  1. No I bought the (Account) versions. I asked on the forums ahead of time, bought the (Account) versions, and am not retarded, and they did not work. As another example, I bought and used three Unlock: Cargo Bay (Account), and got ONE additional cargo bay for my guys on ONE server. Not three, not account wide, and no I did not buy/use the Unlock: Cargo Bay, I used the Unlock: Cargo Bay (Account). Three times. And got One. And before you even bring it up, NO I did not already have 4-5 cargo bays, I only had 2, and all 3 (Account) Unlocks brought me up to a total of 3 on characters where I already had 2 cargo bays, and brought me up to 2 on characters that had 1 cargo bay, and only on one server. I am not coming back to this thread again. I asked for input ahead of time on items, and got no useful information. I am posting my results here so that maybe others can avoid the steaming garbage pitfall of frustration and waste of time and money.
  2. So for anyone reading this thread, please don't puchase any of these products as they DO NOT work. Unlock: Cargo Bay (Account) - does NOT WORK for your whole account, does not work across servers even though in the description it says "(on all servers)". It is a blatant lie. Unlock: Inventory Module (Account) - does NOT WORK for your whole account, does not work across servers even though in the description it says "(on all servers)". Another blatant lie. In fact, it does NOT WORK even on ONE server. If you have multiple characters on your server / in your legacy who need more inventory slots, and you use this item on one of the characters, it DOES NOT give inventory slots to the other characters, it only gives 1 additional row to the 1 character that you use it on. It works exactly as the Unlock: Inventory Module does, one row for one character, not account wide, not server wide, nothing. I'm going to go ahead and assume the other products I asked about previously in the thread, are also complete garbage and will not buy them. This game and the products it offers are still the same garbage they were months ago, and word of warning to any of the millions of players who left this game and are thinking about coming back and trying the game again, don't waste your $15 to try it out for another month like I did. I can't believe I didn't learn my lesson after the $150 on the Collector's Edition and even more on months of subscriptions - STAY AWAY.
  3. Well a guy on my server told me the Artifact Authorization (Account) only applies to the server you use it on, and not on all servers. I will assume the (Account) part is bogus/bugged and get one for each server. step 1: assume it's bugged step 2: assume the description is written wrong Unless someone who has actually used one successfully can confirm otherwise, I will just get one off the GTN on each server before downgrading to F2P.
  4. Can someone who has bought / used some of these items shed some light on this?
  5. Well I would post this in the 'Cartel Market Discussion' thread, but it does not exist. Forgive me for posting here if it is the wrong place. I have a question that maybe someone could help me with. There are two different items, the "Artifact Equipment Authorization" and the "Artifact Equipment Authorization (Account)". At first I would assume the first one is for one character, and the second one is for your whole account. But in the "fine print", BOTH items say: "Use: Applies the selected unlock to all Characters on your account." So which do I believe...the title, or the fine print? There are also some items, with an addition at the very end. For example, on "Access Authorization: Section X (Account)" , at the very end of the fine print description, it says "(on all servers)". But, the "Artifact Equipment Authorization (Account)" does NOT say "(on all servers)" at the end. So does "Artifact Equipment Authorization (Account)" apply to: -all characters on one server -all characters on my account on all servers Or can I just buy the cheaper Artifact Equipment Authorization and apply it to all characters on my account, like the "Use" says?
  6. This has been an entertaining thread. In the first few posts, it is basically stated, that great healers can interrupt, and also people should play with target of targets enabled to improve gameplay. Then, after that, SIX PAGES of people arguing against those two things. Amazing.
  7. SWTOR killed itself. GW2 had nothing to do with the 90% of the people who are already long gone.
  8. Well I don't care about new content or updates or what will be free/won't be free with F2P. I don't care about future playable races, or what will be available in the cash shop, I don't care at all whether or not I'll get more character slots on a server for more than 8 characters. But I certainly absolutely want to know more about (insert random person's name here from community team) on a personal and meaningful level.
  9. By the way, the social gear has been in the game since at least early game access; it's a full set except for belt and bracers, and only requires social 1. You don't even need to do a flashpoint to get to social 1; it's like 10 points and you can pretty much get that in ONE quest conversation with another player. The only thing that's changed, is that it used to be Light Armor type, and now it's Adaptive Armor type which is even better. Bottom line: Make and sell Mods. Even the crafted orange level 11 gear is only like 1-3k on GTN now usually.
  10. The capital worlds are walled-in areas just like the Fleets are. Just different fake scenery in the background that you can never get to.
  11. But it DOES make sense, lore-wise, to have Pureblood Sith Jedi running around all over the place? Hardly. Lore has nothing to do with it. More like: "We are too lazy to add any race that does not use current body-types with a different colored face," and Wookies don't fit that description. Neither do Trandoshans, Selkath, whatever race those original bounty hunters Hammerhead and Snaggletooth were, Nogrhi, and so on and so on through the hundreds or thousands of conceivable races in the Star Wars universe. As for Droids, well yeah they can speak basic, but they can't be forced into body types 1-4. Player abilities that effect droids, could be modified to be usable against "NPC droids" but not "player droids" ie. just code player-droids to not be treated as "droids" but all of that is pointless since they can't be body types 1-4 so they will -never- be in the game. Bioware: "We're going to add a race that sucks, and if you don't like it, we won't add more races."
  12. What people who continually bring this up fail to realize, is that it is an IDIOTIC argument. There are already alien races in the game, which do not speak basic, and have subtitles. If it blows your tiny mind too much to concieve of such a thing as 'playable' versus 'unplayable' then well I guess that's your problem. The voice acting would not be flushed down the toilet. It would still be there for all the recolored reskinned humans in the game. All of this boils down to "IF IT REQUIRES ANY WORK AT ALL ABOVE THE BARE MINIMUM, IT WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE GAME, EVER." Which is a completely different argument than "it's impossible to conceive of having cool and unique alien races in a Star Wars universe." I'd say the choice of Cathar fits well with their other decisions, because it is terrible. And terrible fights right in with their walled-in, on-rails, LitterBox single-player game they've created. Really the Star Wars huge fanbase huge franchise MMO going free to play within a year? Cathar BS fights right in with that.
  13. I am sure the brief conversation, followed by fading to black for 2 seconds, followed by the 'well that was nice let's do it again maybe some day' would work exactly the same with jawas as it does for re-colored human skins. And the other people's arguments that the MMO is fully voiced ... give me a break. Wookies, Jawas, Trandoshans are already in the game and voiced and have text. Why would that not work exactly the same way for player characters?
  14. So are you all saying, that a new vanity pet in the cash shop every six weeks, is what we can expect as "new content every six weeks" ? Because that is most likely what we can expect.
  15. This is tremendously annoying to me as well. Especially in the smuggler storyline. You have to go back and forth to your ship several times per planet ("return to Risha" etc). Hey I just want to walk onto my ship and talk to a crewmate. I don't want to leave the planet. I also don't want to sit through the really long loading screen when I have to re-land on the planet.
