  1. Something wrong with figuring stuff out yourself? I play the game to have fun, reading already developed strategies is having someone figure the answer out to a problem. That's boring. In addition, I agree with the earlier person. This should just work, the game has been out for a month and a half and looting still isn't working as it should. You SHOULD NOT have to research forums for basic everyday things that should work.
  2. What's the deal with getting JUST tokens and schematics in Nightmare mode in EV? That is 100% stupid **** that should have been fixed a month ago.
  3. So, this is one of a billion bugs which have already caused me to lose 3 active raiders to canceling their subscriptions due to bugs. Please fix this, as well as the plethora of other bugs/errors that you (the devs) haven't commented on. It really is getting a little absurd at this point. Thanks.
  4. I'm not even going to respond to that, except to say if you don't agree with DM's how can any of you disagree with adding combat logs? Half the time I die, I have no idea what ability killed me or for how much it hit.
  5. Monitoring damage is certainly needed, but just as important is figuring out how you died. Did lightning form an orb kill me? Or was it Soa's normal attack? Or was it an exploding orb? Not really anyway to tell right now, or to monitor what amount of dmg I'm taking. No combat log is just completely nonsensical and there is no good reason to include "hard" and "nightmare" modes and then claim you want to cater only to the casual.
  6. Completely agreed. The option to use numbers would be very welcome as well so that order is intuitive instead of confusing.
  7. Come on now. How someone uses the tool is their own choice. Should we stop making knives because someone stabs someone with them? The argument that people will use the logs to be negative is a moot point. Bioware can't dictate inter-guild politics, but they can give us tools we need to be more engaged in their game. Casual players should join or create casual guilds, it's just that easy.
  8. I really just don't see a valid argument against combat logs and damage meters. Just don't use them if they are so offensive to you...
  9. In addition, no combat log makes it damn near impossible to find out what killed you...
  10. Then don't use them? I can be an option turned on or off, but it makes analyzing fights, specs, equipment, classes, rotations, really anything, impossible.
  11. How does damage meters reduce the challenge?
