  1. Thats true it should atleast help numbers . I just hope its not micro transactioend to death or made pay to win. If they use the Lotr model then yea it could be a realy good shot in the arm for the game.
  2. Has nothing to do with you being an idiot . You said theres no quick travel yet its everywhere in the game. If you dont like the way the quick travel works thats one thing and if you want to quit well thats your right dosnt bother me any. But to say theres no quick travel when in fact theres several diffrent forms. Is pretty much a made up reason to gripe.
  3. LOL eve has no travel it auto moves you for everything theres no control for combat no control for pretty much anything its all click and auto. No real game play to it just click and watch.
  4. what good mmo have you played with a quick travel? lol even wows flight paths used to take for ever . And eqs load times was horrible in the begginging from coaches.
  5. Agreed i cut prices every chance i get i sell my items make money quick and feel good about it. I dont have to rip someone off charging 20k for a 5k item. And anyone that does nomatter how they spin it . Its just greed
  6. I also remember them saying the purple crystal would be available to all thru crafting its why i maxed a artifice. Yet there no schematic and noway to gwt it unless your a imp. Just another way they got of making this game all about the imps and just throwing the rep side in so the devs have someone to test chit on.
  7. Another good reason is the tank specs on ToR are very lacking. I tank with both a guardian and a shadow. Once you reach the higher lvls its not so bad for aggro control , But in the lower lvls its a pain in the arse. And alot of people dont like that. For a number of reasons . Espeacily when you have large groups of mobs and no aoe taunt or large aoe attacks other than sweep. Dps is not focusing fire so aggro is jumping around making healers job harder. Next thing you know your getting QQd for being a bad tank when in reality its not the tanks fault. Not to say there isnt bad tanks i myself believe the only thing worse than a bad healer is a stupid tank. But in lower lvls the tools and aggro holders we need are soarly lacking. And it hurts the apeal of them for many people. just my 2 cents on it as a tank across many mmo's ,
  8. There now dont you feel better? Sometimes we have to reach way down deep inside ourselves like that and make these kind of realizations. In order to grow and become more productive members of society. Or theres always option B. Get drunk and say screw it lol .Any game is funner with a 5th of jack and 2 liter of coke 8)

  10. I have to agree with OP. Why cant you use some of the oposite factions armor? It would go along ways towards making your light/dark preferences match your toons style. I can ee not making all of them cross faction but there is many choices they could do.

  13. While that would better mirror the classes.It would just compound the problem as they would both be clunky and stuttering. And that wouldnt be fair to the juggs or the guards. Cant fix the problem duplicating the isssue. But can fix it by duplicating the more fluid animations.
  14. Ok first off this isnt a rant post or a QQ its simply a exsperiment i did with some pretty drastic results. That the devs should realy (IMO) give reasons behind. Also this is a long and i hope detailed thread. So i have lvld 4 toons 2 rep 2 imp. Guardian/juggernaut sentinel/mara. While doing so i have asked in general chatt as well as had many whisper convo's with players on both factions concerning very noticable diffrence in play mechanics. And almost all that i have spoken with agree with me on these points. While both factions have thier pro's and cons one of the biggest obvious diffrences is the fluid movement graphics. For a juggernaut the overall fight mechanics are way more fluid and acurate than the guardians. And again i am in noway downing guardians this isnt about the player skill or L2P aspect of any class. Its about the diffrence devs made in the overall class graphics . The jugg has much more fluid movements and battle aproaches than the guardian . One huge diffrence is the way the sabers are held . A jugg holds thiers as a one handed saber allowing faster movements with alot less stutter and skill hiccups than a guardian. While a guardian holds thiers like a 2 handed saber with semi clunky and offten stuttering movements. Slash on a juggernaut is a quick precise movement yet on a guardian it will almost always make 2 movements before it executes. If guardians are desighned to use 2 handed sabers then they should allow them to have the longer saber with more powerfull swing motions (not more powerfull swings ) but the overall motion of the swings. It just looks clunky and cumbersome for them to use a 1 handed saber, In the same manner as what a longer 2 handed weapon should be used. If devs realy want to balance the graphics diffrence and fluidity of the 2 faction mirrors they need to change the guardians to the same graphics as the jugg for the way they hold thier sabers and swing them. Even to the cinematics of a guardians shows them doing this, Yet in game they are completly diffrent. The 2 handed aproach to a one handed weapon causes clunkiness and stutters during execution of moves. The same applys for the sunder ability on a jugg its a fluid spin strike. On a guardian its a clumsy offten slow swing of a base ball bat. This isnt game breaking per say but for many it will put them off somewhat . As it does take away from the over all apeal of a class. And for those wanting to play a warrior/knight it could very well be what makes them choose imp over rep. Instead of chooseing for story or faction preference. As many will shy away from a clunky cumbersome feeling charecter. Espeacily if there is a much more fluid mirror alternative. Even if that is on a diffrent faction. Now for the sents/maras . I am happy to say for the most part these 2 are very simular and well mirrored after going from 1 to 30 on both factions i can say they are what mirrors should be. The graphics of the classes while having enough subtle diffrences not to be exact copies.Are simular enough to not cause one to be more fluid or deadly apearing than the other. So i commend bioware for getting those 2 classes right. But other very noticable diffrences are pressent in both factions. Such as Vette the warriors first companion. With good gear she will out dps any companion a knight gets. And with her being gotten early on she lends much more help to a warrior than kira or t7 either one. As she isnt near as squishy as kira and will far out dps t7. The warriors also get a healer much faster than the knights making it easier for them to lvl early on and solo many of the quests that a knight will have to seek help with.Is this an oversite by the devs? If so an easy fix would be to allow the knights to upgrade the ship droid at around the same lvl as the warriors get thier healer. So knights could also have a functioning healer. Untill doc is obtained. As of now even with upgrades the ship droid is a huge gamble on wether they can keep a player alive in a tough fight. So in closeing Again this is not a QQ post as i very much enjoy both classes/factions. But with alittle tweeking on the graphics and companions. The overall players exsperince could be much more exciteing and enjoyable. I truly hope the devs read this and atleast consider trying to make the 2 actual mirrors rather than pale comparisons. Feel free to chime in your thoughts on the graphics and companion diffrences but try to refrain from turning it into a na na na na boo boo im better than you thread lol......
