I did contact cs about this and as I suspected it seems like there isn't a physical limit applied to the whole acc but there's likely a counter-based "limit" they set themselves. I was told by one rep that besides if too much time has passed the other reason is if the toon was already deleted and restored once before. However it seems like you can get past this - it just depends on the agent who handles your case

if that were the case then there wouldn't be other responses in this thread questioning my OP and there wouldn't be other threads about this on google asking about any limits counter- or time-based. also support wouldn't be inconsistent about this but at the end of the day I guess it boils down to who handles your ticket and who you talk to

if that were indeed the case it wouldn't have been just this character that was (formerly) denied. and yes it DOES make a difference because I had contacted support and asked for clarification on the restoration policy and was told that one of the reasons for a denial was if the character was already deleted and restored once which doesn't add up per their policy because they have restored characters before that were already deleted. they also typically never mention in the queries that they can't restore it again if it's been deleted and restored once

it's alright I appreciate the extra info. I love having the pve info handy just in case I ever find myself wanting to raid

Just wanted to update and say my Mara finally got restored. Keeping this thread up for anyone else researching that falls into this unfortunate circumstance that if you're deleting characters there is a limit on how many times it can be restored. If it's been deleted and restored once already they won't do again but I was never made aware of that by CS. There have also been a few times where I was able to do more than one restore. So if you delete a character more than once, do so at your own risk!

I know for mods its the R-20s but the enhancements are the ones with 431 tertiary stat, power in 300s and end in the 200s correct?

The game’s prealpha engine has always prevented full scale WPvP unfortunately, and the little bit of WPvP that did exist was killed off when bw removed PvP/PvE server designations and made PvP instances in every server instead, making it a lot easier for people to avoid it altogether

For the record, I'm not a habitual offender. I get CS is simply doing a favor by doing restorations of any kind. I just wanted clarification on this "limit" because such a rule has never been said or implied by BW or from any of my interactions with support

You know what you're doing, thinking you're all slick by trying to do that. The mods aren't dumb and neither am I You on the other hand were gone more the 28 days. That is the difference. It's not apples and oranges. I log in one day and my guild is gone. OP logs in one day and their guild is gone. Everything is gone. And with all these other scenarios other players have raised not even you can be so certain that I lost my guild due to inactivity. You were never even in my guild so how can you be sure that it was inactivity and not something else? You also conveniently leave out an important point after that not very active lately comment, in which he said his Republic guild was set up the same way yet that one never disappeared. So why one and not the other? Could my guild have disappeared in a similar manner as his Imperial guild? A game can be buggy and SWTOR is no exception to that If you think I'm wrong then that's just your opinion. That is also a fact. I'll keep "ranting on" because that's what one of the things my sub entitles me to do. To come to these forums and give my critical assessments and suggestions. I deleted a character once a few days ago and CS isn't restoring the character because there's a limit? This is news to me. I've deleted other characters before and have had them restored with no problem and afaik I've only deleted this character once. Can anyone share their experience with this?

Yup. Someone also linked a thread earlier about this issue and with their interactions with Keith they ended up getting their guild name back. So I stand corrected here, thanks I get what you're saying and tbh I don't think any one system will be perfect without any drawbacks but since I made this thread I did give some suggestions for BW to consider, not just a guild rank with admin control. Have it tied to the GM account's subscriber status, allow people to quit without having to disband if guild is inactive (someone earlier said this could be another possibility). In another thread someone claimed their guild just vanished and I can't completely rule that out either esp with how buggy this game can be. Oh well. All I can do is come here, give my criticisms and move on. I already have and I'm on a new server anyway with a fully maxed out guild and whether what happened to me was a guild ninja or not (I was never there so I can't say for sure), I just hope BW improves the system. 28 days is dumb.

I am a subscriber and I have every right just like any other subscriber to take any complaints I have about the game and post it here for the team at BWA to read and hopefully consider the feedback.
