  1. I have noticed something that is taking place with the Force Cloak on the Assassin that dose not seem to be plaguing the Shadows. When the Shadows uses the using the ability force cloak with the heroic skill that allows it to activate the Resilience it clears all effects on the player and takes the person out of combat. Yet with my Assassin, it dose not work. for I may have like 5 stacks of something damage over time ability in player verse player and even those they are set up the same it dose not take me out of combat. For I seem to get a damage still and get pulled back into combat. So both Resilience and Force Shroud said that it purges all tech and force abilities and increases the resistance factor to 200%. This again works on the Shadow but not on the assassin. Also I have noticed that playing player vs player on my ASSASSIN, I am getting charged for repairs for damaged equipment and not on the SHADOW. Could you also take a look into this situation. "Well let me go on the other side" Yet for a MMORPG system would you not have to agree that there may be people that play both sides of the game as a Jedi that would be consider a good Samaritan as well as a person that plays as a Sith and that toon is a Horrible person?
  3. We the undersigns ask that there be away to bring Speedy back to life, so that he can once again roam free along the beach with out being eaten. We the undersigns ask for a title for being a "Good Samaritan" for doing this. Hint and suggestion to Dev team: The Good Samaritan
  4. In SWTOR people always come back in some manor or another. Maybe Speedy is a force user and can be brought back as a speedy ghost to haunt you on the path that it ran or maybe like in the CLONE wars that he can be revived by the bones.. Or is there another Hidden achievement to bring Speedy back to life. For if there is an achievement for being a horrible person. Why is there not one for being a Saint for the Jedi. The Sith toons you have kill him. But the Jedi Toon Brings him back to life.
  5. The shadow/assassin lost their ability to preform a 360 Degree push back because of the PVP community complained about it. For the complaint was in regards that this class was pushing people off the bridge in the event of Void Star. They would stealth and then move to the center of the bridge and cast that ability. So BioWare decided to accommodate the PVP community by removing the 360 Degree Push Back to a Frontal or 180 Degree push back around 2.0. Yet looking at what we have today. The sniper/gunslinger and the commando/powertech both have a 360 Push back. They also have an ability that will not let you move them or prevent it. The sniper/gunslinger has a roll that will prevent any stunning ability to be placed on them during that roll. They move into entrench then they will use that ability to position themselves into the middle of the bridge and push players off. This was the same issue or complaint that was made in regards to the shadow/assassin. So if this was a problem for the shadow/assassin to have this, then should not the same reduction in the 360 degree push back be done to the other two classes? Would not making those classes push back frontal only as well be consider balancing the playability of the game. Or better yet, why not just return our 360 degree push back. But seeing how things are done, it seems more likely that returning it back to the class will not happen. Even though it is shown in the movies for that class when you first start up Star Wars the Old Republic. Will you consider, then, to nerf the other classes knock back as you have done to the shadow/assassin? On the side note, the planting of a bomb should not be consider a force or tech ability. Sages/Sorceress have an ability that prevents players from interrupting a cast. It has been documented that these classes are using this ability to plant the bomb and nothing can be done to stop it. No other class can preform this. Many groups have found this out and are using this to plant the bombs on the door. Perhaps a closer look at what has been forgotten should be taken a closer look at once again.
  6. Well if I had to guess, If it is a memory interjection that is being used, the server is trying to update their position for collision damage and targeting. So the change that the person is doing by jumping around from 10m to 300m to 100m to 200m to 10m and so forth is screwing with the targeting system of the server relaying back to the person's client. If this is truly happening, what would prevent this from happening in PVP...

  10. I have known Sev'ak for awhile and I agree with with him on the risk and such. I normally blow my money on dumb crap any ways or stupid mistakes that I buy something and realize I already have it or I cannot use it. So risking a 1mill may not be a bad thing if it turns out to be a real thing. If it is as the /popcorn people say.. This is the best scam ever.. it will go down in the history books of the game and for ever be placed in the form of shame. But lets see how it plays out.. nothing risk nothing gain... I'll buy 1mil worth (10 shares) of the EHME stock

  12. I would agree the the Role Playing on the server is a little less then what many may have hope. One factor in this is that there is no repercussion for their actions. On a RP-PVP server they pull that they just might find themselves hunted down and killed. But it also may be that these ones do not know the lore of Starwars and are creating the world they would like to see the univers. I always enjoyed watching Just to keep my mind set. When the Cathar race came out, I had to look at how they were part of the Star Wars Universe and how to understand them. Still not sure about the Honor sword and how it plays apart of their Culture. May be some one could assist me on that part. But, I thought about how a Sith was given mercy by a Cathar Warrior and became a loyalty friend for years. But the Carthar was killed during a Imperial attack. He attempted to save his friend and his friends family but at the end failed to do so but made a bond with the Warrior and his family to one day return the Catharains back to their glory. So he sets out to free the Carthar people threw different means, Assassination, buying the slave, or through covert operations. Yet still keeping the appearance that he supports the Empires goals. But going around killing every Sith lord or person that has a Carthar holding a sign say.. HAY BE FREE KITTY BE FREE.. in a RP-PVP server would up dead with a laser in their backs... For this would match up with how the Character started out as a Slave and became a High Ranking Sith. So I like the ideal of a Sith that hated Slavery but in a Focus Direction toward one Race..
  13. I will agree with you on that matter of not looking at the Guidelines for the start of the pares but as for the later part. I asked for the quest for understanding in this regard. For by doing so suggests that the quest for knowledge includes failure, and that just because one person may know less than others, they should not be afraid to ask; rather than pretend they already know. In many cases multiple people may not know but are too afraid to ask the "stupid question"; the one who asks the question may in fact be doing a service to those around them. Carl Sagan, in his work The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark said: "There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand the world. There is no such thing as a dumb question"
  14. Thank you, For the information. I was not saying that the Parse was not legit, I was trying to understand how it was possible since I am not aware of the combat/carnage spec. I am making sure I understand this so I personally can learn from those who have taken the lead in DPSing. I found the apposing proc, So again I think you.. I will make sure next time to look at every bit of the log before posting.. but again thank you for helping me to narrowing it down.
  15. I have been looking over some of the PvE Parse and seeing the amount of DPS they are out putting out. I wanted to study them to see if I can get some pointers on different classes. So I decided to focusing on the Marauder Class and I have been seeing something odd. Thereby I am hoping that I can get some clarification on these parse I going to be focusing on Farius Jedi Sentinel Log Who ranked 2nd on the listed here at http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=628575 But as I was going over the information, I could not find away to duplicate the results because of a few things that do not appear to be possible in a opening fight. To help to make sure that I was not over looking something I started to mapping out the attacks that he was doing to get a feel about the timing of the attacks. After about 6 seconds into the fight I stopped looking any further until I can get a better grasp of this. First off Farius appears to have already a built up stack of Centering before he/she started the battle, which normally would not be the case at a start of a Operation Boss fight unless of course your chain pulling to a boss. 03:23:17.990 Farius enters combat. 03:23:18.025 Farius activates Force Leap. 03:23:18.025 Farius loses Sprint. 03:23:18.026 Farius gains Power Surge. 03:23:18.027 Farius gains 3 focus point. 03:23:18.289 Farius activates Inspiration. 03:23:18.290 Farius loses Centering. and shortly there after they use the Valorous Call to regain the 30 stack of centering 03:23:18.578 Farius activates Valorous Call. 03:23:18.578 Farius gains Centering. 03:23:18.661 Farius's Force Leap hits Operations Training Dummy for 949 energy damage, causing 949 threat. 03:23:18.793 Farius activates Zen. But that is not what I am trying to find out, but think that is an unfair accounting of a DPS class from a COLD start on a 5 min Parse to give a good result.. Yet my question is more in line in what I am seeing after entering combat 6 seconds into the parse 03:23:24.676 Farius loses Opportune Attack. 03:23:24.676 Farius gains 1 focus point. 03:23:24.676 Farius's Blade Storm critically hits Operations Training Dummy for 11024* kinetic damage, causing 11024 threat! 03:23:25.327 Farius's Ataru Form hits Operations Training Dummy for 1032 energy damage, causing 1032 threat. 03:23:25.678 Farius activates Dispatch. 03:23:25.678 Farius gains 1 focus point. 03:23:26.185 Farius loses Precision Slash. 03:23:26.186 Farius loses Hand of Justice. According to the write up on this ability Dispatch Instant Cooldown: 6s Range: 10 m Throws the main-hand lightsaber at a target, dealing 2390 - 2782 energy damage. Only usable on targets at or below 30% max health. How is the dummy at 30% health at 6 sec of the encounter and being that of the Operations Training Dummy? Is there away to reduce the health of the dummy to 30% health for testing? I know I seen a video were a group of players killed the Operations Training Dummy. But that was with a group and not a solo. So could some one explain how this parse is possible with the use of that ability so early on in the combat
