  1. This game already has collection system, so no it would not require extra development time in that regard.
  2. Dyes sell at insane prices on GTN. I bet Bioware sells lot of them on CC as well. So i was thinking that not only would some dyes with textures work really well with some outfits, it would also sell super well. I think that primary and secondary color in a dye should have different textures in some dyes. Some dyes would have metallic red primary, matte white secondary etc. Idk what other textures would be great besides metallic. I might not actually be too much into metallic dyes myself, but rather some other texture. But i don't know what other textures there could be so i can't suggest any. But i am sure people can come up with plenty of awesome ones.
  3. Changing level sync/scaling is not "fixing" it, as you call it. Basically you want game to be easier by allowing you to overlevel everything much harder. And gearing still matters for late game, after you have finished the story. This is how it was designed, and maybe you (and others?) think it needs to be changed, but that would be change, not a fix.
  4. Datacrons as they currently exist make early game even easier, which is not needed, while they have very little effect late game. Imo they should be changed to a small percentage (1%?) boost instead. If percentage is small, it would have less effect early game but because of how percentages work on ever increasing stats, would have bigger effect late game, making them worth getting. But if its small enough percentage, even if they stack, it would still not be too much.
  5. First if all, please avoid major spoilers about Legacy of the Sith. I have not played that yet. But i would rather be spoiled than make a wrong decision, i don't want to replay game again just to change my decision. So i am playing as Sith Inquisitor, and i really have a problem of rejoining the Empire. Why would i serve Acina? That throne is mine. And i don't want to give up Alliance, it's remaining members are my loyalist powerbase. Only way i would want to rejoin Empire is as it's leader. But i do really want to be called Dark Lord again. I want to be in the Dark Council, a spot that is rightfully mine. So my questions: A. If i remain independent, will people call me "commander" or "dark lord"? Maybe Darth Imperius again? Does joining Empire change way people address and treat you? B. Will any of the alliance members leave if i join empire? What about if i don't? C. Will remaining independent make it impossible or harder to expand my power base inside the Empire? I do want to eventually take over the Empire (granted, the game might never let me... but as close as possible). D. How else does rejoining Empire or remaining independent affect me?
  6. Now i get that real Royal palaces would often be massive. But there are plenty of places that have been used by royals which are much smaller. I think there should be 2 different kinds: 1. More security themed royal establishment. A luxury bunker of sorts. Think of medieval royal castle, lavishly decorated, comfortable (so no Hollywood, nobody with the money would live in grey, dark uncomfortable and hideous bunkers), yet practical, functional and not necessarily that big (as opposed to less fortified royal palaces). 2. More of a "luxury resort" themed stronghold. Place worthy for an Empreror/Empress to rest away from prying eyes, in comfort and luxury. Neither needs to be massive in size. Small ones are just fine, and i actually prefer it when strongholds are not massive. But the layout is super important, it would be great if both would have some kind of throne room in a logical place, with an eye towards safety too. EDIT: EDIT 2: I just noticed Alderaan Stronghold is in the game... whoops!
  7. I doubt they will ever add another class story anymore. Maybe another advanced class or what ever they are called today, but nothing that requires new story for a class. It would leave remaining 8 classes without new content, so everyone would either have to play new class or not get any meaningful update. It just is way more cost effective to add story content that all 8 classes can play. Which is a pitty, because there definetly are stories they could make which only makes sense for a certain background. Now personally i would not mind this. I already think 8 classes is way too much for post-class story (because i don't want to play trough same story 8 times), so after original class stories are completed, i no longer play most of my characters at all. If we would get a new class with new class story, i would play trough the story and then ditch the character like i have done with most of the classes. If that is how we get best quality story, then so be it. But i would much, much prefer a story that i can play as my main character(s) on what ever levels they are. Eternal problem of MMOs is that character's story needs to continue forever. 8 classes is way too much for that, they kind of have to just have 1 story for all with some variation at best. EDIT: That said, they really should try to have as much class specific content as possible. But i understand how very little that can be.
  8. Both of you make a good point. Ideally we could have a "conservative" and "liberal" visual options. Toggle conservative on and skimpy outfits become more covered, pink hair with green beard and purple lipstick becomes brown hair and no beard or lipstick etc and liberal allows everything. I always think people should be able to play things way they enjoy. I love color, but for many people immersive means more rough and grey look. But that would sadly be too much work for it to be worth it. Their budget is very finite. So i guess things need to stay as they are. Personally i find most of the bikini ladies very immersion breaking, but there are few skimpy outfits that work, and there are tons of wild/unconventional hairstyles that work. It also depends on context. DS Jaesa wearing her revealing top fits very well for her, as long as she does not get silly dancer's bottoms or other stupid stuff. DS Warrior keeping Vette as a slave and in skimpy outfit is realistic enough - unless she accomppanies them into battle. As for beards and such... well problem is that i dont think bearded ladies or pink haired anyone fits well in Star Wars aesthetic. It fits well for some sci fi settings though, and there definetly are some more wild/unconventional looking visual options already, so why not allow for more? Star Wars is large galaxy, surely there are many places where wild/unconventional aesthetics are the norm. Coruscant, Zakuul, Nar Shaddaa, many other big planets with large populations. So i would say yes for more options and variety. I just really hope that they don't become too common for NPCs. I like NPC aesthetics as they are, most are quite plane and regular looking, only few have more wild/unconventional look. Roughly in similar proportions like in real life, taking into account which planet/group those people come from. So more wild/unconventional looks in underworld of Nar Shaddaa, less in higher classes of Alderan. Keep it that way and its all good.
  9. I am really excited about this, and the topic sounds perfect, its exactly what i am interested in rn.
  10. I would love that actually. I am in this primarily for the story, not so much for MMO aspect. Though if i would find OPS fun enough i ofc would try it with other players as well. But form my experience MMOs are not designed to have fun gameplay, its just grind that is supposed to be fun because you do it with other players. Which is a shame because in first 10 levels of the game gameplay is actually genuinely fun and good, weapons and abilities actually feel powerful.
  11. Title says it all. There are so many great pieces of armor that would be perfect for me with different cape/overcoat or lack of it. I understand how time consuming this would be to implement, so i would accept that this is implemented slowly over time. There are too many pieces of armor to do it quickly. Just start by adding cape slot, and at first make it usable only for those pieces of armor which don't already have a cape/overcoat. Over time, start tor remove capes/overcoats from excisting pieces of armor and make it it's own slot. Ideally even the shoulder pieces would be it's own slot, but unless that and cape slot would be merged, it would be too much work for now. I don't expect this feature to be done quickly, it can be rolled out piece by piece over multiple years. And that would be fine.
  12. I definetly want voice acting, but i wish game would show exactly what my character is about to say. Really dislike the 3 choices dialogue wheel. Also i think they should add ability from Mass Effect where you could ask multiple questions of your choosing before making the decision. In this game i often have to pick between few different options, when in reality i want to ask both why someone did something and what Material X is. Its needless limitation that makes no sense. I should only have to make pick between few exclusive options when we are making choices, not when i just want to talk and ask questions. Luckily esc key exists.
  13. Well i will wait and see if that happens. Not much good has happened yet. Fallen Order had great gameplay. But we had Jedi Knight games 20 years ago, Fallen Order hardly took anything to next level. Fallen Order had one brilliant scene at the end, but it was slightly let down by ex machina survival of that someone who that epic someone threw down. Other than that story was boring. It is a good start though. Maybe expansions or next game will give us something that takes Star Wars to next level, which imo is Mass Effect 3. If we get story focused Star Wars game as good as Mass Effect 3 minus the ending, it would be brilliant. Release endless amounts of good story expansions and i would be forever praising the Force. And SWTOR, nothing here about next level to be seen. But i am sure Disney will make lot of money with Star Wars. I just wish i could like it as much as i liked Star Wars pre-Disney. Legends had lot of crap, but Fate of the Jedi is my favorite Star Wars book series. And there was some other good stuff too, i was interested in Fel Empire, Imperial Knights and Jaina getting married to Jag, who would become Emperor. With Disney in charge, Jaina would divorce Jag and Empire would become evil guys again, and throw away all other development that happened for last few (rl) decades of Star Wars. But good if you can enjoy Disney era of Star Wars. I do believe that if you like Disney Wars, a bright future ahead, you will have.
