  1. Normally when I level a class it gets nerfed at 50. My Jugg was the first time it swung the other way and even I think it's all crap now. I went from playing every day to once a week. Not even sure why I keep my account open at this point. I guess it's still fun to hang out with people from time to time is all.
  2. Last time I played a pre made was strategically assaulting the front line. Seriously though, it wasn't DW and it didn't matter as the game was out of hand and it helped to get some quick fights and kills for medals. The game has deteriorated is many many other ways, but that's a whole nother thread
  3. Haha, looks like Huttball Spawn camping is the new hotness. I haven't played much, but the last 2 times I logged in I've ended up joining mid match with the same premade destroying the pugs and spawn camping. Seeing non-ranked Huttball turn into Deathmatch with a ball 95% of the time makes me wonder what would happen if BW did just do a straight up Deathmatch. The game would probably not have a lot of the team strategy and obviously objective strategy I like, but I wouldn't be shocked if PvP got more popular by the "masses".
  4. This is yet another horrible decision by BW. They give away a ton, but locked so much stuff its going to be an awful experience for people. They have the best story and grind to 50 of any mmo. They let people have it for free but then lock all the fun stuff behind pay. If I started a character today with all those limitations I wouldn't enjoy the game at all. So yes the give it away, but they made it crap. Totally boggling.
  5. I haven't paid much attention to the items in the market, so I'll log in at some point Thurs or maybe Fri to see. No PvP love at all and broken PvP stuns pretty much has me convinced I'm cancelling come the 20th. I just don't have time with all the other great games out like Halo 4 and COD to put up with meh pvp. Who knows, though - maybe some cool people will come back with F2P or the coins will be interesting enough to keep me around.
  6. How in the world is "more QQ threads?" answering a question of any kind. It's just a pointless snarky remark that answers absolutely nothing. I like the idea above about CC breaker resetting on death, but I think I remember a Q&A where BW said they do not want to do that so people don't just pop every skill in desperation.
  7. This is my issue with it. There's no thinking or strategy in stuns anymore, it's a spamathon. Another great point mentioned by someone earlier is that most people are in the Deathmatch mindset (I jokingly call PUG Huttball Deathmatch with a Ball because it's how people play it). BW really should reward objectives more or better educate. People just think if I kill more I must be winning. As for the 44x stun match, it was Voidstar which is as close as it gets to Deathmatch so that + me focusing their heals probably bumped the total from a "normal or average". Still ridiculous.
  8. Even though it's an insulting post, genius idea!!! I wish I did that, I don't have fraps etc. set up. I was counting off in Vent though with my team. No one ever looked over and said you're dead bs, or I see you and you're not stunned. So aside from human error, this was as accurate as it gets. Few more notes I actually missed most roots I was trying to take down the Sage with Bubble so this exaggerated the count I'd assume I was on my "Lesser known" Melee class that isn't well geared. So it's doubtful I was targeted.
  9. I was also under the impression using your stuns strategically would be important. Since 1.4 it seems people just use it when it's up because there's no real harm most of the time. I see lowbies popping knock back in the worst situations just cause it is up as well. In ranked this issue wasn't bad as good teams do use stuns strategically but now bubble throws that out the windows. It's to the point that I'd rather burn down the tanks than go after a great bubble sage/sorc. I sent in a ticket and got that same response, it's a template. In an effort to make this productive, lets get more stun match counts and ideas how to fix this (since BW clearly can't). I love the shorter cool down on the breaker, but I think it needs a small immunity window. Stunning a stunned player could backfire, break their stun, or maybe just add a lot of resolve. Resolve could fill 4x but full resolve may make you debuffed and take say 10% more damage. Roots should add resolve I'd like a red text message when stunned
  10. Count and let me know, I'd be curious how it shakes out for others. I just grabbed 1 random match. I did happen to be on a meele class and our opponents had bubble stun (most stuns seemed to be casted though). Seriously, count it up and let me know.
  11. Why am I not surprised by this reaction. Awesome contribution to the thread though. As for some of the other posts, good points that this doesn't even count roots. It's also good to know I seem to not be the only one that never gets resolve anymore. My point was how insane it was once I counted it. If you throw roots and snares in there, it's pretty likely that you'll be incapacitated in some way for 30% of a fight or more. There's got to be better systems where players aren't handcuffed for minutes per WZ.
  12. Lets break that down to 3 secs on average and toss a few off for popping the breaker and add a few unbroken CC in that and I was "unable" to play for around 2 minutes or 15-20% of the match. I was full resolved once. This is just broken..... I get CC, it has a place in games, but stun is just a frustrating thing to do to a player and this game does it over and over like no other (except Daoc Stungard days). Is there another modern MMO that doesn't have diminishing returns on stuns, immunity after breakers, or some combination of things? What do we need to do to get BW to fix this?
  13. The fact that BW never at least addressed the manual pop of this and the lack of proper resolve added is a slap in the face to all PvPers.
