax not to work, some dont have enough time, some just dont have talent to perform well no matter how hard they try. Over 20 abilities to use and you should learn to counter with them, I dont even know most of the time with what ability foes are attacking, let alone counter them. This isnt easy game (at least for me). But anyway, I found my solution in under 50 wz and this game will be dead before all my alts hit 50 if this keeps going. Its better to be some use in under 50 than be burden in 50. It starting to be VERY clear that us bads or casuals or newcomers and pros or competitive players wont fit in same warzones, so maybe there should be minor league for us and major league with skill based rating requirement for them?
