I thought I should post this here, in Story and Lore. I was researching Jedi Master Ven Zallow, and happened upon this tiny morcel of awesomeness. Imagine being a Sith warrior/Sith Inquisitor or Jedi Knight/Jedi Councilor and being able to mold a padawan to your whim with an interesting story behind her. I know, it sounds like Keira, but the story behind her is certainly interesting an left open for expansion. Aryn Leneer, padawan to Ven Zallow, was away from the temple the day of the attack. She felt her masters death and vowed to fight the man who killed him. She later battled Darth Malgus and lost but was spared. She returned to the Jedi only to be exiled for going against their wishes. She later found her way to Tatooine where she stayed with a friend from Havoc squad that had settled down there. This leaves a Padawan who is neither good nor evil, and would allow us to slowly mold her into either a Venerable Knight or Dastardly Warrior. We already have Jedi companions but her history is left open to use, so why not bring her back in during Fallen Empire?

The first 3 yes, 4th...no they would take a lot of coding as their body's don't match any of the existing models.

The elder scrolls online has something exactly like this implemented ad te gameplay is not faulted for it, however, in SWTOR classes are key. A guardian with a double bladed lightsaber would be the most played thing or a warrior with one as it would be the best of both DPS and TANK.

Hello again, I brought this up some time ago but would again like to extend the knowlage of this character that is in the SWTOR universe as we speak. Aryn Laneer. Padawan to the jedi who faught malgus in the jedi temple. After his death Aryn was filled with the desire of revenge and against the councils orders, went after malgus. After a brief duel Aryn was defeated but spared by malgus who then left her to wallow in her failure. Upon returning to the council she was exiled and was never seen again. What I'm saying is. She could be a good future companion! Maybe her reasons for joining whichever class character you choose could be different. An example as follows: Jedi Knight-"I wish to seek redemption for my acts, please take me as your padawan and let me re-learn my teachings" Sith Warrior-"I want more power, I want to defeat Malgus, please teach me to be stronger!" Ah her masters name I now remember, Ven Zallow. I think she hold enormous potential for a companion and I would love to romance her. What I would honestly like to see is an Arena room, one where you could actually have people scheduled for a duel and when the time comes they can either accept or deny

Now I know this is asking a lot, and I mean, ALOT. But I think it would be cool to have a few cartel exclusive home items you could get, maybe an emote that summons a droid that serves you or a personal guard, this is just an idea I happened to think up, not a big or important one.

that may be the next alien to enter the playable ranks, but seeing as they would need to add in the tendrils movements to the Emotes and other things it would take a considerable amount of time. I agree but its probably far off i hate to say.

Say you want to increase attack speed without sacrificing a whole ton of damage, then maybe you could mix it with a shoto an normal lightsaber like a dagger. The same with a long Hilted lightsaber for guardians, effectively increasing damage with slightly decreasing speed?

Actually think of this for a moment. YOUR CHARACTER IS CALLED BACK TO TYTHON. For their show of prowess in the use of the force and their ability to triumph over the impossible they are assigned to a new padawan at the temple (maybe you could choose the race) but this padawan was born to a sith family and was heavily obsessed by them. Then your a new quest could open where your character goes on to certain planets with her to teach her of the force. Maybe what you say and how you act around them could morph how the character responds to your character and others, be it with anger, kindness or flirty. Then maybe (while still on Tython) you could also suggest to them what kind of lightsaber they should use AND they could ask if you want them joining you in battle or helping you from afar. Then as the main body of te quests after Tython her Sith family starts attacking you then you trace them throughout the galaxy, the main baddies could be other sith, the one they were supposed to marry, their father and mother and other people. Now listen to this; the last scene for her could be on the bridge of her sith fathers ship, she charged ahead of you to face him and was caught, now being held in a trance by his/her father your character doesn't want to hurt him/her so he fights her and her father, then your character tries to break through to her, the ending differentiating upon how you have morphed her personality over te coarse of your character and him/her being together.

Not as in color crystal or anything inside the saber but maybe we could, when being a subscriber buy from the cartel market a "Fully customizable lightsaber" (or gun) after purchase a menu could open and let te player interchange parts from the existing lightsabers of the game, I'm talking just appearance, not any of the insides; that would be something you would buy from te GTN. I know this would be a TON of coding but I think it would be pretty cool and interactive considering a Jedi's lightsaber upon first creation as unique and guns wouldn't be bad to customize either.
