  1. The one thing that ticks me off about the F2P restrictions is not getting loot when I finish a quest. It really seems unfair to restrict things like lock-boxes. I understand that I can't have purple stuff and I'm already making less XP but to keep loot away just sucks. I hate finishing a mission/quest and have the box pop up and say Select your reward and none are available.
  2. Seems to only work if you are in the vicinity of one. For instance if I am out in the boonies on Alderaan and pull up the map there obviously isn't one in my area so I click to see the planetary map I still don't see any. Now if I'm near the spaceport and pull up the local map I can see one. But I would have to know that there was one nearby in the first place. I just think it would be handy to ALWAYS have one in my hangar. The other reason is I can't tell you how many times I land and then go "WAIT, I need something from my cargo hold". Then you have to hop back out to orbit, access your hold, land again...... Waste of time plus you have to look at all those loading screens again!
  3. I get tired of having to search all over to find a Cargo hold access terminal. And I don't want to have to jump into my ship and launch into orbit just to grab an XP boost or something. Since they don't show up on the Large planetary map it would just be easier to know that there is always one in my hanger. Or you can put one in each spaceport lobby. I just think in the hangar would be more appropriate. You can even make it a Legacy unlock or something I can buy on the CM. Thanks!
  4. After a long break from this game I thought I would give it another shot. I spent a good part of the day yesterday re-installing the game only to login and find all my characters have had their abilities wiped out and I have to redo them all. Grrrr, but what are you gonna do right? So I spent the evening getting all my characters setup the way I think they should be but by then it was late and I was tired so off to bed I go. Today I fire the game back up ready to give it another try, but wait, the freaking launcher needs to reorganize my data? At the rate it was going, I might be have been able to play some time this evening. Frak that. So I'll just uninstall and go back to EMU and wait for the next SW game to come out. So disappointing
  5. Resubscribing so I can play with it on PTS and hopefully it won't suck like the rest of the game. If it doesn't suck then since I'll have early access I'll play it till my 2 months run out and go back to F2P.
  6. Look, they have to stroke and pet their pretty little PVP'rs or they get their hair all ruffled up, take their toys and won't play anymore. Then EA loses money. They are not interested in the PVE/RPG'r or the ones who play just because it's Star Wars. They want more money, the PVP'rs will blindly continue to pay for more content so that is who they are going to coddle. It is sad that they are completely ignoring anyone who isn't buying the expansion and treating them as the red headed step child, but that is what the plan is. Shame those who didn't pay until they give up and buy in. So yeah, you now have to purchase the end game (again). I hear the Basilisk server is up, think I'll dust off my macro file and go there for a little while till they figure this game out.
  7. http://news.msn.com/us/video?videoid=e75acc22-07a7-091c-45a2-6d90a9639aa3&ap=true Lord I wish this was a bad April Fools Joke.
  8. All kidding aside, I would love for them to toss a couple of otherwise meaningless time-sinks in this game like Pazaak or something. I'm one of those RPG kinda people that log into the game and just adventure around when I'm bored. It would be great to have something to do in the game that wasn't combat. Pod racing or Gaming or something else that was interactive with other players but didn't require the best gear and skill rotation pattern. Now Devs; please don't take too much time away from creating more operations or wz's that I'll never play anyway (but I don't want the PVP'rs complaining that they aren't getting yet another PVP thing because you are wasting time on us PVE/RP'rs), but when you have spare time, please think about those of us who are here because it is Star Wars and we just like to be here.
  9. April Fools right? I mean really, you expect me to believe that they admit there is a memory leak and that they fixed it? Sure.
  10. ...why none of the space ships around have bathrooms or showers? Maybe that's what the Escape Hatch is for!
  11. Wrong, everyone downloads ROTHC, you just can't access it unless your account has it unlocked. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=6049503#post6049503
  12. Except then where would there be endgame for those who do not purchase the expansion. Don't forget, not everyone wants to toss more money at EA/BW, for them endgame is still level 50.
  13. Thanks to those that responded. Now that I see clearly how it is broken down, I can make an informed decision about buying it for my regular and my F2P accounts. I had gone to the Game Updates page but didn't go to the bottom to find the link, I expected it to be on the page with the rest of the current stuff.
  14. Well after scanning around the boards, (and even in this post) I see I'm not the only one that is confused! I would like to know what is reportedly in 2.0 and separately I would like to know what is in ROTHC. Reading the forums has only confused me more! It gives the appearance that BW is trying to say "Look at this great 2.0 update that came out as promised", when the 2.0 update is fluff and the real stuff is in ROTHC. I guess I'll just wait and be surprised!
