  1. What are the odds of this getting fixed properly? I wanted as many companions on my main character but this bug made Koth Vortena "The Exiled Officer" even though I made sure he would not misbehave, so to speak. This breaks my main character and I would rather not roll a new one only to avoid doing Jedi Under Siege until this is fixed. Has BioWare acknowledged this at all?
  2. My sub ends in 4 days and I will not be resubscribing. They nerfed the already-lacking merc healing (in pve) into the ground and killed the carolina parakeet spec for my powertech. I will still be keeping an eye open to see how things develop so I might resubscribe when the final patch notes are in but until then, I'll save 15$.
  3. /signed My main server is a wasteland and does not compare to my alternative. I'd rather not have to level 4 toons back in their 30s. Character transfers would be nice!
  4. Are the companion bonus to gathering crew skills only tied to the missions? Let's say I use Scorpio (+2 crit to Slicing), does the bonus apply if: 1) The player gathers a node instead of the companion with the bonus? 2) The companion with the bonus is not your active companion? And lastly, does the bonus even apply to gathering nodes?
  5. My thoughts on which RP server's community is the best: Nobody is better than anyone else that everyone is the best anyway. Try them out and see which one fits YOU best.
  6. I am the kind of player who likes to tackle champions, bosses and the likes with only a companion. So far, every classes has been able to solo the champions up to, but not including, Nar Shadda. My powertech/Mako combination fell short against the 40k HP champion (who's name I cannot recall) on Nar Shaddaa but managed to down the others. What I would like to know is which class/companion combination would be best to solo champions/bosses/elites that are level-appropriate preferably without it taking forever? I call upon you, Classes forum people!
  7. I've heard this so many times on my server. Trooper vs Bounty Hunter (Full Auto/Unload, Mortar Volley/Death From Above), Imperial Agent/Smuggler (Debilitate/Dirty Kick), Jedi Sage/Sith Inquisitor (Project/Shock) for example. I even have heard of Shiv versus Shockstrike. I am sure there are plenty more and it needs fixing. They're mirror classes so they should, in essence, be in equal at their core. From a strict technical point of view, those are Imperial advantages.
  8. ...for the RP server that is the most adequate for me. I've talked with a lot of people, rolled a lot of alts, visited a load of websites and joined plenty of RP channels but I just can't seem to pinpoint one regardless of faction. The main problem is that most of the servers with active roleplaying guilds are either force users centric or Light side. I roleplay (or at least am trying to) as a shady starship parts dealer and part-time arms dealer. Suffice to say, neither of those are very compatible with force users or light-oriented guilds. I have thought about creating my own guild to promote roleplay but a business guild needs another guild to work with since, you know, business is a two-way thing. The second problem often is the lack of people to clear heroics and flashpoints. I roleplay as much as I do PvE content but there does not seem to be a balance on any servers. Out of desperation, I ask one more time: which server would be best for the above? Signed, A very desperate roleplayer
  9. Hello crafters! I am currently leveling a bounty hunter and I have just reached the Imperial Fleet. I have been wondering which professions I should grab. I like slicing: there is something appealing to cracking codes and safes for credits. However, I would also like a crafting profession to keep my gears up-to-date while leveling. The problem? To craft anything good while leveling, you need to have both the gathering and mission professions tied to your crafting skill, leaving no slot for slicing. I intend to be armormech, armstech or cybertech at level 50. Still undecided. My question is this: which combination would be best for me? 1) Crafting profession, Scavenging, Underworld Trading (Credit sink) 2) Scavenging, Underworld Trading, Slicing (powerlevel crafting profession at 50) 3) Crafting profession, Scavening, Slicing (and just craft using AH mats) Thoughts?
  10. I've been thinking of rolling a character on Lord Adraas. Is it as good as they say? I would play on the Republic, being tired of the Empire. Probably an alien race considering the overwhelming amount of humans. Looking to be involved in the RP community
  11. I am glad someone has taken the initiative of doing this! Kath Hound is a very nice server, one I am glad to be a part of. I also know that there are roleplayers, a lot of them! Empire-side at least. I am available whenever because as a professor, I am on break until school starts. My character will be of the appropriate level for Nar Shadaa real soon.
  12. Hello fellow roleplayers! I have been searching for a server for quite some time now but I have yet to find one that is satisfactory mostly thanks to the lack of a guild recruitment channel. I am searching for a server that preferably does not have a queue and where roleplaying is very much alive. I am a newbie to both roleplay and the Star Wars universe but I know what I would like to roleplay. My problem is being very picky about the class I want to play. As opposed to many people, I dislike force-using classes and prefer bounty hunters and imperial agents (or their Republic counterparts). If your server is short on any of their advanced classes, that is a big big plus! The same applies to professions although for roleplaying purposes, I tend to lock myself into roleplay-centric combinations. Anyway, I am searching for a friendly guild on an equally friendly server. Any suggestions?
