Yeah this is still happening as of noon EST on 12/26. Some nodes are fine, but most cannot be interacted with. Highly annoying.

I'd just like to be able to move the default party frame around, so I can get it closer to my quickbar. I don't always hit the keyboard shortcut for the heal... sometimes I like to click.

I noticed the same problem as the OP, but specifically between Day 1 EGA and Day 2. I think it had to do actually with the number of players in the area, which makes me concerned about whether or not this was bandwidth related or Polygon/Game-Engine related. Things were definitely slower in the same area between the two days, with no client/hardware changes. The only thing different was the server population.

Yeah I should have called in sick, but eating and a roof over my head is sort of required. For those that ask; pre-order code entered 7/21, and I got the email at 7:23 AM today. Grats to anyone home and playing.
