  1. Hello everyone. Apparently they are actively noticing the fact that people want a higher character limit for their survery answers and are updating the surveys accordingly: I have seen some who claimed a limit of 50, one who had a limit of 60 and I personally had a limit of 400! This being said, my answer ended up being 4761 characters long so I just kept the first paragraph and copied it all to be able to paste it here (in bold what would be my most beloved feature, in italics an idea I deem rather interesting): I very, very deeply wish for the ability to replay chapters of previous expansions and of the base game, especially if it were possible to do them at varying difficulty levels. A graphical change I would really like is the possibility to remove light trails when using vehicles: I like it that engines become bright but the fact that they (the engines or the wings of the vehicle or whatever) leave a bright, colored filament is unrealistic and while I believe it is designed as such to provide an increased sense of motion, I also believe that it is not necessary. I look forward to the Master difficulty for KOTFE and KOTET chapters. As someone with 19 level 70 to level 55 characters, I look forward to the quality of life improvements to Galactic Command for alts. I would love to see a new operation, possibly with a build-up like with the Dread Masters: having the bosses be characters mentioned in previous stories and encountered multiple times before the operation itself. It would be interesting, after having unlocked a Stronghold decoration once, to have the possibility to buy more copies of it by using cartel coins (of course while still being able to unlock more of them by obtaining the 'item-proper' version of the decoration, as we are able to do now). I would like to see some added content to - or revision of - Galactic Starfighter: speaking as a fairly seasoned player, I think that one of its main issues is the new-player retention, caused by the mechanics of that game mode which take some time to get used to, by the fact that new, unupgraded ships are weaker than upgraded ones, and by the fact that in every match there usually are some experienced players with upgraded ships which help in making the opposing team's new players feel helpless. A possible solution could be to incentivize the playing of GSF by new players by having increased rewards (as in credits, experience, CXP) if their total Fleet Requisition ever acquired (possibly across the entire legacy) is lower than a certain amount: if enough new players start playing, the impact of the skilled, seasoned ones will be lessened since they will not be populating every single match. Another possible solution might be to introduce a wingman system by which there are increased rewards if two players, one with Fleet Requisition higher than X, the other one with Fleet Requisition lower than X, queue for a match as a group. Something that would improve my experience would be to have more players around (I've used the 90cc character transfer discount to move the aforementioned 19 characters from Tomb of Freedon Nadd to The Progenitor but the situation of the population is, albeit stable, not very bright. Then again, I'm sure a population increase is something you would like to see as well... One thing that could be done and might be interesting is a renewal of the marketing of the character stories of the base game (maybe in conjunction with the possibility to replay those chapters, hint^ hint^) and doing that you could engage the community by holding a contest: you could ask players to create and submit spoiler-light trailers for each class, and possibily for each planet's story arc as well, at which point you could pick the best ones (and not necessarily only one per class/planet) and officially publish them. Another idea for marketing the class stories could be to ask players, on the forum, to write a short sentence trying to describe a specific class' story, or the player's experience with that class, and then you could create short video-collages about each class. Also, I believe that quility of life improvements for Free to Play players could impact positively their retention and their willingness to spend money: as it stands right now, F2P players have little to no access to the 'Cartel Market economy' (unless they pay to remove some of their restrictions): having such severe restrictions on the amount of credits they can carry and on their capability to trade with other players, I think that Free to Play players are unlikely to get interested in the Cartel Market (especially the cap on the credits I imagine to be a hindrance): if the conditions were such that they could start buying - or better, collecting - something from the Cartel Market by using the GTN, I think that they would become more invested in the game and the system of the Cartel Market. On top of this, more people buying Cartel Market items would mean more demand for said items: even if F2P players would not end up buying the cartel coins and the packs themselves, the increased demand could provoke an increase of the offer as more people would buy packs (to meet the increased demand). I look forward to re-obtaining former companions in the upcoming expansions!
  2. This didn't work for me, as he cast the ability anyway
  3. Update/Solved(!!!): the glitch appears to have been fixed! I have checked starfighter laser bolts/beams, "light pylons" on enemy corpses that indicate loot, vehicle lightning links and lightning ability effects! Everything was probably fixed a month or so ago, though I'm not sure with which update, specifically (I haven't played my Sorcerer much and once I got used to the glitch it became hard to even notice it in general). I'm also fairly confident that there haven't been driver updates for my video card so the issue and subsequent fix probably came from the Bioware side. Lastly, I don't know whether this thread has been helpful in solving the issue but wish to thank Tait and everyone else who has paid attention to it Time to use lightning strikes and admire their beauty!
  4. Done. I would have regardless of any pre-order bonuses
  5. There's a guild named Equites (horse) Levis on my server, do you happen to be one of its members, by any chance?
  6. Even though it may not contain the answers you specifically seek, dulfy's website is definitely the most up-to date one, providing class guides, patch updates, flashpoints and operations guides and event guides among other things. As for your questions about social armor, it, like any adaptive piece of gear (which icon has an orange border), is set to heavy/medium/light based on your class/advanced class so the armor you gain from it is calculated this way. As regards as the other stats, though, thay all come from the mods that you put in. Lastly I would suggest you ask whatever you wish to know in the Fleet's chat. While you won't receive serious answers by everyone, there usually is someone willing to help.
  7. Non-repeatable conquest objectives, such as the one that requires to craft "Invasion Force", are non-repeatable legacy-wide, meaning that when you complete the objective on one character, he - and only he - will get the objective reward and you will not be able to do that same objective on any other character on that server.
  8. I just had it running in the background as a looped YouTube video (alternatively I could've downloaded and put it in with an editing software but I was in a bit of a hurry at the time). The reason I've used it instead of the SWTOR audio is that all those mounts on the stairs and in the last room make their spawning sound once the character is close enough and, in particular, in the starting balcony they can be heard spawning and despawning just by moving around. Edit: by the way, that soundtrack was first introduced in KOTOR and could be heard when visiting the planet's main settlement: .
  9. I see your point of view and I may set up other Strongholds this way, but in defense of the symmetrical, aligned and clean design: do you not clean up before you have guests? Wouldn't a mansion capable of hosting the highest ranking dignitaries coming to visit a Dark Council member/Jedi Master/Havoc Squad Leader/the Wrath/etc. be always kept in pristine conditions?
  10. Thank you I love your set up of the room with the window to the balcony:jawa_eek:
  11. Well, even with the same set of items there are multiple combinations achievable.
  12. Oh, thanks for the notice, it should work now. I'd copied/pasted it twice by mistake and when cleaning it up I have missed a couple of pieces
  13. I'll start off with a video of my an early and crude version, I'll be sure to update with more videos and screenshots as I improve upon it once i get more decorations. in the meantime, I'm curious to see what you guys have come up with!
  14. Are you proud of your perfectly arranged guests room yet no one comes visit it? Do you want to show off your 100% completion but you feel your server's population is too small? Or perhaps you want to point out a design philosophy and share it to create a discussion? Whichever the case may be, you have come to the right thread! One in which to post videos, screenshots and descriptions of your Stronholds. You have asserted your power across the Galaxy, now bask in it on the forums!
  15. Perhaps what I said applies only to mounts as I've only had time to test those before the servers shut down.
