  1. Well.. I know this question has been asked many of times, but with all the updates and my lack of knowledge, I'm going to have to ask it again, sorry! Anyhow, I'm back after 11 months or so of being gone.. I quit right before The Rise of the Hutt Cartel. So, I don't remember anything. With the tree's being reset, I forgot which Tree I used before.. and I'm having to contemplate on which to try now. Since there's so many changes,, I'm not sure what to go with. I ONLY PvP, so disregard anything that would help someone in a PvE situation. I suppose I'm looking for the easiest one to play now since I'm just getting back in to it.. I've forgotten how to fight all together and it's something I'm going to have to re-teach myself hopefully in the next day or two here. If someone could either list a good tree here or link me to a good build that focuses on this current update, I'd really appreciate it. Oh, and.. I really do prefer DPS over anything, but if you guys think tanking or whatever is better, please let me know. Just that DPS has always been my preference. If something else is far easier or more efficient, I'm not totally against changing though.
  2. Well.. simple as that. I quit right before The Rise of the Hutt Cartel came out. I've done a bit of reading, but perhaps I've missed some.. Just wondering if you guys would be gracious enough to mention a few things here and there that are different, or perhaps things I should expect or make sure to read up on. Currently, I suppose I'm going to have to work from 50 to 55. Anything you guys can tell me to be prepared for since I'm just now coming back, please do!
  3. Thanks! I'll definately go Doc then. Any advice on which War Hero to get Doc? To optimize his healing/survival.. I guess it couldn't hurt to give him a bit of endurance and armor rating to help him survive a bit longer.
  4. So.. My objective with all of my characters starting with my Sentinel is to do my best in out numbered situations with open world PvP. I know it will be quite difficult, but I would love to get to the point where I can take on 3 and 4 people at once, and still take them all down every time. To be honest, I know that would most likely be against people who aren't fully geared, but I'd like to get as close to it as possible. So.. I guess you can say that I wanna be a lone wolf of some sort. I know that you aren't meant to fight alone, and the game works best when working with your team. But I like challenges. So my main question for this is.. As a Sentinel; what companion could most likely suit me best in an outnumbered situation? I'm guessing it's between Doc and Kira. The extra HP from Doc would of course give me a bit more survivability, yet Kira would help me take them down faster.. So my goal is not only to improve myself as a player and with the best possible gear, but to also improve my companion as well as my companion control. (I do know that some PvP areas don't allow companions, that's not a problem, I just want to have the best help possible from my companion when it's applicable) I do plan on gearing my companion very well, of course. I've heard that Presence of course affects your companions stats; but does that presence come in to effect when geared ON the companion or on yourself? Would it be worth it to focus on presence or just get him or her the equivalent of Elite War-Hero once 2.0 comes out? Thanks!
  5. Well. Endgame, lv50 Sentinel. Just working on getting full War Hero Weaponmaster's gear right now. I've made quite a few posts on this matter before but.. here's for a couple more questions. Thanks for the replies I've gotten in the past, you guys have all been very helpful. 1. Is focus dominate in PvP? I have played Watchmen up to lv 40 and then at 40 switched to focus.. Any links to good builds? What are the specs people are getting 1mil dmg with? lol I know it's quite difficult, but I do have my goals. 2. Should I do ALL weaponmaster's gear? I hear that some people switch out certain items for other items. I'm not going for elite warhero. I'm just getting Warhero, and any other similar items for now. Not doing Elite Warhero's because of 2.0, but I would like to still hold my own until then. So if you could let me know what gear to use, I would appreciate it. My whole time as a Sentinel I have gone for Str, then Endurance and nothing else what so ever.. so I haven't experienced any other stats with this character yet. Let me know if any of them are worth it please!
  6. Well. I'm level 50 (Sentinel), currently running all recruit gear with an elite warhero chest piece. I don't care about the fact that 2.0 will be in about a month give or take, I wanna perform the best that I can between now and then. I have a lot of time on my hands and I can catch up to the people saving up quite fast. Any guides? I don't want everyone to just say full elite warhero or anything like that .-. I want a progression guide.. what can I upgrade on the way there; what order to buy the equips in.. stuff like that. Also; are datacrons really that important? I've only gotten like 1 since I started playing, lol. Does it really add up?
  7. Slayers is a newly made guild looking for dedicated, hardcore gamers. Requirement is currently Lv.25+. However, I will strive to make it a 50's guild shortly. I will focus on conducting raids, ops, ranked PvP matches, and more. I have a strong MMO background of 7 years. The guild is currently quite small but growing. The requirement to join will eventually be Lv.40. Maybe 50 depending on how well it goes and how many members we have. I have a raidcall setup (It's like Vent or any of those other voice chat programs, but I think it's better and it's free) If you're interested in joining, just contact me ingame (IGN:) Zephuryz Thanks! Officer spot is still available, as I haven't made my choice yet.
  8. So, I'm level 50. (Jedi Sentinel) People told me that all the fast money making is based at level 50, so here I am after about 11 or 12 days. What are some consistant 200k+/hr or so ways to make money? Do they even really exist? I have searched many of them up on youtube but all of them are like pre 1.2 and from older updates that are now patched.. anyone know any guides or have any tips? would appreciate it xP thanks
  9. Well.. I just reached level 50. I tried to queue for a WZ, waited about half an hour, I assume it's because it was around 4am EST. Group finder doesn't find anything either.. I do a lot of playing at night and solo play.. So theres my biggest problem. Can any of these flashpoints in which give good equips, money or what not at level 50 be soloed by a new lv 50? Whats the best thing to do for solo play? Any guides for 1.7 money making? I'm Artifice. any advice? Would really appreciate it
  10. Actually.. when you hit 50 it gets better. There's more to do. You set equip goals, and getting better at PvP. Once you begin to dominate in PvP and get really good at it; it's fun as hell. Right now you just need to tough it out and level up through questing. Trust me, I hate it too.. But its worth it and it's what you need to do. Around lv 30 you can go back to Warzone more and have an advantage over most of the people. Don't play with rage. Be patience and be smart. You'll get the hang of it. I've been playing less than 2 weeks, and I'm lv 45. If you dedicate yourself, everything will come fast.
  11. Well.. I'm a lv 39 Sentinel. I'm about to become lv 40. I want to prepare for lv 50 pvp gear. I'm just about 100k xp away from level 40, and I almost have the maximum WZ comms. I heard that starting at 40, you can buy the Mercenary Comms or something like that.. So that I can save up more comms. I'm gonna try and buy as much of the mats and gear as I can pre-50. Though I do understand that a large majority of it is from Comms. I have my favorite orange gear which I would like to make my pvp gear.. For what I understand; you're still capable of buying the best PvP gear with comms and then just transfering the mods to your orange gear of choice and still getting the same exact stats. Is this how it works? Can anyone give me a list of the best endgame items and how to get them? I hear that theres paths. Like you have to buy certain armors before others. I'm not really sure how it all works. Any explanations on this would be appreciated. Thanks! A link to an extensive guide of getting endgame PvP gear would be amazing if there's any out there. thanks!
  12. So.. I'm level 38. I just bought a +41 expertise crystal. I know it adds damage takes away damage recieved and heals better.. but what are the exact amount per 41 expertise? does anyone know? like is it +X% or amount of damage or what not.
  13. It's not that they think it's a bad thing. They're simply shocked.
