  1. To be clear, This suspension and/or ban is just on the forums and not the game?
  2. While I do agree with what you say, without any support or any fixes on the PTS it hinders the leveling process of players. If you read my last post you will see that there was(I still have to check if its current) a major game hindering bug on the PTS that would pretty much stop the leveling process. But I am glad it is at least open so I was able to level characters to 50 to be able to test the game better. Edit: Yes this bug is still current on the PTS and will prevent anyone from leveling in form of a timely manner.
  3. Thank you Allison for taking the time to respond to this one thread out of the thousands that are created in a day. While I understand that there isn't a need to test the hot-fixing patches we have had in the recent weeks, I don't understand why the PTS isn't getting patched at the same time the live servers are getting these hot-fixing patches. One major issue I face yesterday(I haven't logged in today to check) is an evade bug. While trying to kill mobs, most often than not, after killing one or even before being able to kill one the mob evades and resets. The quicker you can kill a mob the less likely this will happen, but when you have to kill elite or sometime strong mobs, it makes it very hard to continue questing. I am far from knowing how everything works but I am not sure if the 1.3 patch will fix this when it is put on the PTS or if we will continue to have this problem. If it doesn't fix this issue then I would think it would be helpful to keep the PTS up to date on patches or fixes to make the larger patches that you want to really test on the PTS go smoother. Edit: I just checked and this bug is still current today and will prevent anyone from leveling in any form of a timely manner. Thrill, I think you noticed and made some good points. While testing 1.2 there were well over 200 republic on the server all the time. Which is more than my live server has at peak times. But yes, currently I am one of the few that continue to play on the PTS as if it was a real server, and maybe I need to stop looking at it that way. I am not asking for the hot-fixing patches to come to the PTS before the live server, I am asking if we can just get the patches at the same time so the game on the PTS is at least current and not behind. BWA does listen, you are right. I didn't get into many of the ranked warzones because to be honest while I was playing there were not many going on. Even during the hours they asked players to only test ranked warzones. It is hard to take a small sample size of all differently skilled players to say something works or not. I am glad they didn't push it out and have decided to work on it a bit more.
  4. So keeping one more server up to date on patches is too much work for the techs? I am not sure it is that much more work to do, but I am wrong a lot. I didn't even get my legacy tauntaun on the PTS even though I had a level 50 character there. That doesn't bother me, but what does is that the test server isn't being used to its full capability to help things go smoother for BWA. They don't need to test the emergency patches on the PTS just give them to the PTS when they go live since people do play that server as well. Otherwise there isn't a reason to have it up unless testing a patch. Specially if it creates that much more work for people in the office.
  5. I don't understand. My thread was moved but not answered? Did a mod just press the move button instead of reply? I thought it would be a very simple question for customer service to answer. I just want it to have the most current patch or a patch that will go to live in the future. Right now it is a few patches behind which doesn't help anyone. The PTS says it tests weekly patches, Which doesn't seem to be the case. They have said they they close the PTS forums since they are not testing a patch currently, which is fine. But if they don't want people to play on the PTS then why have it open all the time? Having players being able to play the most up to date patch on the PTS is helpful with getting people to actually play on the PTS for better testing of future patches before they go live. One reason we have had so many bugs is because there are not enough people testing the patches. I had started leveling a character on the PTS since before 1.2 and reach 50 during the 1.2 testing and am working on other characters now. Before 1.2 came to the server we would have about 10 people on the republic side playing, during 1.2 testing it was well over 100 and now its back to 10 people. There were hardly any ranked warzones going at the time of testing due to lack of players. I would think if you wanted more people to play and test on the PTS then you would support it more with the patches, even if its just rolling out the live patches the same time they go live. I can be completely wrong on why or how they want to use the PTS since I am not part of BWA, but that is why i posted this in customer service, to find out.

  7. Yeah, I noticed it seems like it hasn't been patched since 1.2 but I didn't really realize it until two weeks ago. I think its a shame that its like this right now since this is the server that I play a lot on now. As far as bug reports go, I have had one open for almost two weeks with no reply, It's a bit disheartening.
  8. I am one of the very few people that play on the PTS regularly and I am a little confused. I had thought that the PTS gets all the patches that the live servers have. But after looking at some of the patch notes for live and seeing they are not working on the PTS I don't believe this to be true. If it is true then I need to start filling out bug reports for these things. Please let me know how this works so I can help.

  10. I am both happy and sad I am not the only one having this issue, so I know its not just me. I am not sure you know how attacker points work, if I am understanding your statement correctly. Your statement is confusing since it doesn't seem to have to do with what I posted.

  12. People are not receiving the correct points for defending a turret. It has been broken since patch 1.2 was on the PTS. This problem may not be such a huge issue now that the total medals needed to receive credit for the match was brought down to one, but it still a big issue. People are getting a lot less medals than they should be earning which means less valor and comms. I see this problem in the civil war warzone all the time. It makes players not want to play warzones if they are not getting credit or if they are playing the warzone players do not want to defend since they don't get credit.
  13. I am 400 Slicing. For 3hrs and 25mins that I played for I ran all slicing missions. I only received one mission discovery during that time. I sent the crew out to get lockboxes of all different types but mostly upper levels. I sent out my companions on epic missions right before I logged out so tomorrow morning I will be able to log in and hopefully see that they didn't fail since those missions cost 3115c each. It seems doing rich types or not you can gain or lose credits either way. I hope that BWA looks at the slicing information that's generated in the game and improves the mission pay outs otherwise no one will keep slicing. People saying that they are not losing any money from any mission is not being truthful. As you can see I have run all types of missions for different amounts with different companions and you still lose credits on some missions.
