  1. Thanks for the feedback guys been really good. I'm getting a few themes come through from this. Level up pat 37 lol, wait till you have more abilities/gear. Don't hit the front lines unless you have CD's and or a healer. In terms of spec. I've tried all 3. Rage seems to be the most durable and has pretty decent stopping power? agree? Carnange seem to have some really good stopping power but somewhat squisy? Annihilation at 37 doesn't seem overly amazing for stopping power or survival
  2. Are Marauders squisher, generally speaking, than other toon's in WZ's? do they get better ? I have a level 37 Mara at the moment that I play off and on. She seems to die a hell of a lot more than my other toons lol. I realise the dynamics are different to most toons in terms of survival I.E using your abilities such as force charge, camo, damage reduction shields, Predation etc at the right time to increase survivability however it just seems to me with that 'Once you enter the fray, its time to pray'. Does anyone else find this? or offer any tips?
  3. What I find concerning is the fact that it appears -eric is the only moderator for the entire Community forums.....this possibly speaks volumes about why nothing is getting done/read/replied to because the staffing levels are just not there..so it very well could be an effort in futility to even post constantly on this thread hoping for an update or something to happen.
  4. Have they actually confirmed they will 100% be doing server merg? I see all kinds of people presuming this is going to happen. Sure I think its the best option cause things are rather slow in game for us alot of the time, however unless I am missing a yellow post, I believe there have only been two primary posts from -eric? from what I'm reading I don't think they have said 100% this merg is happening? The reason why I say this is based on what I am reading from yellow posts from -eric . Part of first yellow post from -eric: "With this in mind, we have evaluated all of the options and determined that the best solution, that will offer the best long term play experience, is to merge the APAC servers with higher populated North American servers." And again in the next yellow post -eric acknowledges merging is the best option: "It was because of this that we decided that moving APAC into the NA servers was the best option." However, in this same yellow post note -eric also states: "If we move APAC to NA some folks will see increased latency" So in summary my interpretation is: "Yes we think merging the APAC servers with the US in our mind is the best thing to do, however we are not quite 100% sure yet if this will be happening." Agree? The thing that concerns me the most about this is by not giving a 100% indication that this could draw this process out even longer.
  5. Thanks for your reply, however I'm not sure its that black and white. The yellow post indicates: "One thing to note is that there is no catchall solution here. If we move APAC to NA some folks will see increased latency, but they will have healthy server populations and can remain on their chosen server types. " This could be interpreted as you have all ready chosen previously and will goto that server type. Not that they are going to let you choose again, hence my request as I do not want to assume we will actually get a choice to choose. Also on another side note looking further into -eric's statements, notice also that -eric states here: " If we move APAC to NA " , This is contrary to the earlier yellow post from -eric stating: "With this in mind, we have evaluated all of the options and determined that the best solution, that will offer the best long term play experience, is to merge the APAC servers with higher populated North American servers. " So all they have done basically is acknowledged that the best course of action is to merg to the US servers and it might happen rather than it will happen, do you agree?
  6. Hi Eric, Can we please have some clarification regarding the APAC server transfer to US servers: In one yellow post on this thread is was stated: "We will then offer Free Character Transfers to anyone currently playing on an APAC server to a North American server of the same gameplay type, specifically: Mastar Dar’Nala (PvP) will transfer to The Bastion (PvP) Gav Daragon (RP-PvE) will transfer to Begeren Colony (RP-PvE) Dalborra (PvE) will transfer to The Harbinger (PvE)" On a later yellow post it was stated: "One thing to note is that there is no catchall solution here. If we move APAC to NA some folks will see increased latency, but they will have healthy server populations and can remain on their chosen server types." The question I would like to ask is will we get to choose which of the three transfer servers we can transfer to regardless of what type of server our characters are on currently. I for one am not interested in transferring my characters on Master Dar''Nala to the Bastion and would prefer they had the option of moving to Harbinger to join a guild with people in my time zone. A number of people have expressed this concern, can we please have the option to choose.
  7. Hi. I understand that the APAC servers might be merging with various US servers as suggested on the below thread. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=6048072#post6048072 My request is simple. Rather than choose for us where we have to transfer to, could you at least give us the option of which of the three server we would like to move the designated character to? The reason I say this is, I have a few characters on Mastar Dar’Nala that I would prefer to have on Harbinger so they can play with the guild I recently joined in my timezone.

    Naked PVP

Yeah unfortunate but true. Had a Pyro mate test it out. Level 43 so in the pre 54 bracket. Was getting Face mashed with 43 gear on VS 50+....maybe a little too much. Next game went in Naked took some damage but he could deal some awesome damage killed a lot of enemies.
  9. On that basis, the logical thing to do is consolidate servers first. I agree though, the longer they wait the worse it gets. How on earth do you get these guys to act?
  10. Hopefully they will outsource to other companies apart from EA for future developments. EA for the last two years have pretty much come in at bottom of the barrel in terms of customer reviews
  11. Thanks for your replies. However guys, stop trying to justify Cartel Rewards being duplicates,...your supposed to be arguing in our favour haha. I'm not actually suggesting all items should not be duplicates, only certain Cartel Rewards should not be. Rewards that are not transferable Emotes are a good example. If you all ready have the Emote then getting the same Emote time and time again with out being able to sell it or transfer it is rather pointless and is not like a trading card game booster card in the sense that you cannot give that card to someone else. Therefore my request for a Smarter Cartel Market giving us better value for money and is more fair.
  12. Simply, it would be great if when we purchased a Cartel Market item that the Cartel Market didn't send that toon certain things that you all ready have I.E I have made purchases on one toon and received 2 x /kloo emote's etc. That's obviously disappointing and kinda makes me feel like I'm getting ripped off a bit....any chance you can address this please?
  13. To quote Jeff Hickman. "Our new, high capacity servers are teeming with people" Jeff may I point you in the direction of this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=534412&page=435 Clearly your statement is quite the contrary to the above thread. Your team has been promising to do something well for close to 8 months now, obviously there is little talk and no action. Please address the APAC concerns as soon as possible, this is a great game however the lack of action really hurts Biowares credibility in alot of peoples eyes.
  14. Dear Jeff, I am glad you are 'committed' to improving player experience, all though I would like to question your statement "Our new, high capacity servers are teeming with people?" and draw your attention to the most viewed thread on SWTOR forums regarding the plight of the APAC servers and the frustration the entire APAC community seems to be experiencing with the rather extended lack of action to address this problem by your staff unfortunately. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=534412 We would really appreciate some kind of a non cut n paste repeat type reply "if possible", explaining what are the issues behind not being able to implement any of the suggestions given and if there is kind of time frame or action plan yet to fix the problems mentioned in this thread.
