  1. This sounds like a fun idea and I'd really like to be a part of it. Just sent you a request on Discord.
  2. I'm coming back to the game after a long break and am looking for a new home. I just submitted an app on your site. Hope to hear from one of you soon! Slimbolt (Merc) / Slîms (Sniper) / Gaj (Jugg)
  3. I'm interested - if you guys are still recruiting. I'll keep an eye out for one of you in game. You can find me on Gaj/Slîms/Slimbolt. Thanks!
  4. Another thing to consider is what lowering the prices of items (especially armor) does to the item's appeal. If prices are significantly lowered, every person you run past on the fleet is going to be wearing the most recent addition to the Cartel Market. That would ruin it for me and I'd lose all desire to spend my balance of Cartel Coins on these items. I don't think I'm alone in that. So, there really is a balance to be considered here. Lowering the prices enough that the masses can afford the sexiest items might be counterproductive. Sounds elitist, but it's something to consider.
  5. This right here is what we all need to be worried about. I played LOTRO from day 1, and this is what I saw happen. All new content and events are designed around promoting store items instead of fun gameplay. Remember those cool treasure boxes that would drop from landscape mobs? What a fun addition. It just so happens that when one drops, it's almost a certainty that you don't have a key in your inventory that will unlock it. But guess where you can get one for 100 Turbine Points? You got it. This is what I feel will happen to SWTOR with this model, and why I'm not enthusiastic about it at all. Bioware specifically mentions aggressive content updates and events. That's cool. It's the way these updates and events will be designed now that is not cool. Of course this is speculation on my part, but it's based on past experience. And, really, we all know this model is being implemented to increase revenue so it's not hard to see the writing on the wall...
  6. Great post, I've been wondering many of the same things myself. I'm sure there is a strategy/plan since the transfer feature is apparently close to the end of development and about to enter testing (according to the dev tracker). However, it would be great to hear what the general plan is. I don't need all the specifics, but it would nice to hear in generic terms how the process will occur.
