Hi guys, Returning SWTOR player here and I was looking for some advice for gearing. Since I solo mostly and don't really have access to the higher lvl gear I was wondering what would be the best setup of crafted gear for a Vengeance juggernaut. My cybertech is 450, so I can craft the Advanced X Armoring 28s and the Advanced X 28 Mods. Haven't really kept up with the earpieces, but could reverse engineer the ones I need. Basically if you had to build a toon just using crafted pieces, which pieces would you use to get the most bang for your buck? Would you add any Advanced Guardian pieces? Or would it be a waste? I can put together a Mr Robot profile later tonight when I get home from work if that helps. Any advice or thoughts to point me in the right direction would be helpful. Thanks,

Hi guys, I'm starting to lvl up a new sniper and he should reach 55 by the time 2.4 goes live. Since Conqueror will be the new low set of PvP gear, I was wondering if someone could guide me on which pieces to get or point me to a min/max guide. Greetings fellow marauders, I was wondering what is the best way to setup your key binds for all the abilities? This is mainly for PvP. I keep mixed answers regarding movement and camera turning. I've heard that I should move with the mouse and key bind your abilities for faster activation. At the same time I've heard that movement should be done using WSAD and use the mouse for camera turning. The problem with this for me is I find it hard to remember using the shift key + whichever key bind, so I'm forgetting to use half of my abilities. Basically I am trying to get better so I don't fell like dead weight on my team and be the only marauder who does pitiful damage. I started PvP late and currently have recruit gear, and I know that I'm going to get slaughtered until I can get better gear. Any thoughts or links you can point me too for best key binds would be helpful. Thank you,

I think the OP has a right to complain. I did the same thing and bought a x24 Space Pack and ended up with a bunch of junk. I know it's random but it makes me wonder how much real money people spent to actually get the good items. I knew the chances to get one of those Imperial thrones or Republic hover chairs were between slim and none but I figured out of 24 packs I would get one thing good, Maybe a weapon. I got 2X Longspur STAPs (Big deal) A bunch of crates for belts and bracers (A lot of junk) At least 4-5 pets (Again junk) 6 Intimate emotes (Really?) Some rare metals and jems (Meh) A bunch of companion gifts (Meh) All of the stuff listed above could easily be bought on the GTN for a lot less than I spent on the 24 packs. After that big letdown, I will never buy another Cartel pack again. It is just not worth it.

Hello all, Is it possible to min/max decently just using war hero gear? The EWH seems so far away to get with a Merc. I started PvP late, so that's my own mistake. So if you could only use War Hero gear, which pieces would you get? And would you get multiple pieces of the same gear to improve your stats? Thank you in advance for the advice. Edit: I forgot to add that I am looking to do a DPS build using Arsenal.

Thanks for the quick response. I understand that we get the guard ability and can only shield or "guard" one person. I was talking about the ability that I've seen sorcerers/sages cast on a group. I'm also guessing that is what the group was talking about.

Hello all, Sorry for my n00bish question by I am still learning this class. Anyway, I was teaming with a group of players (2 sentinels, 1 Vanguard, and my Jedi Shadow). We were doing some heroic quests when one of the sentinels asked me to cast shields on everyone. Now as far as I know, this is a jedi sage ability, not a jedi shadow ability. I mentioned to the team that I didn't have shields (or bubbles whichever everyone prefers) and I only had an ability called "Kinetic Ward" to protect myself. Of course at this point I kept getting the "N00b L2P UR Class" replies and I simply thanked them for the group and left. Since I am only lvl 22 and my first attempt at playing a shadow I thought maybe I just didn't get the ability yet, but after searching my trainer and searching "TORHead.com", I didn't see it listed anywhere for a Shadow. So I am asking the community for some guidance in this matter to let me know if the ability comes at a later level? Or if I am right and Jedi Shadows do not get a shield ability other than "Kinetic Ward" if you spec "Kinetic Combat"? Thank you,
